Hi dev,
If I understood correctly, this version of pixel rom has Google apps installed? Is it possible to provide a version without Google apps and services? I am very eager to try this, but I'm looking to use a non-Google rom.
Many thanks

Ya! This is a non google ROM until you install gapps. You can surely try the ROM
Awesome
Wow you're awesome! Thanks so much for this, I was eager to get my hands on Kit Kat (and for that matter, anything 4.1+)
Some things don't seem to be working, but I don't need them because I had never seen them before:
the Dark Pixel option
Halo doesn't show up ever
DashClock FCs everytime.
I think I saw some more stuff, I'll be happy to report them if it helps you!
Anyway, so awesome
Even the ****ing font on this renders better than it did on Sony's custom ROM.

SIM card was not detected in your CM12 Unofficial. Also it had "Google Play Services" error. Tried Omni 5.1 and 5.1.1 both had Google Play services error but GSM was working fine. Will be trying checking this out now. If it's fast as ur CM12 port and non-buggy as Omini, I'll continue to use it as my daily driver...

I don't use Truecaller in any implementation, have no idea how anyone finds it useful.

Yes!! Finally thank you @arvinquilao will test it now. Does this require new Gapps 7.0 or something?
I can' t get past the setup wizard, I flashed Gapps 7.0 (32-bit??) and after the "Turn on cellular data" page it goes next to where you log-in using your google account, I then get the "Google Play Services keeps stopping".

Hey. I hate to ask but can you upload a flashable zip that's not locked to seed devices. As I'm using a Crackling device (GM4G Clone) and the first upload worked fine bugs aside.
Thanks

using this as my daily driver. pretty good so far!
Hi there!
First of all, thank you so much for your work!
But mobile data isn't working(at least for me). In the settings app, I always get the notification(screenshot attached to this post) that my data is turned off even if it's not. Once this is fixed, it'll work just fine as a daily driver.
Greetings!
EDIT: nvm, I just saw that my SIM wasn't set to use data automatically like it does with other ROMs. Sorry for bothering you.
can anyone please outline here the step by step procedure on how to root the CM android one g1? is there a root toolkit for the android one g1?
thank you.

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

WHY AOKP?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

is gyro sensor working?
gyro sensor has not been working in any of the 7.1.* roms, is that working with this rom ? if yes, then it will be the ultimately perfect rom for this device. without gyro sensor, pixel live wallpaper and vr based apps dont work. everything else is just fluid. :good:

This is a titanium backup. Extract the files and place them into "TitaniumBackup" folder in your SD card (this is default location) or place in the directory which you have selected for titanium backups. Use default one I told if you didn't change anything.
Backup made using titanium backup pro 8.0.0.
Use same version if error in restoring.
Uninstall any previous YouTube version.
"double tap to wake up" in (settings) and "hardware key wake up device" in ROM control app dont work
edit: everything is allright now.... i made a misstake during flashing

First of all, you're doing a great job - keep it up.
There is something essential that doesn't work.
I cannot add an account, like my google account.
If that can't be fixed, I need to go back to the previous version.

Which gapps package did you installed? I've tried MindTheGapps and was able to add a google account.
Sorry for the late reply, after installing mindthegapps via sideload I was able to add my google account. Unfortunately my apps weren't installed automatically, like in the stock rom. Now I have an old known bug with the microphone when calling via dialer. Cell phone directly on ear works great, but if I switch to loud speaker, the opposite person doesn't hear me. That is a problem in LineageOS since version with Android 10.

I don't have such problems. Maybe one of your microphones is damaged. Nothing new to sony devices.
No, it is not damaged - it's working normaly with stock rom.

Try using the second sim slot (IMEI 2) and reply if you experience the same issue.
Thank you for your advice but I went back to stock rom now - no such problems so far.

No, that's a proprietary sony thing and I don't want to put more proprietary blobs into the rom than necessary because it might break with future bringups.

New build from today uploaded
Hi.
Just upgraded to 20.0 beta yesterday. Seems "Wallpaper & style" and work on my ZX2P. It will close automatically without any error message.
Is it a known bug in this version?
Thanks.

Oh. Maybe I know the root cause.
I'm using wallpaper engine to set a video as my wallpaper before upgrade. After I use gallery app to set a picture as my new wallpaper to replace that video, problem resolve.
And I use wallpaper engine to make that video as wallpaper again, everything looks great.
Sorry to bother you.
First official build will be available tomorrow! I've already updated this thread so I don't have to do it later.
Hello , someone have problem with microphone while the call on speaker ?
