Pretty much.
After two attempts at theming it, I have declared it the worst written app on android.

It seems the only way to make it work, potentially, is to build a ROM around it
just use m.facebook.com
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium
it seriously is the worst refutable, if you can call it that, app
The app is so freaking slow, you are probably better off with out it opening.
Maybe after the IPO Facebook will have enough money to afford to have someone fix it.
The annoying part is that the iOS app works flawlessly. No love for Android :-(

+1 for m.facebook.com. terrible terrible app. Of course, just like Spotify, Android takes a back seat with the devs. Anyone know why this is? I would assume with Android being more widely used they would at least try to make the android apps functioning.

I have an iPad and use the Facebook app,; trust me, its crap on that, too. It loads a little better than the Android app, but it kicks me out the application constantly. The teams in charge of the mobile apps are doing a poor job.

I upgraded to the Galaxy Nexus a little while ago and am officially decommissioning my Droid Incredible 2 (but I'll still keep it as a backup just in case). I won't have time to root it until this weekend, but once I do, I look forward to sharing my ROM flashing adventures with you guys. And with the sheer number of ROMs available for this device, it looks like I'll be in flashaholic heaven.

I noticed that when I first got the phone and was running a stock rom. Doesn't seem to be an issue when custom roms.
Also, if you haven't unlocked your bootloader yet, remember to back up the important stuff because it will wipe everything.

I would rather have a user post a stupid question and learn how to do something the correctly than to have them be worried and screw up... Everyone's gotta start somewhere - none of us just magically knew how to do all of this.
Anyways, enjoy your new phone! When I got mine, the very first thing I did was unlock, flash TWRP and install AOKP. ^_^ Coming from a locked Droid X2, this is like heaven to me.
Me too! Came in the mail today as well. Have you tried wallet yet? I had a S3 and I never could get wallet to work. That's what prompted the nexus.

It was already installed when I received the phone. I have the gsm version. If you're on Verizon, I think there is a way to get it installed. Check out the galaxy s3 forum for instructions. Just a note, I followed the instructions there before I returned the s3 and wallet never worked.

I'm on rooted stock. I've tried yours and many others settings and it just doesn't work correctly. The results of the recorded videos are stuttery with dramatic loss of frame rates. It doesn't properly record when I'm swiping the homescreens or any other app.

The problem is with the GS3 units regardless of where the app is coming from. I haven't tested the paid version but the free one from the app store.
There has been many ppl with problems that were using the paid app.
Can you confirm that you are using it successfully on your GS3.
Thanks

They will update it to work on the nexus7. It is a nice launcher but it's beta right now and more features will be added. I got it on my htc droid DNA and it's nice but still a little buggy. I purchased another launcher, it is nice, its called SF Launcher. You can search for it in google playstore and it works well on my nexus7 and htc droid DNA.
