Good day.
For my professional obligations (working with the DDTC's D-Trade system), I secured a Digital ID from IdenTrust.
I installed the certificate on my x64 workstations. I exported the Digital Certificate to a PFX and imported it into my Sprint SGSIII (d2spr - a SPH-L710). I am running an AOSP based ROM on the device - SlimKat which is a kitkat build.
Upon importing the certificate, I received a notification as depicted in this image:

I am not interested in letting the CA see all of my network activity, as some of it is not for public consumption (especially given that I am a Gov't Contractor working on some sensitive programs).
My question is this: Is the warning that the OS tossed a warning that is possibly too generic in nature and that the CA really can't monitor all of my network activity, or is there truly a risk of the CA being able to sniff the network activity?
Please advise. Thank you, in advance.

Mods, I cross posted this into the general android Q&A forum too (here). I tried to delete this thread and was unable to do so (maybe 'cause I am a newer XDA forum member.?.). Please feel free to lock or delete this thread, if & as warranted. Thanks.

Hi there - I'm a total n00b here, so thanks for your patience!
I have an audiovox PPC-5050 CDMA phone through Bell Mobility in Canada. I also have a Windows Mobile upgrade package, but am having problems upgrading from Mobile 2003 to Mobile 5. I used the XDA tools to create a rom image of my device, but when I try to restore the data, the tool reports a communications error - "cannot execute the remote communication program".
My question is - do you think I should continue trying to do the upgrade, or instead try to restore the ROM? So far, both have failed!
Thanks for any help and suggestions on how to proceed!
A google search at PPC 5050 shows me that it's a Wallaby, no way to upgade to WM5, sorry!
Darn - really??
If this

is your device, i think it's not upgradable.
But it seems that the PPC 5050 is not a real Wallaby, it's a modified. Maybe another User has experience with it.
Yes - I saw that the PPC-5050 was based on the Wallaby .. so it's hard to tell ..
Well, after looking for an not finding what I wanted...I just decided to build it.
#1 - place to compare ROMs and Kitchens..with filter and sorting.
#2 - place to keep track of my own personal ROIM experiences
#3 - place to keep track of cabs I load (how many cabs do you have on your storage card you have no idea what it is)
So I built up this Sharepoint site and gave a bunch of Cookers rights to post their stuff...but more is better!
So, now I'm going to the public.
Here are some screenshots of the basic idea

Here are some of the cool stuff you can do with lists:
filter By Carrier
Filter By system
here's where users can track their experiences with different ROMs and Kitchens
Here they can track stuff on different Programs and Cab and such.
So....after all that...

Please understand that adding users is not automatic and somewhat cumbersome....I will try to process requests as soon as I can...but I just want to set expectations...It may by 24 hours or more in some cases. since I'm the only Admin right now.
Hope you like it...There's a survey out there on the site to let me know what you think.

there are instructions on the site for how to Join and Use

Microsoft contest "Next App Star" just entered to the final phase: the winner will be chosen by user votes from the 64 finalists (64 best apps chosen from 9000 total sent to contest). Voters will have a chance to win a Nokia Lumia 920
You need a Facebook account; open the app at http://nas.newwp.it/ and click "Start voting"!
If you vote for my VoiceTranslator application (first announced here, on xda), I'll be very happy
Thanks!
Even when some of these apps deserve my vote...
I don't trust any "facebook crap", if I wanted my personal details to be known by the "Orwellian friend", I would have wrote real information on the profile when I registered (I did it to get a very important service manual from scribd.com)
Now, off with the rant: Offering the best phone in the word for a raffle that is a scam? no thanks... FB raffles, FB polls... all BS!!
faustolg, it's not just for the raffle; it's for xda developers support I hope, you are enjoying some free applications on your WP7, why don't show your appreciation - it will cost you nothing...
Hi everyone!
I’ve made a quirky alarm clock app. It's for those who have trouble waking up, like me
If you’re the kind of person who sets multiple alarms in the morning - this is for you. You only need to set a goal time and tap “ON” button, the app does the rest for you.
I’ve made it for personal use, woke up with it for couple of months, and so far I’m very happy with results - I wake up on time! Friends encourage me to publish it, but before I do I’d like to see how people react to the new concept.
The app is reliable and works in full, has a nice UI and how-to-use tutorials. Free, no ads.
Care to take it for a spin and tell me how you feel about it?
