[NAND] Stock India 2.24.720.1 (NEW LINK)

This is a TWRP Nand backup that i made of a Fresh Stock Indian 2.24 ROM .
I am sure many are looking for this .. there in no RUU available for this yet .

after the download is complete Extract and place all the files into TWRP/Backups folder restore from TWRP
edit :the Stock Boot.img and recovery.img needed are now attached to this post :angel:

This a good thing from you that may help a lot of Indian ROM user. Just need the stock boot.img and recovery.img, then every one can go back to stock at anytime. And they are available somewhere in Q&A section I think.
I'm not an Indian ROM user but I tested your Nand backup... yes, it works even on my device with cid htc_044

in the sd card root the path is : sdcard/twrp/backups/sh266tv00090/cm10
my question is, can i make a folder just like "cm10" in the same path n copy the contents n go to recovery to restore the nandroid flash like normal?
also the kernel and the recovery ...
the kernel - i have to flash through fastboot ryt?
but what about the stock recovery ? should i flash it compulsory ? can i stay with twrp ?

Stock Recovery is only needed when you want to return to stock completely.
But if you want have a stock ROM and root it later, then stay on TWRP and install CWM-SuperSU-v0.98.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053).
You also can flash Titanium-KISS kernel for OC/UV if you want to... so you will have a rooted stock ROM with OC/UV.

you can only use the Tamil Keyboard .. the menus and other things are in english only that is how HTC has made it

what cpkv5 means is you can root this By flashing the SU zip from the link and u can use a Custom Kernel Like KISS if u want to over clock
to do that u need to keep the custom Recovery TWRP and not flash the recovery.img from the first post

i mean how to get to the tamil keyboard..................

When the keyboard is open drag the notifications and press choose input method . You can see HTC Indic keyboard . Choose that

I flash the whole with the given procedure but unable to boot my phone, it stuck on "HTC quietly brilliant" screen, Also flash both "boot.img & Recovery.img" also cleared cache... but not booting...
my previous Rom is Team Venom ViperX 2.7.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745176&page=1046...
Please provide me solution.
Also please suggest & guide for best JB Sense Rom for CID__038..

This is One V files and your device is One X ...
Look in One X forum for your RUU and there is OTA for JB Sense for cid_038

[Q] Bricked Kernel Stuck

Hello guys, I'v tried to install Bricked kernel core but stuck on the HTC logo -(( any other cores goes well.... Pls help me to solve this problem
My actions:
1)fastboot flash boot
2)Install .zip from recovery.
adb name check (adb shell uname -a) shows "Name not found" -((
OS 4.04 Stock FW v 2.17 Sence 4.1

On wich rom and wich bricked kernel, there are 2 bricked kernels. One for sense roms and one for aokp/aosp roms

And also did you repack bricked boot.img with the one of your ROM?

yes, I'v used stock kernel (due to I'm using stock ROM) but no effect

Just a thought here, download the latest faux kernel and flash the boot.img and flash the .zip
See if the phone boots......

Faux kernel goes well, I'v wrote about it earlier...

Don't see where mate ... otherwise i would have not asked, i only see you used stock kernel
Edit 1 : ah you talk about cores......my eyes only check for the word : kernel
Edit 2 : I've seen reports of not booting in the thread a while ago, you can try to get your hands on the 0.6 or 0.5 and try again

oh, really =)) Sorry mate mb I need custom ROM or it supposed to go well on Stock ROMs?

I edited my post ! Well it should work on a stock rom otherwise the other custom kernels would also fail, they are all based on the stock kernel from one point .....

I want to install SVHD v1.3.0 rom in my htc desire hd.i hv got my boot-loader unlocked by htc dev method.So In case of installing a custom rom,i need to flash hboot.img through fastboot...and i always successfully get my rom installed.
but the problem is that the flashing of this rom has a step called Aroma Installer.
I would like to know that can i install rthis rom with my earlier method...

yes, of course you can
after flash boot.img by flashboot command, you can flash the rom
during install rom you will get into aroma-installer to choose your setting and extras

I'm assuming you mean boot.img. Yes, that's fine. AROMA is just part of flashing the ROM itself. It won't affect whether you can flash the boot.img later.

You've got to flash the ROM first, then the boot.img.

How to install SVHD 1.3.0 from Jellytime ( r7 )
Hi !
I want to ask how can i install SVHD v1.3.0 rom from JellyTime ( R7 ) . I have 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.4 RC3 .
Sorry for this stupid question , but I just bought my dhd yesterday , Htc is something new for me ( my previous android phones was always Samsung )
and there in the svhd thread was no instruction , so i don't wanna guess how to instal this great rom correctly
P.S.
Why zip file has 407 ( ! ) mb ?

The same way as Samsung, just wipe and flash from recovery.

Ok , thank you , i found tutorial and i think link to it should be attached , but isn't 407mb too large for flashing by recovery ?

I have no idea; I never used that ROM.

i guess if in dev thread all write positive feedback it have to work , i'll try , if sth go wrong i always have nandroid backup

It works when you are following tutorial from teamandroid website but when my htc dhd stucked on black screen ,when i typed after all steps
in cmd.exe "fastboot reboot", my heart started to beat 3x faster but all i needed to do was just unplug battery ( act of desperation ) and finally i booted into recovery and flashed , luckily it works

Why the zip file so big?
I guess it contain the new sense version that it's really a monster.

it has taken the phones music experience to a next level.Its has got beats driver for diif. type of headsets.SRS , DOLBY <HTC 5.1,,,and lot more.

I Wish i could say this but i am a Microsoft Technology Specialist but no JACK about HTC can someone send me a good walk through on how to do this i have 10 phones to do for work and think i promised something i cant do

[Q] Wake up/Sweep2wake VIPERX

Hi fellas,this is my first post here,im using viper x 4.06 on my hox,and i eneabled the function to wake up with volume button,but this works sometimes and sometimes not!, after a long sleepy time,doesnt work,you know why? is there a way to have the sweep2wake on sense? or something similiar ? i dont wanna use an app for this,but if it neccesary..Also y tried some aosp roms to have the Sweep2wake function but linaro rom and domination heated too much my phone,maybe there is a aosp rom you can recomend me! Thanks for everything and sorry for my poor english!

If you don't know what a kernel is you need more then a link mate, check in the android dev section and check for the Alex V thread. It's not that hard.

Yes it does work on ViperX - if you can install that you can install AlexV

if you have the kernel.zip ? flash the desired boot.img from the zip and install the .zip file via the recovery.

I ve done that,but meybe you can help me with something else..i already have s2w on my hox,i flashed the boot.img with alex V kernel,but i dunno how to activate dt2w,i flashed the correct boot.img,but dt2w is not by default...

information about my phone: 1.unlocked 2.s-off
but I don't know how can I install Roms in my phone !
I saved zip file in Sd card but in fastboot it does'nt work(I don't know what can I do in this part) !

Would u explain more ?
When i flash recovery and install roms i'll have problem with roms
for example : when i install some apps they don't work ! and phone will crash !!!
and...
what about kernels and gaps ? they need flash too ?
