yes its compatible as of now. why? it went to Open source as for today meaning it can be easiy ported if there's a dev. since ICS came to mini and went smooth with the combination of GIO's, maybe we can ask them to help us. motafoca is working on CM7 and pratyush on ICS but still halfway.

What things to mod brand new Galaxy Nexus?

Hello, XDA members I'm newbie in developing android phones and I know nothing about rooting, flashing, adding kernels and putting ROM on new Galaxy Nexus GSM phone.
So, any experience member please help me by providing the links that you think are the best for my phone. There are so many rooting threads which one is easiest and reliable for my phone? I like Paranoid Android ROM but don't know what thing I should do before adding this ROM. I request you guys please support me. I will be very thankful to you.

You should watch some YouTube vids of the ROMs you are interested in to see how the ROMs function before flashing them. This can help you select the right ROM for you. I am an aokp ROM lover. Codename isn't bad either. Have fun!

Is the PAC man ROM for the toroplus, maguro, toro, crespo etc etc etc?????

Thanks boss.....I am pretty sure I did that and usually on goo.im it will say which it is for but there is only one d/l i am seeing im going to check again.....I just wanted to ask: is there universal ROMS.....(ex. a developer only makes one rom but it is hybrid on ALL devices, it just has to be flashed, cache cleared, etc) I have read extensively about Android Rooting for a good year now, and I have NEVER seen something like that so I basically am answering my own question, but maybe I am wrong........

no there are no universal roms for the gnex.. you have to check if they are maguro or toro, and then flash the one that you have

It is for the gsm gnex I am currently in communication with the developer and I have a beta to test for the Verizon variant of the ROM. It cannot be released without testers though so if you know someone with the Verizon gnex and wouldn't mind testing the ROM just have them pm me. I have the ROM link. There will also be a toroplus version soon also.

whats going on did the the dev or devs ever port PACmann for toro plus??? I see team syence is that official or a port of a port got a topic/question for senior members and android rooting gurus..... Which ROM do you guys prefer and for what reason..... Jbsourcery4.3, paranoid android(latest builds) and for what reasons.... And would PACman ROM even compete with those two Roms.....? And those two ROMS r my preferences

Noticed there wasn't really any PAC builds for the toroplus. I just compiled one if anybody would be willing to test it as I don't have the device.

[Q] Rom porting for Maguro ???

Hello Friends and Developers
I have a Galaxy Nexus Maguro.
Instead of building a rom from source for maguro for eg building lollipop from CM sources, porting can also be done.....
So we can search similar devices for maguro and take their bug free roms and port it to our device so our device could also be bug free. It is logical that instead of building we port the rom and give credits from which device we took and to the person who ported the rom successfully without any bugs
The main bug in the camera and offline charging. So for that we can do porting isn't it ??
So can we do rom porting for maguro ???
