I have a tab t211, and I was wondering if anyone knows of an app to change the DPI system wide? The "font size" in the accessibility settings is not what I'm looking for, btw. I have used the "app settings" xposed module, it works great, but I want a system wide DPI change. Any app that can do this safely?

Post updating to UVMC6, I've tried changing my PPI via the build prop. I think 240 makes everything too big; ~213 is perfect. When making these changes, all the stock applications such as calculator, camera, email, and the like become distorted. However, the notification dropdown and SMS are just perfect.
Is there a way to change the PPI for most of the system and exclude applications such as those aforementioned?
Search for xposed installer apk and xposed app settings. These two allow you to change dpi per individual apps like the dialer.
It works on cm, but I've not tried on touchwiz.

So to clarify, I can keep my PPI at 213 via the build prop & whichever apps look distorted, I can change to 240 individually via xposed installer& xposed app settings?
Exactly
The homepage and app drawer look funny as well. It's probably my only reason I moved away from twiz, the limited grid size.
Hi, I would post this as a reply to the thread in the development section but don't have enough posts.
I have installed the P.A.C. rom (2013/08/16) on my ZL and it works great, I have been changing settings for dpi and have run into a problem.
After setting the dpi of the settings app to 380 with 720p layout the settings app looks great with 2 pane layout however I can now no longer access PAC settings (settings force closes). I guess this is because the DPI for this app is different...
Is there a way of resetting the dpi settings of an app without being able to access hybrid settings?
Is there another way of launching hybrid settings?
Regards.
Philip
if anyone else has this problem:
I figured out you can use the settings tiles from the status bar (second pane) or in the pie launcher settings tiles to change the dpi of the current app.
Reverted the settings app to its defaults and everything works fine again.
I am using rom toolbox to adjust my dpi to 380 and everything looks great except the dialer. I installed app settings through the xposed installer and set the dpi for the dialer, phone and contacts to 480, but it did not change. I hate that huge letting of stock 480 I will deal the dialer being of center no biggy but if someone could help set the dialer to 480 it would be awesome!
download 'app settings' enable it since its a xposed module, search for 'contacts' app, and set the dpi to 480, save it. and done.

Thank you very much! I am knucklehead sometimes I did all that and forgot to go back and check the check box.
I have been trying for a while to get the right per app dpi settings with Songza to invoke the tablet display, but it seems like every combination I try I get the app to force close.
I'm not sure if I need to install a specific tablet version of the application from the market or if I can make the right DPI changes in App Settings.
I've included in screenshot of the tablet mode as a reference. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi,with KK i used a xposed plugin called "app setting " can permit to change per app DPI,now on lillopop there is a way to change dpi for Every single app?
There an app on the market called texdroid it works good on the g3 but as far as per app goes
any way to have a tablet ui?
Texdroider chages dpi on whole System. No per app setting. No tablet UI possibilities. We have to wait for Paranoid implementing the per app dpi setting or for xposed running under lollipop...
i would really like to this as well but TBH dont know if we will ever be able to, Xposed would probably never get update for lollipop!
unless someone decides to build an independent app that can do this we are doomed to use the default ugly looking DPI.
another option is to use CM12, its set to use 560 dpi by default and it looks great and there are no weird looking apps there. the speed is AMAZINGLY FAST. the only downside for me is the camera quality, its not a sharp as the pictures in stock rom.
anyway lets cross our fingures for a dev to make such an app.
