I have a Google nexus i9250. I have unlocked the phone, i root it and have installed 4.3 Jelly Bean Rom. Today i tried to update to CM11 4.4 Custom rom but i have deleted everything in the phone via custom recovery. Now the phone is empty and it doesn't open. It stucks at google logo. I rebooted the phone into stock recovery mode and i tried to install again various roms via sideloader but I CANT INSTALL ANYTHING BECAUSE it says "signature verification failed".
what can i do????
Thanks!!!!!
Try entering in bootloader (vol up+down + power) and flash with fastboot a custom recovery. After that you get your adb sideload.
The command is fastboot flash recovery ā¢imagenamehereā¢.img
Dowload latest TWRP and copy it on the folder where fastboot is (usually platform-tools dir).

Hi all,
I've S-OFF my HTC Desire with revolutionary and all is working as expected, recovery and custom rom (ICS). But I'm very interested to have a touch recovery (like 4EXT). I've tried to install by using the provided application, and all seems installed correctly, but when I tried to switch back on recovery, (vol down, then recovery in the menu), I get HTC logo during 1 sec, then back in the menu. I've reinstall a working recovery with revolutionary, but it seems that I cannot change my recovery anymore.
I've also tried to install the official Clock Mod recovery, but I get exactly the same result.
Is there a way to change the recovery image after using Revolutionary to root and S-OFF my HTC Desire?
Thanks
Olivier.
Try to flash a recovery image manually using android flasher or adb.
via xda app

You cant flash a recovery image via adb. You can only flash a recovery image via fastboot.
OP should read the adb and fastboot faq available via my signature.
Hi all...I've been searching all the forums and support groups for the issue I'm having...I tried to install JB rom, and I lost SU. I thought of flashing SU.zip file from recovery after I booted into JB rom, and to my surprise my device doesn't go into recovery mode..
I tried reverting to stock but no use...whatever I do in fastboot mode, I keep getting error saying "data transfer failure (data too large for the defined data type))"...someone please help...my phone is literally of no use now..

Download latest USB Drivers for Fastboot mode...
Flash Galaxy nexus factory image via Fastboot (on Windows), maybe then works..
if not then try to flash via odin..
have you unlocked your bootloader..?
Hi, I'm new to android rooting and flashing stuffs. I have Asus Zenfone 2 16gb version.
My frnd rooted my device and installed superSU (something like that) but the xmod app was not working, so my frnd gave me this Kingo root apk he told me that it will work. so I installed that kongo root..it says some files needed to be fix, so I presses ok..after the prosecco is done, I reboot my phone..but it stuck in loading. after that I'm finding solution to boot it back normally. I tried flashing new firmware which I downloaded from the asus website, but It failed in 48%, some one told me to flash TWRP recovery, so I flash TWRP recovery from adb sideload, after that I was not be able to go in recovery mode. I press for recovery mode...my phone restarts and again loads the fastboot or bootloader screen. after that I tried to flash other recovery image. but still I cant go in recovery mode. PLEASE HELP!!
You should not flash custom recovery with a lock bootloader. Unlock your bootloader first.
You dont sideload a recovery img. Go to bootloader, then enter this adb command
fastboot flash recovery (name of recovery image) .img
PS. Xmod dont work on intel based android processor. Correct me if Im wrong, Ive read that a long time ago.
Recovery is gone after boot unlock, twrp install attempt.
I tried to instal TWRP before unlocking the bootloader, it failed so i tried uaing the official Asus unlock tool and the twrp again it still fails.
Now i cannot access recovery at all, it just reboots into fastboot. I choose recovery but dead android never shows up. Just fastboot again.
How can i flash the original recocery back?
I have tried through adb (failed) and using the microsd card (flash does not start, just reboots to fastboot) method.
Otherwise the phone works as normal.

Definitely fail unlock bootloader, splashscreen should be white after unlocked bootloader.

After it reboots into Fastboot use your volume rocker to navigate it to Recovery. When the screen goes black, press power and Volume up and when you release volume up it will take you to stock recovery.

Along with an unlocked bootloader you Need USB debugging turned on. Then while you're in bootloader use 'fastboot flash recovery (IMG file) ' to flash your recovery

Success!
i didnt have the recovery.img file
downloaded it and flashed through ADB ( after disabling my screen lock or you get "permission denied")
i can now get back into recovery.
thanks very much. been battling with this for a week.

Hey all,
i had an older version of twrp recovery, and tried to flash the new one from here:
https://eu.dl.twrp.me/dumpling/
i opened poweshell from adb folder as usual while device is on fastboot mode, and used the command: fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-0-dumpling.img
It said "wrting...finished" in powshelll, but when entered recovery - nada, black screen of death.
then i tried flashing older version of twrp in the same way - and still go the same outcome =\
I currenly dont have ROM as well - so practically the phone is uselss. please guys, i need you're help!
Flash stock recovery and stock FW via ADB. If that doesn't work, try one of the dozen recovery tools on this forum.
Tried to flash OrangeFox and BluSpark recoveries, same issue =\
im running out of ideas here guys =(
Just managed to install stock recovery, and downloaded latest 9.0.10 OTA from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/official-oxygenos-4-7-2-7-1-1-ota-t3709265
used LAA on adb.exe, and ran "adb sideload OOS.zip" while OTA zip is inside adb folder.
gives me "cannot read" error in powershell.
can someone tell me WTF is going on? how tf its even possible????
