Getting the Internet to recognize me as a desktop?

Hi all,
I'm using PIE Plus, and I thought that by changing the User Agent settings to "IE 6.0" that sites would not automatically route me to mobile versions of their sites because they would recognize me as being on a desktop.
I just went to Youtube with my settings at IE 6.0 and it still recognized me as a mobile device?? Is there other software I should be using that's better?

When I am on the internet on my phone
And I want to click on a link a dialog box comes up
(You can not open a new window as You have open the maxim number)
Can anybody help me?

The default browser supports a maximum of 4 windows.
(Access the windows by pushing Menu key>Windows)
