Kings UNleashed Ultra Blakk R3

Kings UNleashed Ultra Blakk R3... unleash r2 is on point,blakk r3 i have errors on a few apps,lookout closes try reopen,face book crash's,handcent ECT....freeze on going to home screen..some apps don't open @all,rom manager, titan backup etc.. had cleared all cache before rom install,phone was getting hot..:::::: wait theirs more,,,,,,http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
after doing a fix permissions..rebooting..tested all those apps plus others all seems well,this might fix problems if others have with blakk r3..

i would like to flash a asop to my cricket flashed evo 4g (i know 4g will not work) but i have a problem ....my mms will not work when flashed ....CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

I am current using Kings Unleashed Ultra, I installed this new DarKk yesterday and looks cool at first, but everything is black and white!!! I felt my Evo turned into a 1950's TV. I would have kept it if icons apps where in color
Flashed back Ultra.

had problems with the r3 rom with maps and nav. About to try the new updated one hope all is fixed cuz i really like this rom.

x2 for me. Maps was crashin' on me yesterday.

To those having problems: Did you flash the "Kingsformatall.zip" look at the instructions on the page and it has a copy, with out it your phone goes bonkers, and do a normal wipe after. Also if you are using Titanium, manually restore your apps otherwise the ones he has made custom blakk will go back to normal and have FC issues.
And on another note, I happen to like the all black if you use a BG with bright colors it makes it pop. Plus black conserves battery...

Hi guys, I not a prolific poster here but I’ve been following you gear heads at the Kings Rom Thread and would like to offer “Props” for all your great info…. You guys are the best…
I am not a Techie, I have ability to change ROM with “white knuckle” confidence, LOL.
I have been running R3 with Blue Ballah (even though I hate the boot audio & image (it is very skateboard / 9th grade)) and finding it somewhat buggy but like the look. As I read this forum I am learning it is probably time to update my ROM.
Here are a few questions:
If I update to R5, how can I keep a black theme and keep my apps and data in place ?
I understand if I update to R5 I will lose the Blue Ballah theme but what will be the default them ?
I also have a question about SD card, I would like to know if there is an app to protect necessary items for the phone and delete or manage the rest ? Memory is running short and I am not sure what files are expendable without messing the phone or apps up.
Appreciate link/s for step by step instructions or any other help useful for a guy that knows enough to be dangerous and stands in awe of all you monster EVO Techie’s

[Q] TDKR and NFS Most Wanted problem

I have a problem with both games installed, I need to install chainfire3d so that NFS MW would work (black screen problem), but when I install chainfire3d, TDKR shows graphical problems, I tried messing with the per-app setting but still no progress
What should I to so I can keep both games without switching chainfire3d on and off? thanks in advance

You are using a very good gaming rom and one of the best kernels out there. I dont think there is a need for chainfire. When you enable chainfire it tries to reduce the graphics for better performance but in TDKR it will only mess it up.
I dont really know what the problem is. Have you tried overclocking??

I use chainfire so that I can play NFS most wanted, I'm getting the black screen problem (only UI and taillights are visible) if I don't use chainfire with the powerVR plugin

Solution? Use de-bloated stock ROM. Nuff said.

Excuse me, is there a MORE debloated stock rom than NXT LE???

I admire the talents of our devs but I just don't trust custom ROMs. Debloated as they may be, devs usually add features that are not to my liking. If you ask TLRTheory, he'll tell you the same... That the best ROM is stock ROM. My point here is that to be able to properly play games without having to add mods and tweaks time and again is to play using a stock ROM debloated to the brim so as to boost performance.

As much as I respect tlrtheory an like his viedeos on YouTube I would have to disagree with you both nxt le is the fastest rom I've ever used more so than a debloated stock
But tbh it does all come down to personal opinion
And the joy of of being able to tweak stuff to get Better performance and even messing up really bad and having to start over again is good learning but again everything comes down to opinion and preference

[Q] The most RAM saving ROM

I've been around for some time, lurking mostly. And installing a ROM with ICS or JB on my Galaxy W was a wonderful way to innovate. It feels like I'm using a brand new phone, which is awesome.
I have tried Cyanogen mod and Paranoid Android and even the PAC roms. But the issue I run while using them is that my ram seems to be full most of the time, and it's filled with system apps more than my own apps. Which limits the phone seriously. I am almost unable to use Swiftkey for typing online or even messages, since it lags too much the phone.
I plan on keeping a couple of apps like a battery saver, Aviate launcher and occasionally a traffic monitor app like 3g Watchdog.I've been thinking about going back to Gingerbread versions, although new ones seem more enticing with features/apps like Google now.
I'm breaking my question in two parts:
1 - Can a more advanced android version like JB (or maybe KK) help make the system faster and the ram management more efficient? Or should I stick with a rom similar to stock?
2 - What roms do you recommend? Which Kernel? Or should I just face the fact my phone won't be able to comply with my current needs and I should ask Santa for an iPhone?

The rom crashes the settings applet everytime I try to change language to Portuguese.
Can't add widgets with aviate launcher (settings crashes)
otherwise seems alright.

[Q] CM9 WiFi/GPU problem

I'm using AOKP Milestone[Stable] it's an awesome rom but after I play a game or watch a video (when the GPU is triggered i suppose) the rom goes crazy some parts of the system and apps become transparent respond to my touches but not displayed so i thought it's a kernel related problem so i flashed LuPuS kernel my favourite kernel but WiFi won't work even after flashing multiple modules
If anyone has a soloution for any of the two problems please provide it

hey bro, may i advice you to change to LX CM11. CM9 is stone age & CM11 runs far more better. battery is like on stock or even better. its also fully stable. you will love it

But the reason why im still using ICS/CM9 ROMS is that the sound of 4.1+ roms is not as good and loud as ICS ROMS if there is a solution for that problem it would be awesome

Does HDR work on this ROM? I've tried quite a few ROM's on my N5 and in most the HDR in google camera was non-existent in the options menu.

Is this a bug?
I've been looking through settings, and I can't find how to disable heads up notifications. I also tried search and that didn't do any good. Is the option missing? Or am I just blind?

ROM is great
But i've got a feature request for you. Previously i saw this only in mod for stock and in one rom. I'm talking about linking nav bar and status bar colours feature. Idk how it will be practical, but looks nice.

Fixed Camera Error on 04/08 build
I don't know if this post helps, but right after flashing Glitch kernel r320 I got the camera to work, so could it be that stock kernel has some issues?

I didnt found where to post it properly, so...
I found a bug in AOSP keyboard. When you try to change language, it force closes. Sometimes it closes when you open keyboard, sometimes it dont. I tried to use layers, completly same resoult. The ony modification i use is RRO Layers. Logcat present.
Hope you provide fix soon.

i found this rom is super awesome managing ram
system ram only 250~300mb!!!! wow!!!
now i installed about 200+ of 3rd party apps, many of them can stay alive, and i can load them very fast whenever i want!

I want to install this ROM but I'm unable or perhaps unwilling to give up the ElementalX app that was pulled from play store. So here's my problem. After I install ROM I try and restore ElemX app via TiBu it says I didn't purchase it. I know this isn't a problem with the ROM but perhaps someone knows a workaround.

Please ignore this post.Problem resolved.

this rom overclocked by cpu at 1. 7 ghz, is it okay to overclock. and xposed 5. 1 unofficial isn't working. I flashed it but got bootlop...

I have too few posts to post in the main thread, but just wanted to say thank you for this ROM. Finally a fully stable, fast, and up-to-date ROM that has everything functioning and adds only the extras that I also consider essential such as AppOps/Privacy Guard and power menu.
Great job.
The ONLY issue I've found on my Nexus 7-2013 seems related to the Franco Kernel and not your ROM exactly. The included kernel works with all Camera/USB-OTG/GPS/Wifi, but if you update to the latest R21 release with the Franco Updater app, it will cause the camera to be unable to connect.
I'm currently using the ElementalX-4 kernel instead and it seems fully compatible, and all devices including the Camera work.

Very nice ROM
Using it for few weeks and love it. Very stable, tried different layers and looks great. Thank you for a wonderful job and hope the updates will be coming, even though it's been discontinued

read quite some posting about it, but could not ind out if it was solved or if it will vanish with a new rom.....i am on the latest for n7

I'm having an issue with screen rotation. I can get it to landscape at all. Also it doesn't look like my brightness slider works at all either.
Any ideas?

Hello,really love the Rom. Just updated to the new version, fresh clean flash. Everything is running really smooth so far. Have a quick question about the settings menu, maybe I'm missing something but has the expanded desktop option been removed. I need the option to play clash of clans in full screen on my second user account. Any help is greatly appreciated
