Hi,
Does anyone have a script to remove bloatware for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0? I see a lot script like this in XDA, but non of them for this tablet.
Maybe i can modify from their script, but i don't know which app is not safe to remove. If any of you know which app is safe or not to remove please drop me a line. Thanks!
Apps that i want to keep is...

- Weather widget
- S-Planner (Calendar)
- Camera
- Gallery
- Play Store

I'm not sure what I need to remove, I have tried searching for the simplest minimal rom, I could not find one.
If you look on the cyanogenmod. 7 website and look for barebones wiki it gives you a list of everything that can be removed from cyanogenmod and what effect it will have. You could also try rempuzzle lite as I believe its quite stripped down

Re: Bare Bones Rom
Thanks for your reply, I will read the wiki and remove at least some of the apps I never use. After checking out this rempuzzle lite.
This is the rom I have atm, cyanogenmod was draining my battery quickly

Thanks
How long did you have cyanogenmod installed for? It can sometimes take a few days for the battery to level out, but it shouldn't be draining at a rapid pace like

battery will save more then 10% make Google maps backup first if you don't want to backup also can, and uninstall it.! when u want to use install it back.

Thanks... But it is only one tip... LOL
You can also use autorun manager pro to disable the receivers ...

It would be a good idea to have a thread on optimizing google apps which have become invasive bloatware IMO. Along the lines of gapps recommendations for battery: uninstall maps, network location, google backup transport (use mapquest). Also with play services I keep it frozen with disabled receivers since it reinstalls itself if you uninstall it. If anybody knows a good fix for that or has other info on disabling receivers that won't stay disabled, that would be greatly appreciated. Or good apps to use for freezing/backups/modifying receivers and startups. I use system tuner.
Here's my list of user/system apps that I uninstall, some listed by apk and name. This does get rid of live wallpapers and other crap I consider bloatware, definitely personalized for me, be careful. Make sure you back up each app per rom.

hello , can i get a list app that can be remove from my acro s ? my phone get low ram , low free system. .already root my phone
Check the attached image below.
Apks marked in blue can be safely removed. If you face any issues, then just move the apk back to system again and set permission to rw-r-r
If you Facebook and timescape then leave them as it is, I don't so moved those too.
Try this...Just go to Settings > Apps > All
Disable the apps that you think you dont use...
Just click on any apps, Force Stop then hit Disable
List of apps that ive disabled, all are safe :
- Ant Radio Service
- Email
- Event Stream Engine
- Exchange Service
- FBiX CalendarSync
- FBiX Music Likes
- FM Radio
- Friends Music
- Gmail
- Google Bookmark Sync

Depends on the apps that you dont intend to use/dont use...Which apps that is out of your concern, just disable it but dont disable system related apps
Hey everyone!
Has anyone else started disabling some of the Samsung bloat? I've disabled these without any problems, so far:
Animated Photo
BlurbCheckout
ChatON
Google Play Games
Google+ (caused Hangouts and a couple other Google Apps to crash, but everything seems to be fine after a reboot)
Group Play
SNS (Not exactly sure what this is, but it uses the Facebook logo)
TripAdvisor
Twitter
Has anyone had any luck disabling anything else?
Thanks! Without being rooted I forgot the power of the general settings Application manager.
I just now switched off:
- Animated photo
- BlurbCheckout
- Businessweek+
- Dropbox
- ChatOn
- DropboxOOBE
- Gallery
- Google Play Books / Games / Music
- Google+ (after first disabling all the others I had no crash or anything)
- Group Play
- Hangouts
- PageBuddyNotiSvc (does not really Turn off)
- Samsung account
- Samsung Apps
- Samsung Apps Widget
- Samsung Go
- Samsung Print Service
- Samsung Push Service (does not really Turn off)
- SNS
- Story Album
- Story Album Widget
- TripAdvisor
- Weather Widget
- Yahoo! Finance
I wanted to Turn of (or remove) so much more, but this was a good start...

Gboard
Don't use Anti-virus and don't think you need one as long as you're not blindly installing apps
SDMaid and I don't think it's a placebo!
Nova Prime
Google Calendar
BetterBatteryStats and EX Kernel Manager battery info
Chrome
Android Messages (I hardly use SMS anyway so I didn't bother looking for alternatives) (WhatsApp is my main messaging platform)
Solid Explorer
Use my local bank's app for finance
Snapseed for photo editing
Don't use a video editor on my smartphone
Hope this helps!

Looks good. Accubattery is better for battery stats and the Samsung Internet Browser (really!) is the best browser. https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-internet-browser-android-793983/
For SMS's try this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.android.smsorganizer&hl=en_IN
It automatically segregates most of the transaction/spam sms into separate bins and does a good job of it.
Best calendar IMHO is Business Calendar 2. Interface is much better than Google Calendar, more customizable, and syncs with Google Calendar flawlessly
I've been using the Norton junk cleaner for system and such, and manually cleaning the cache for the apps that get bad. Does sd maid do app cache cleaning too? I see it works with root. Also, is it worth it to get pro? Tell me more please!
I personally like AppMgr III (App Manager 3) for System/Cache Cleaner and, especially (but not applicable for taimen), if you have a device that employs an external sd card...
