Our maintainer says that there will be support, but that Cyanogenmod has to take some time and get their hands on a device. I'm sure it will happen!

The g2 I believe does ...main difference beside few design changes is mainly just updated processor and more lg bloatware to keep up wit samy and HTC ...

Right now we have the default kernel until lfkevin or microslav develop one. But battery life and system performance is the best I have seen so far with the nitro, imo.

G Pro 2 won't be backwards compatible with our phone because the specs are all different. The closest thing to our phone in terms of specs is the Gx.
