Sorry for the noob question, I have N7100 international version with the bad bootloader (associated with 4.3). Did some modding but I would like to install DN3 which I downloaded (DN3_v3.2_by_E-Team_(Vegeta_Edition)). Is it possible with that bootloader ? My version number ends with XXUEMK9

If your bootloader is MK9 then you don't need to upgrade to latest bootloader which is ND3.Only drawback of being on the older bootloader is that you cannot charge your phone by turning it off it will turn back on.If you don't care about this then stick to MK9 if you want to upgrade to ND3 then you can do that after flashing the ROM.Also my advise for you to is to flash DN3 V5.2 it's the latest release and based on KitKat 4.4.2.
DN3 V5.2 scroll all the way to the bottom for the links,there are two versions full and lite only difference is that lite has bloatware removed such as samsung apps and all that full version has all that but while going through aroma set up you can choose what you would like to keep.
nd3 bootloader to be flashed via pc odin using the bootloader tab only after flashing DN3 ROM.

Sorry I just happened to check your reply on the thread since you didn't quote my post while replying.Glad it worked out for you.To know which bootloader you are on download phone info app for samsung from playstore it will tell you that.Regarding 4.3 bootloader from 4.3 onwards all bootloaders knox and they can only be upgraded not downgraded so if a newer bootloader after ND3 arrives you can upgrade to that but you won't be able to go back to ND3.
Just lost my wifi/bt & wifi hotspot after using dn3 5+ for a several days.. I return back to 4.3 custom rom and stock rom hoping to fix this problem but no luck..

Oh, yeah sorry I'm not used to quoting. I am really happy with this rom except for two things : battery life is a little shorter (didn't install greenify yet), and there this app always stopping when I play music with deezer : soundalive. Changed it for the other FX something I can't remember but now it's OK. Thanks!

I have GT-N7100 Middle East Variant, most probably the international variant.
I have successfully installed the android 4.4.2 via philz recovery latest version without any problem, here is some info after installation.
Base-band version : N7100XXUFNB4
Kernel version : 3.0.31-764701

THE ANDROID FILE NAME WHICH I USED FOR THIS INSTALLATION :
N7100XXUFNB4_pre-rooted_deodex_(Leak).zip
Now after the installation, every thing is working great, the phone performance is great smooth, the ram usage is fine, the cpu usage is fine,
battery consumption is great, only the problem is I cannot TURN ON WIFI , yes the wifi is not working,
I have checked that my data internet is working, and i can theter/share my internet via bluetooth, but i cannot share wifi hotspot, as it shows error..
I have tried to re install the phone 2-3 times, but still the errors are same.
I dont see any corrupt file system, i have check the os file is also fine, can any one help me ? how i can fix my wifi error ? Please suggest me the method without re installation, I have lot of big games on my phone and i dont want to do the re installation.

I mean to say the search returns the results, which donot work for me, so my problem is different, I donot have any problem with knox or OTA update, because i did a fresh install. its seems that my wifi is not loading the correct drivers for wifi, can you help me ?

I don't know which country in middle east you are in but download this stock Saudi Arabia rom from here It should resolve all your issues with wifi.Next root your phone using this Guide.
I am having a similar issue!! Search and found a patch *flashd it via odion.. but that DID not solve the problem!
Installed Omega v29.. still not working.. will try another ROM,maybe that helps
any ideas or suggestions?

I've tried MANY ROM sNOW.. Phantom, Omega.. even gave SlimRom a chance.
WIFI and Bluetooth are JUST NOT WORKING!! Its not about Disconnection.. THEY JUST DONT TURN ON (in sammy based roms *#0011* does show wifi to be ok!?
I tried to upgrade bootloader (dr. ketan) to kitkat version (his post #5). Also tried the other "patch" on Omegas first post (by dr ketan i think) using Odin.. that didnt work!!
Anything else!! Feel like throwing this off the balcony.. urghhh

The one i bolded is your culprit.You need to flash MJ5 or ND3 bootloader to get your wifi working.Alternative is flash a custom kernel like Nadia or Agni for 4.4.2 and you'll have working wifi.I'll put links below for each of them.Good luck.

So difference between MJ5 and ND3 bootloader is that MJ5 is knox free bootloader so warranty will not be void and you can downgrade back to 4.1.2 if needed but you wont be able to charge your phone by turning it off it wil power back on.ND3 bootloader is KNOXED so warranty will be void,knox will be 0x1(no way to reset it yet) but phone can be charged by turning it off.Also once you flash ND3 bootloader you can only go back as far as 4.3 ROM not 4.1.2.
If you don't decide to upgrade your bootloader and stick to your current one which is MB4 you won't be able to charge your phone.FLashing a custom kernel instead you'd be able to get wifi working again.Also if you flash ND3 bootloader you cannot downgrade your bootlader than means you cant go back to MJ5 or MB4 it will just fail in odin or worse brick your device since bootloaders are flashed onto the motherboard of our phones.So if you flash MJ5 first you can easily upgrade to ND3 later if you feel but not vice versa.Good luck

Which Rom did you try and are you on ND3 bootloader now? flash a custom 4.3 rom and see if you get wifi and bluetooth back.

i already did flashing stock 4.3 and also custom rom both 4.3 and 4.4 but still no success..

Try flashing a custom kernel especially agni or nadia for 4.4.2 on your 4.4 ROM and see if that helps.Cause these two custom kernels have wifi drivers.I am not sure if custom kernel for 4.3 have the same.

It seems more like a hardware issue to me unless anyone else got any more ideas.Sorry
I will first go with the custom kernels. If this works i will reply here.

When i flash the DN3 rom is say (bad) abort
here is what is
1) delete/ factor reset
2) wipe clash
3) divk clash
4) Flash rom - here is what i have problem with
I have download more 10 time it still have same problem

make sure your running newest twrp. 2.8.1.0. that should solve any issues with installing dn3 v5+

How to can i flash model without go back to stock? Sorry I am new to rom!
try doing some reading in the dn3 thread. i'm sure your answer is there. read. read some more. then when you think you got it figured out. read some more. then ask questions. far as no imei or baseband. i got no clue on that one. if you were on mk7 and installed it with newest twrp you shouldn't have that problem.

V5.2 is further we go as it right now right? for T899? I know that they have DN3 V5.5 and DN4 which for N7000. The T889 cant use it right?
dn3 v 5.2 n7105 version is what you want.

V5.5 is not working for us atm and DN4! right?
dn3v4 is old. 5.5 i havn't tryed yet. i run jedi open source. i have ran 5.2 though and know it works

I got it to work. But I have other question how can you check if it run on LTE? I couldnt found it !

hi friend i cant turn on 2g network in s4 mini i9195 when iam chose (2g only) i have no signal and i see emergency call only...1:i try wipe data cach an dalvik i do factory reset and the probleme stayl her...2 i try this in stock rom and no stock rom(cyanogenmod) and same probleme please help me pleaseeee

Region and modern are not exclusive, you can use any modem in any region.
If you have Knox bootloader you can't downgrade modem use only same family modem or latest

Are you under warranty and have knox 0x0 then send it to repair

When you change modem has your baseband changed?
Its in Preference/about screen
Whats your baseband now?
How's your download screen looks like?
If you tried many modems and roms and still 2g does not work then its better to go to samsung service center. They will figure out if it is software or hardware issue.

yes when iam put a new modem its change the modem...iam now at (i9195XXUCNK5)....i try many basband no one work...when iam at 4.2.2 every thing its work but after a update to kitkat i lose 2g connections i see (emergency call only) and i have not bare of signal....but 3g working normal...can i try to download a MoDem from 4.2.2 jeally bean and flash it at m'y 4.4.2 kitkat????

hi i use the rom comming with the phone in the first witch is the 2g work normaly.and after that i use the rom in sammobile
Enable data connection than try to set manually on 2g.

Issue Solved by flashing STOCK ROMdownloaded from www.sammobile.com) Mods you can delete this thread..!!
