Hey guys,
sorry for making a new thread but i can't post in development forum at the moment.
My problem now is that my HOX doesn't recognize my SIM Card after flashing this build http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49258404&postcount=610 from @scotte9999
I did a dirty flash, just wiped cache/dalvik cache.
Should i maybe try a clean install or is there a better solution?
Greets Adrian.

After I updated my htc one x to jelly bean, my phone became hotter than before and the GPS keeps on.
How to fix it???
Try to make a factory reset in bootloader.... But make sure to save all content from sd card because the complete phone will be reseted only the software itself k
Keeps on the rom but it often fixes those problem

A factory reset from the bootloader will not touch the sdcard
Mine was touched xD nothing was on the phone only the system

Hmmm I did it while I had hboot 0.95 or so maybe was an issue.... But ok I don't do this factory reset only via custom recovery

I am sure this has been covered before but I need to ask a question regarding the odexed 4.18.401.2 image, boot image and recovery image. After I download those from Mike's links is there a particular order in which they need to be flashed my phone is relocked and always in fastboot so I can't copy to sdcard. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
You need custom recovery at first try philz recovery ...then also erase the cache in fast boot...should all work

need to unlock bootloader first
Thanks

Thanks again, not wishing to be a pain just need to get the steps right so I don't screw it up.
Unlock the bootloader then
Falsh Philz recovery.img for the htc one x then
Do I lock the bootloader again or leave it unlocked before I flash the odexed.img then the boot.img?
No problem to help you. Just leave the bootloader open, to avoid confusion.

Thanks again, much appreciated, so this will bring me back to stock 4.22 sense 5 ROM so I can receive, if any, OTA updates?
I am used to rooting Samsung and flashing ROMS so easy but HTC seem to have a different approach, I simply did as I did with my old Samsung and soft bricked my HTC lol. Doh!
They aren't the same phones so you can't do that... And yes so you can get back to stock for the ota

Hi hope someone can help. I have an htc one x currently flashed with carbon rom nightly build from 22nd. The rom will not detect the internal storage, if you go into settings just says 0kb available. I have tried to format the card to see if this helps but it doesn't. This means that the camera does not work.
Also if I create shortcuts on the home screen and then reboot the phone, the shortcuts disappear.
Did a clean full wipe, changed rom ?

It's a kernel problem of Rom..flash a custom kernel or a kernel from another kitkat Rom...if still persists change Rom...I had issues too but kernel change solved it

Haven't changed the ROM but CWM can see the storage OK so its not hardware. Have wiped and reinstalled twice with the same issue.

Ok thats great, ill have a look. But still not sure how I can get them across since I cannot see my SD card when the device is connected to my computer, or see any of the files or folder on the device.
Mount the sdcard inside the recovery and check from there. If that's oke you can also copy it

When connecting it via USB even in CWM it does not see the SD Card. Would it be better to flash another rom (thinking CM11) via fastboot.
Sorry for the delay, been away.

You can't flash the Rom via fastboot

You also need the proper adb drivers as they aren't the same in aosp roms like in sense roms...they are a bit different so you need to update them...there is also a thread in general section from and123 where he linked some drivers...

Ok but still not sure how to progress as cannot get anything onto the SD card. Also couldn't find the kernels that you mentioned further up in the thread in the developers forum.

Original development forum -.- there are some kernel threads!! And for sd card I said update the driver..if you still using carbon with it's stock boot.img it won't work if you have access to phone itself like Rom is booting download there the kernel and maybe another Rom if you want...man it's all so easy you are making it yourself hard

So I made my own USB OTG, and it works perfectly, but for the first time only. plugging it the second time gets me no response, no mount dialog appearing or anything else that could tell me whether the sdcard i plugged in mounted or not. however, after a reboot, it works perfectly, but just for the first time.
i hope somebody can help because my storage is nearly brimming and i want to transfer stuff to my sd card, which is btw a SanDisk class 10, 32 GB
Also for you...provide more information....which Rom, which kernel ...
