Well, I don't speak english very well but needed some help.
I've installed some games on my E-975 and played, but some bug caused the games' files to disappear, although stills consuming space in the internal memory.
Does anybody knows any way to clean that data? I've tried wipe data and cache, but the problem persists.
Also the "Android/obb" folder come back instantly after I delete it.
Thanks for everything.

You can't delete it coz you have no reason to delete it. Use any root file manager, I suggest you xplore. He tell you about your storage nicely.

Hi,
The problem is, that I cant install apps that are over 6mb. Sometimes updates just remove apps from my phone, just saying "not enough space". The best part is, that I have ~130MB on /system, and 1,5GB on /sdcard! It happens both on stock-based roms and FXP 133 (CM9). I just have no clue what to do.
Wiped dalvik cache, cache, formatted data and system, it just happens no matter what. After moving all apps to SD problem persists. What am I missing?
Xperia arc, FXP 133 anzu, with included kernel
Forgot to add: It's a fresh installation. Sometimes larger applications install properly. I had problems with Titanium Backup and Sygic.
Not sure but if you're moving apps etc. to your SD card you might need to clear up space or buy another SD card (i recommend 12 -16gb SD card)
If its stored in internal memory you might need to do the same and clear up space
Have you tried using another sd card just to make sure whether the problem is with your existing sd card or device?

It has nothing to do with sd-card, can u both read? Should I provide logcat?
EDIT: Sorry, I meant nothing offensive, I'm just too direct sometimes.
What else is there left to wipe, when /system, /data, /cache and dalvik cache has been purged? Apps simply download, install and then Google play gives notification about lack of disk space. It happens even, when I install apk's using ES File Explorer. Why can I install games larger than 15MB (no sd data, so it lands entirely in phone memory), and can't install 6MB Sygic? APK file is NOT corrupted, it works on my other phone. Market version is no good as well...
Same problem with me too, i tried to install Google Now (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818189) and it refuses to copy the files in the /system with the error "Not enough memory".
It was fine till i used Pureness ROM, but now i am on Jelly Sandwich.
When you install an app, there is two files, the apk and the corresponding odex file (same name than the apk, suffix is '.odex'). Sometime, when you play with restore, moving apps in system, odex them or changing rom without cleanup, the ".odex" file remains. Search for corresponding odex file in /system/app or /data/app and delete it.
When you save apps to internal they go into data/app not system /apps
check what space you have if needed save some gspps from internal to system by using app called links2sd free from play store.
Try cleaning the dalvik cache this is not the same as deleting the mentioned app can do this.
titanium backup can help with moving to system and cleaning to dalvik.
Also look in vendor/app there may be some issues there.

vendor/app holds one small file, it has sth to do with ringtones, so it's not that.
Before switching roms I always make a proper cleanup.
There is sth interesting about system app manager though, it shows that "19..." of internal storage is used and "183 MB" is free. Why are there three dots instead of MB, and why is it just 19? It looks like the dots replaced sth that doesn't fit inside of the text field (190MB?).
Why does it happen after cleaning everything, on fresh, "Out-of-the-Box" rom? I could understand it on Ice Bean (it started on that rom), it was 200mb+ stock-based rom, but FXP is just ~130mb! There should be plenty of space for app data.
EDIT: Wow, thats even more odd, I've just managed to install all the apps I couldn't! Like the problem was never there. It's weird and I still want to know what the hell was that, and make sure it won't happen again, as I have no time for X Files kind of things.
Thanks for feedback, so far.
Hey guys, I installed Omega Rom coming from Stock android ( 4.1.2 ) with my GNote2 and I was running it with RedPill kernel everything was running very smooth and my battery life was amazing, until I put my note in my computer with USB and I went to see the files in it. It said I had 2.5 gb left out of 10 gb!!. That is not possible I only installed Whatsapp and Facebook application so there must be something wrong. I looked and there was all the files of my phone but there was a folder called 0 and I opened it and there were the exact same files there as in the begin folder. So everything is like duplicated in the begin file and when i open that folder 0 the same files are there too. I think that is causing the extra gigabytes. I thought I could solve this by wiping to factory and wiping everything and I re installed Omega and this is still happening. I basically don't know what to do now.
Hi how many backup you made?

I made 1 backup before I even rooted the device. With titanium backup and I put it on my pc the backup BUT I haven't restored any backup yet. So i have no applications yet so that can't be the issue... I am really trying to understand what's the problem here because I really like this rom.
I have a problem with memory when i have 5 backup and it take 4GB and games on android- data or obb or gameloft.

I really need to solve this. Full wipe does not work...
Search in settings storage miscellaneous files or in other files.
What do you mean in settings storage?
Here, see where your memory is used.
I solved the problem. I just deleted the duplicate files that were in the Miscellaneous files and then reflashed the rom with full wipe again this time it did not add the extra files. Problem solved. Should I like close this topic now? or....
Hi all.
After trying to install some apps, I recieved messages regarding full storage, preventing me from installing the apps that I wanted, although I had over 200mb available under the app storage!
So I downloaded several cleanup apps and deleted some old apps, but still in the "other" section under app storage, there is 5GB of unknown data (screenshot attached).
I've tried finding out what eating my storage space using some disk mapping apps, but hasn't been able to find out what it is (when I map the app storage, it only shows the apps themselves and the free storage, and not the 5GB).
I'm guessing maybe some of it includes the system data, but didn't think that it will take that much storage space, and also if it is system data, it's weird to me that it's under the app storage section.
I also tried googling it up and looking it up in the forums, and I did find several people having the same situation, although no solution found.
Please note that I'm not rooted.
I would be really glad if someone knows what's causing this, and if there is a solution.
Thanks!
Try to backup your data and then restore to the default settings
Not really

This doesn't fix anything. This was also the advice of the HTC support. Unfortunately they also don't know that a factory reset will not clear that space.
Minimal "Other" will take a little under 5 GB. So don't reset for nothing.
Now i just rooted my HOX and still looking into this (playing with link2SD, might be a fix).
Apps are installed under /data and has a total capacity of 2.11 GB
I have the same problem on my phone. Any "fix" for this, other then factory reset?
(I have the latest update available, running stock os.
Help me !
I've gone back to UCUFNJ1 from CM11 using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att/general/ucufne4-to-ucufnj1-update-t2941792
Everything is working fine save from the little issue that I'm not being able to write to the internal storage. For example, if someone sends me a picture via whatsapp, the phone can't store it. If I use ES explorer and try to make a folder, I can't.
I've tried wiping everything, and problem persists.
Can you help me?
Did you format internal storage when you switched from cm to touchwiz? Not just a wipe for a clean flash, the format data where you have to type "yes" to confirm.
Permissions problems are not unusual when switching between cm and touchwiz, but typically touchwiz just refuses to boot up at all.

Yes, I have done that exactly, but not sure whats going on as I can't write to it.
I have restored my CM11 backup and I can write to it no problem.
What else can I try ?
Thank you!!
edit: Typo
You could try the fix permissions button in twrp.
I'm not sure that will help. Format internal in twrp was my goto for this sort of problem.
Ye I've tried that too.
Thanks!!
Hello
I install Lineage OS 14.1 to my Motorolla Moto G (1st gen, 2013) and faced the problem that i cant save anything at my phone. Then I installed Google Play Services and Google Play, to check how Market will install apps. After a few checks, I realized that:
I cant save screenshots
I cant install or update apps thats bigger then 50mb (error 190)
I cant save photos or videos
I cant download something from apps, except Google Market (cache, pictures, videos)
I cant create folder in the internal storage from PC or ES Explorer (but if I turn phone into recovery mode, I can do this)
Also I can install apk, but without cache
Do anyone has this problem or solution?
Looks like the installation was not completely clean. How about formatting data partition?

If you about formatting before installation, so I formatted all sections like data, cache, system and so on.
UPD: I tried to reinstall, but the problem remained.
Hi,
I am facing the similar problem. How did you fix this? Please help me with this. Thanks..
Lineage OS can't access storage
