[Q] Skynote air 3 gear edition - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'm on a galaxy note 2 i317 with the skynote air gear edition and the Rom is running great, thanks seanzscreams and team. I recently put the AT&T visual .apk on and it set up great with the conformation voicemail received. Now any other left messages on the voicemail do not come to the phone. I was hoping I could get directed to a fix or setting that would get this to work.
thanks again for all the work being done by the DEVs and teams.

You can try phone fusion voice mail. Similar too the visual voicemail...

Doesn't the Sprint version come stock with Google Voice?

Sprint integrates with Google voice in the nexus to get the service through gv

Actually, you don't have to integrate. You can skip that, set it for voicemail only, go on PC and change settings for call screening, email and text notifications, and it'll work just the same as Sprint VVM.

How to get Native Voicemail Notifications sprint flashed to boost

I have had my note 2 flashed to boost since it came out but I have never got my voicemail notifications. I've tried this apk but it's crap, and boost has the galaxy s2 with a very good working voicemail notifier. Is there a phone.apk or something I can take off the s2 to make it work on sgn2?
Anyone?

I have given up on the native voicemail notifications u should too. I been using an app from the play store called Missed It!
I set up the widget for voicemails it works pretty good n its customizable.
There's also this notification app Missed Message Alerts works ok but not as reliable as Missed It!
I hope this helps for now. It's better than nothing.
CyanogenMod 10 JB 4.1.1 has voicemail notifications that has worked for me but with the new CM10.1 JB 4.2.1 it doesn't work yet.

I have but it's just a little annoying, the apps for voice mail notifications suck. The only phone I see that everyone likes so much for boost flashing is that old a** evo 4G with native notifications. The s2 has it, but you would have to patch the phone.app

Help using voicemail notification on flashed phones

This is a question for all of us using our phones on cricket, boost etc.
Heres the question.
Can I edit some type of file in my system in my phone that will allow me to recieve notifications when I have a new voicemail?
Im tired of using voicemail notifier app because its putting stupid shortcuts on my homescreen and avg detects it as adware. That makes me uncomfortable.
If you look at the screenshot photo I attached from a cricketusers forum. The og poster is saying that sprint uses data to recieve voicemail instead of using standard MWI (Message Waiting Indicator) which is what the voicemail notifier app allows I would assume. Is there anyway to patch the phone.apk if any and do this without the app? Thanks

Edit: I came across a voicemail notifier by extorian which works fine with no ads. I attached the apk itself and the apk extracted so someone can look at it. Is there any way to make this a mod or cook it into a rom?

Does this work with Boost? Sorry, I don't have Boost to try it myself.

It does work with boost and other mnvo. It contains the option of "standardmwi" (message waiting indicator) which is disabled in our phone.

So just install the app and enable the "standardmwi" option in the app?

Thats not what im getting at. I don't want to use the app because it keeps bringing up annoying ads on my phone and home screen :banghead:. I'm looking for a workaround. At this point I guess there is no other option. Oh well

I thought you said the voicemailnotifier.apk had no ads.

I thought it didn't beacause it wasn't advertised. But it started placing links on my home screens. I ended up purchasing voicemail notifier by amoamare from the store for .99. Go figure, no ads. Thanks for the reply alpine and thanks for the gn2 flash guid which I followed

Voicemail Notifier was designed to give back users there native and stock voicemail
Voicemail Notifier
WORKS PERFECT ON STOCK SPRINT GALAXY S4 !!!!!!
Description
Voicemail Notifier was designed to give back users there native and stock
voice mail features.
This is especially useful for people who have had there phones flashed /
unlocked to another
service provider. This is also helpful for Sprint users, as Sprint has removed
the standard
MWI feature. This app restores this feature.
It gives you 100% like stock functionality including voice mail count. This is not
intended
to replace your voice mail notification if its already working.
This app uses little to no resources and NO battery drain. It works 100% in the
background.
WORKS PERFECT ON STOCK SPRINT GALAXY S4 !!!!!!

This voicemail notifier (.99 cents from amo..) used to work on my NOTE 2 from sprint flashed to ntelos. I upgraded to a NOTE 3 from sprint flashed to ntelos and the voicemail notifier only works when I reboot the phone. Since I leave the phone on all the time this has become half useless.
The first voicemail notifier has a continuous service, ads, and also detects voicemail when I have no voicemail. I had to uninstall it.
Any ideas?

Check NTELOS roms and see if they have a voicemail app. I used sprint on cricket till they went gsm. When i first started using sprint devices I had to use custom compiled roms that had the sprint qwirt option turned off then I would get voicemail notifications. Later cricket started using their own visual voicemail app so I installed it on my flashed devices.

Wifi Calling

I've been looking around and have not been able to find anything that works. I have the sprint note 2 and have been looking for the sprint note 3 wifi calling apk. I have found it for the mega and s4 mini but none work. I'm wondering if the note 3 will work, hopefully. I have tried other wifi calling apps that don't work that we'll or I miss calls. Thanks

Any word on an APK for this? I mean, I like GrooveIP, but it'd be nice to just be able to turn off the phone radio altogether when I'm at home and have my calls and text messages still run through my "real" phone number.

Air Message?

So a really cool feature I had on my note 3 by a rom done by Sac was Floating Messages.....the apks were called air messages.apk......but it was so useful because anytime you got a text it was like the facebook chatheads but better. Hoping some great dev can put this into a rom. Ill try to provide any info I can to help.....
Have you tried Floating Notifications from the Play Store?
