Hello, I'm helping a friend root her phone and I'm having difficulty finding something concrete for rooting purposes. I've familiar with Samsung rooting as I've posted on here for years, first with a Captivate, then Note 1 and now the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Now that I think about it, I'm not 100% sure if there is a different one for n7105.
Best to double and triple check before installing to make sure Haha.
I once made the mistake of glancing over the op and messed up my old x10 lol.
And yeah with all the various sub sections it does get confusing

I don't have, unfortunately, much experience with Android development (I do, however, have experience in general software development), but I'd be very glad to help get this thing rooted in any way I can.

Hello all,
I'm new here and this is my 1st thread. I have Samsung galaxy s3. I upgraded my phone manually through odin to 4.3. I was trying to root my phone. I installed superSu and all but it is saying that "There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!"
I tried many tutorials but not worked. Anyone plz help me regarding this issue.

Ugh. Sorry. What the rude guy meant is you need to find the galaxy s3 forum. Google galaxy s3 xda. There are tons of guides. Rooting isn't as simple as installing an app....usually.

We might get an official kitkat update. Samsung released a list with all the devices that are getting the kitkat update, and all tab 3 are getting it. The thing is it has been a few months since said list was released.

It will be released when it is released. Ask Samsung as they are the ones who have the answer.

I have been real smart and got my self stuck in TWRP unable to restore, boot, or even flash anything...
And to add to my ignorance I am having trouble navigation on XDA
So my first basic question is wher should I be posting for my Note 2 issue and questions?
