Can i flash any other stock rom of 988 on my E980? Will it work if i installed BB of E980? I want to try Indian stock rom.

I have also tried other roms. I have tried the e980 rom on my e986 and it didnt work(it worked but i couldnt call and send message) then i tried e988 rom, the sam problem.

Havent done it myself but i am pretty sure you can , you just have to flash BB for your device after flashing the rom to get the calling working

I do not understand you ,, all apps work fine and everything work fine
Only ,, No Service Network
Were you using android 2.3.6 (gingerbread or GB) before you put on the custom ROMs, or did you have 4.1.2 (jelly bean or JB), it would help to know

So you changed from a custom GB rom to a Custom JB rom maybe you should try to flash an official JB rom for exemple MG2!

Search around for it, there will be a guide somewhere on this forum. And if you don't know how to do that, I recommend you don't even bother, you need to know what you are doing before you do this sort of thing. Do some research

No, download mg2 and use a guide to flash it via odin on the pc, dont flash it like you would with a ROM

kondition my OG root plus unlock and instaled TWRP. should i instal CWM recovery too.

This is the wrong section but just a general tip, some roms here only work on CWM. So yeah flash CWM and try If u need further help u can pm me

I have a stock rom 4.1.2 and I want to install a 4.3 costum rom, but I not sure what to download most are for Lg optimus E975. I think that my phone is the same with E975 but I am not sure.
If someone could help me to tell what to download and install to my phone??

hi, i'm think your phone is the same at e977 - e975 - and f180s because i use custom roms e975 and f180s in my e977 and works.

Down load this tool " docs.google.com/file/d/0BymXcmDRZdl9OHVTcTNpYkI5QU0/edit?usp=sharing". after download it, extracted it to a new folder.
Open Multi_Tools.bat. And hit 1 to root your phone
After you had your phone rooted. Hit number 3 to unlock bootloader.
After Unlock bootloader, you now have a custom recovery (CWM).
Download whatever E975 rom that you want to ( include gapps maybe, if you want to flash CM, AOKP, MIUI rom). Copy it to your phone sd card.
Go inside app drawer and choose app rebooter. Click to " recovery reboot", it will enter to CWM custom recovery.
Flash your rom. That's it.

I have F180s. I up rom e975.kdz. afterthat I install CWM, flash pac_rom4.3,gapp and kernel. But when I reboot, it's brick LG logo,error boot.

Just flash any e980 based roms and flash the indian Baseband zip file.
Just make sure u r using the lokified cwm recovery. This can be installed with the help of freegee app.
Vanir, cm11, slimkat etc are the choices u have got. Happy flashing. :thumbup:

Hello frnds, can anyone give me AT&T Kernel to flash? Currently I'm using G2 rom V5.. and i flashed one kernel after the rom and it is giving me very bad battery drain..
I'm losing almost 10% every hour so i thought of flashing the stock kernel once again. I don't want to flash the while kdz file . Can anyone help me?

Did you try with "E980 Baseband.zip"?
When i had flashed The G2 based rom, i had flashed with E980 baseband as it was mandatory. U flashed the kernel after a day or so. And I'm not having good battery backup... 8-10 hrs max .

I've heard from several people flashing the e980 baseband/modem does not work with cwm.. is this the case with all recoveries?
I didn't find any problem at least with CWM.. I could flash it easily. :thumbup:

I re flashed G2V5 and E980 baseband but the battery prob persists. :banghead:
I guess there is some problem with the battery.. and i can't get a replacement as I'm using an AT&T unlocked one that too in India.. Anyway, I'm gonna get the 9300 Mah battery for my LGOGOP soon.
