Simple question, just bought a GT-P5210 Tab 3 10.1" & there seems to be so many conflicting reports as to whether Skype works on this tablet or not (specifically the !0.1" model as it has an Intel processor)...
Have just bought it but not yet broken the seals to unbox it, so can anyone cofirn if Skype works fine (audio & vidie) with this tablet or not please?
If so, with which version of Skype - latest or older version needed. Thanks folks

There is an issue with WatchON with the tab 3 8.0 I was wondering if any one else can replicate.
I can only select the correct channel lineup for zip my zip code and it requires a set top to be configured when I do not have one on any of my TVs.* Not a big deal as the tv channel to be changed can be configured to us My TV except that the Watch Now from the channel guide doesn't work.*
Testing using the OTA (over the air antenna) no set top is required and the Watch Now from the guide works correctly and allows the Watch Now to work from the guide. Problem is the channel line up is now incorrect and only show 10 to 15 channels and not the cable tv lineup of 0 to 68.
I have replicated this issue and would love to test a newer version but the tab3 8.0 comes with version 1.0.68 and it doesn't allow an update to 1.0.77 on the market.* The updated is not released or available that I can locate. Tried the same on the tab 3 7.0 and tab 3 10.1 at bestbuy.
Watch On works perfectly with the S4 phone and even allows a toast notification to stay in the drop-down notifications and the quick channel volume change is really nice.* Samsung support was like what ever contact WatchOn via email. No response from Samsung or watchon via twitter. Usually Samsung is pertty good, but I'm pretty disappointed with this loss of functionality of this app on the Tab 3 compared to the s4 phone.
Thanks in advance!
I had a chance to test with 2 demo models at Best Buy last night. The tab 3 10.1 and 7.0 both exhibited the same functionality not working with the application.
Interestingly the WatchON version was different on each tablet but so was the Android OS version. Surprisingly the OS version on the 8 and 10 is the same but the version WatchON version was different.

Hello,
I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (P5210) 16GB.
I'm searching for the smartview app, and tried the ones who are on xdadevelopers.
Unfortuanaly these don't work on the tab 3.
Is there a smartview app that works for the tab 3?
thanks (and sorry for my english..)

Hey I found it in a here on xda
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1808188
And for me it is working on my Tab 3 10.1 4.2.2
Send from my Neatyfied I9300
thank you sevenshorseman for your answer
Tried both versions but both don't work
I can only use both apps (3.1.9 and 3.2.0) as a remote-control, not for live streaming. App says that the tv (ue40F7000) is busy with something else. But realy don't know what that means...

I am a long time Apple user and have always jailbroken my phones and tablets. But I have made the switch to android and would like to use my Note 10.1 to remote play my PS4.

This thread makes it seem possible to do it but I am new to rooting and it seems like there are many difference processes depending on which device you have. So I am have a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition wifi only 32gb and is running Android 4.4.2.
I tried rooting with odin following this video. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cMT61ZSASY ) but it didn't work because my OS is newer then 4.2. So what are the steps I need to take to get remote play to work on this device?
Hey everyone,
Do any of you know if someone has created a Rom or an app for the Tab 3 7.0 sm-t210r that adds screen mirroring? Right now the 7inch models don't have that functionality
Don't believe they have I asked the same thing a while ago.
Hi,
I have bought a Chrome Cast. It worked nicely for my cousins' smartphones (nexus 4 with Android 5.1.1 and MotoG with Android 4.4.4), but not in my S4 Mini.
Issues:
1) Screen cast starts to casting, but only the first "frame". Any further action is not updated on TV screen.
2) I installed an app called "Photo Cast" to stream the photos to Chrome Cast. But usually only the fisrt picture is succesfully sent. Sometimes two or three. After that I have to leave and enter again in the app.
Did anyone have some issues like this with S4 Mini? Any workaround?
Obs: Androind version 4.4.2.

Currently I don't have a s4 mini but as I still had mine it worked fine together with my chromecast, I was on a 5.0.2 rom
Mine worked fine with a friend Chromecast using 4.2.2 Stock ROM.
S4 mini will cast photos to chromecast if you use the ezcast app. Found this out after buying ezcast hardware!
