A Fond Farewell - LG Optimus G Pro

Well it's been a great experience with the Optimus G Pro. As much as I loved my e980, I have decided to switch to T-Mobile and give it up for a Nexus 5. I want to thank everyone here for helping me and encouraging me in my endeavors to begin building ROMs. I hope you all get a ton of enjoyment out of your G Pros-I certainly did.
Best of luck with the future!

Thank You for the ride Sir!
Enjoy your N5!!!!

Just a friendly hello

Hello, I'm not all that new to xda or rooting. I just don't have much to contribute to the forums by way of help or development. I recently switched from "big red" to Sprint. I've owned three HTC devices, HTC Inc I and II and the HTC Rezound (all rooted) thanks to the good people here on xda. I am in love with my E4GT and am currently on Calkulin's E4GT 2 ROM v1.6 fe22 and loving it. Prior to joining xda, I've gained a lot of knowledge from xda and I guess now it's time to say thank you all for helping me outta my own messes. I only wish I had more to contribute in return. Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself to the community and say, thank you and hello. cheers

Welcome, everybody can contribute something via discussion and not being an ass.
No doubt. Far from that though lol. Just a guy who loves doing things with my phone that others can't/won't.

Amen to that. I travel the states quite a bit so I get to take advantage of 4G in some areas. But here in Indy...forget about it. Wifi at home of course.

Word of thanks to the developers

As the title says, I just want to thank all the rom developers for their amazing work that they have done in 2012. Without them my Gnex wouldnt feel so awesome!
Also thanks to the kernel developers! Not to forget the awesome modders
I and the entire Gnex community (right?) hope to see your amazing work in 2013 too, and hopefully better than 2012 works.

you're right... I'm struggling with a lot of my friends' LGs and Samsungs to find the better ROMs with good battery life... and it's hard.
Never ever had a problem with my Gnex with Xylon...
Good post mate i would also like to thank all rom developers, kernel developers, themers and modders for making my experience a good one when using my galaxy nexus

Allow me to reintroduce myself

Just an introduction:
Well, I have finally upgraded out of the ice ages and recently got an S3 thanks to a good friend. I used to have a samsung infuse4g and developed for that phone for a good part of the last year. In that year i feel that i have gained alot of knowledge and skill and met alot of helpful and intelligent people along the way. I am the developer/creator/maintainer for the BeanStalk builds and look forward to developing on for the S3. You can expect some s3 development being released from me in the following weeks. :good::good:
I look forward to meeting new people and developers in the s3 forums.

I remember my Infuse. It took so much flash abuse, but ultimately your builds were the best. Thanks for your work and I look forward to seeing what you have in store. Welcome
Whoa... Thanks guys. Hope i can make an impact in the S3 forums like i was able to with the infuse forums. Im not going to lie... I was already building for the S3 the first day i received it in the mail. The phone is absolutely amazing coming from the infuse... I love the infuse and itll always have a special place for me, but the S3 simply blows it out of the water... there is no comparing the two.
I'm sorry but when I saw the title I could only think of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI7sD0LsNEw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Joking aside, welcome to the forums! I ported beanstalk from your infuse to the cappy, so I know how awesome it is :highfive: I think you'll like it here.... Mostly

Once I unlock my bootloader, I will build Mahdi for this

Yup, a tip...
Asking for donations will put a bad taste in everyone's mouths.... Including the moderators eventually. ?
Enough said on the topic I'm sure.
Good luck with the port! ?

Build errors that I'm not sure how to fix.
It will come eventually, but when? I'm not sure. I'd give it 2 weeks max if I have time.
I was stoked to see and read through this thread, definitely looking forward to it
