download recovery update recovery_20131210.tar
then you must restart the phone in Download Mode, connect it to the PC by inserting the recovery in ODIN PDA and disable AUTO REBOOT option, once you finish the installation process, read PASS in green, disconnect the cable and you'll pull the battery on the phone. What prendes pressing Vol + / Home Button / Power
and Wala! already have ... Greetings
I only installed one cwm that was by pawitp with selinux support.....and that worked for me for omni rom..n so for latest k2wl rom

So basically here's the back story, I downloaded cwm for my friends galaxy grand i9082, and I flashed it in odin, I did everything but for some reason the flash failed at "nand write start" and now all I can do is either go into download mode or, if I just press the power button, it goes into kies emergency firmware recovery mode. I really don't know what to do, is there any way to fix this without connecting to kies?? And if I have to to the emergency firmware recovery will it erase all the data on the phone?? Please help!!

PS. I was using Odin 3.07

This could have happened because of communication problems or driver problems, usually this happens when your device get disconnected during the process.
Or you try to flash Philz Recovery via Odin..Go tho this link and download the latest http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/i9082
If you can successfully install this recovery(any CWM recovery), you can boot back in..
If that fails,
Download the original stock firmware for GT-I9082 and flash it via Odin. (I recommend dont go for the latest build of JB 4.2.2)
Hi all i was on custome rom i'm back to stock rom i want just to make a root for my rom 4.3 i make the same steps to flash custome recovery and flash a root file but when i flash recovery via odin and open it i just see a official recovery not philz recovery i tried many times but same result ! Go to this site http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/n7100
and download the md5 file. Put your phone to download mode and flash it via odin. Then you will have philz custom recovery installed.

Same happened for me. Use another USB port and disable your Antivirus program. And if that don't work then try flashing with another pc.
