I found some bugs in this Rom. First in a call the screen turned off but then turned on and in an second turned off again. The other bug is in expand the screen, I mean in immersive mode. Some times the screen blink.

Is there mode tablet in this Rom?
I´m on 2014-01-14 Nigthly an found a bug, too!
Bluetooth music streaming isn´t working well. If the screen turns off the music is stuttering, but when I turn on the screen, everthing is okay.
So I think this is a Kernel related issue. Maybe the Screen Off Frequency is set to low
well this is nice. but a few bugs indeed regarding BT.
So I flashed a Kernel without a recovery included. What can I do to get another customer recovery installed now that I'm on this rom?
Great work, just got my ZL and ready to rock! I love this phone, last sonys I had where the Xperia Arc and Xperia S, where I followed this Dev and loved his AOKP roms! Keep up the great work glad to see you here!
Thanks

Download one of the latest cm11 builds to your comp. Extract the boot.IMG. Then hook up your phone to your computer in fastboot and "fastboot flash boot boot.IMG" from the location of the boot.IMG and fastboot on your computer.

Does this ROM not show the LTE icon? I'm on a C6506 model and LTE icon showed up perfrectly on stock based ROMs. Now I only get the "4G" logo however based on Download speeds it appears to be using the LTE bands as I'm getting 40Mbps down.
Anyone able to confirm this? Is there a fix/workaround? My network settings are set to ATT .pta which is correct for LTE.

Im not too sure? I am using the latest CM11 nightlie and it shows the LTE logo as apposed to the 4G one...
If im not mistaken, I think OMNI rom also shows a 4G symbol instead of LTE.
Either way, 4G and LTE are supposed to be the same thing anyway, lol

Odin is the codename of the Xpeeia ZL. And yuga is codename of the Xperia Z. You should only be flashing the odin releases.

Some Times Playing Music lag
If you would like to use TWRP Recovery with this ROM, you can use this app to install it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...mer.twrpxperia
Also, this app allows you to come back to CWM if you don't like it. This app works on all custom ROMs (that have FXP-based kernel) and allows installation of TWRP to FOTAKernel partition.
Flashed todays nigthly. Nice to see doubletap2wake as a New feature! Keep up the great work!

I get LTE icon on my C6506 when I'm in an area with LTE. If you're using t-mobile make sure you have the right APN settings for LTE.
This Rom also has problems while playing music!

Question: Will the IR blaster and remote app work with any aosp variants? Do they require specific libs and drivers? Or.is it a.standalone app and sensor that just works regardless? That's the coolest feature of the phone, and the only reason I haven't left stock. Sorry if it's a.dumb question. Lol

I realise that is the "most awesome" feature of this phone, and already bin4ry and FXP have done some work to make the libs and apps work with CM10.1
rest assured, it's not going to be neglected

Chameleon OS (or ChaOS for short) is a custom Android ROM that gives the user more control than they can experience on any other Android ROM. Starting with a CyanogenMOD base, we customize each piece to give ultimate control while maintaining the simplicity we all love about Android. The most notable feature of ChaOS is the theme engine, which can apply different pieces of themes in a true mix-and-match style. The launcher has been completely overhauled with tons of options that you'd normally need to download a third-party launcher for, such as home screen previews, folder sorting, and folder icon styles. The Messaging app has also had some UI retouches, including messaging bubbles and quick emoji button.
The entire framework of ChaOS has been modified around the theme engine, allowing for custom fonts, boot animations (with animated preview), and themes. No longer do you have to try to find the perfect theme, with Chameleon OS you can patch it together with your favorite pieces from different themes. Messaging, Phone, Status Bar, icons, everything can be set completely individually from each other which provides the capabilities to completely re-imagine your phone. Creating themes for the ChaOS Theme Engine is superbly simple and has extreme versatility.
Even with all of the features we've currently implemented, ChaOS will continue to mature with even more refined settings and features. We will be completely open source and will welcome developers to join us, whether it be by maintaining a device or utilizing our gerrit review. Even if you're not a developer, your voice will not go unheard. We will continually poll our users for the most wanted features and do our best to implement them.

Thanks, looks interesting. Can't we install this with a dual recovery so not to screw up the camera functionality?
@Fedr0 did you read the post at all? The second line says you need an unlocked bootloader...

Needing an unlocked bootloader I was under the impression that doing so would break the camera, however in the OP it states that the camera not focusing is a bug ?
Does this suggest that the camera works after the bootloader is unlocked?

Well, the not focussing is the issue with the camera after unlocking afaik... And if you can't focus, it's pretty useless. So, unlocking still messes up the camera and it's not so much a bug of this rom but a bug/issue after unlocking.

I understand that but thought that unlocking made the camera not work altogether so how can it be working on this rom after unlocking is what i ment?
Thanks by the way.
The focus is what breaks. That's the way it is on all Roms right now, you get a picture, but it's blurred, because focus doesn't work.

No you can't. Installing a custom kernel (kernel modified in *any* way) requires the bootloader to be unlocked in order to be installed. Since all AOSP/AOSP-based/CM ROMs require a different kernel from the stock kernel you need an unlocked bootloader. You can flash the ROM, but it won't boot.

Looks promising. Keep up the good work!

Hello,
thank you for this ROM. It's performant and not overloaded with features. Battery seems better than usual but I can say more after a few days.
So to my problem:
Sometimes when unlocking the screen it does not respond to touches. I can bring up the shut down menu but not get any reaction out of it.
But the different ways to secure or do not cause it as it happens with any of them (didn't try face unlock).
That was on the latest release version, now on the latest nightly it does not occur as often, I will be able to say more tomorrow.
Please let me know if you need anything to analyse the problem.
I hope you can help me.
Best regards
Kai

As you said, you cannot have AOSP atm. I know the guys back on Xperia SP somehow managed to get AOSP without unlocking Bootloader, but you have to inform yxourself...
You can call your Provider and ask if he can change that configuration...

Latest nightly rocks but is there any fix for the Google play services wake lock?

Getting status 7 error when installing the official release.
Coming from unlocked bootloader, rooted Stock rom, and followed instructions as per OP.
Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to install some kernel/boot.img before following OP instructions of flashing the ROM?
You must delete the first few lines (starting with 'get.prop') in updater script. Then zip and flash again. Modify updater script with notepad++

The new official builds don't work properly. Google Keyboard force closes and back button does not work

It's awesome rom! It's AOSP rom like AOSP rom by STRYDER~007 but more better and comfortable. I installed AnyKernel2 , also installed supersu without problem. Only one day usage but without bags and reboots.

Here's a good place to start for CM12 themes.

****Please Understand that the CM12 Theme Engine is in its early stages and some things may not work or function as they should. Use at your own risk and don't complain about themes in this thread. Our Team has worked really hard to theme this ROM the way we like it....The CM team has to get their theme engine bugs worked out, we are just happy to have it in there to play around with for now.....ALSO, please don't ask us about anything to do with xposed framework as Validus does not support xposed. Use it at your own risk and please don't report ANY bugs you may encounter while using it.

Team decided to take out pie because not working correctly and kernel doesn't have dt2w.. Its in the rom but kernel doesn't support it.. The feature list is a generic list for the team.. Sorry

Its a CM issue.. Happens on my other devices as well.. Hopefully will be fixed soon.. Possibly with 5.1

Yeah that worked, thanks.
I saw a couple other things. This first one might be a CM bug, BBS says WiFi is using battery even though WiFi is turned off. Second the the font is black for the options.
I don't have that problem with WiFi. The team knows about the black text.. Not that big of an issue.. Concentrating on 5.1

What do you mean with network switching? When its changing from E to H to LTE ?

Yes. It gets stuck on the network which you used on previous ROM. Like, if I was using stock and had my network set to E, no matter what I do on Omni ROM, it remains on E. And if I was using LTE on my previous ROM, It remains on LTE on Omni.

You can't switch networks let's say you had it on 2G on the previous ROM, it persists and you can't switch to any other network. If it's on LTE it won't switch to any other and so on. Basically network toggle in Settings and via *#*#4636#*#* are unresponsive

So..what exactly is the difference to hernas build here? Does OTA work with this ROM?
OP, are you the orginal device maintainer? Just a curiosity

Please test it with this ROM for me it changes automatically from H to LTE and also from E. Worked for me very good (live in a town with E and H/+) and switching works fine. But I am on 230 Baseband

will this have selinux enabled and working?
Also why weekly and not nightly via the official Omnirom route?Omnirom has its build servers/delivery system for officials. Only that way its official right? The whole ota system is also set up for that. Why divert from official route? I dont understand.
