Just wanna say did a nandroid, superwipe, installed and waited 15 mins. No problems outside of the known (Orientation Switch ftw).
Its super smooth, battery life is similar to TDJs ROMs and i love chrome beta. Raver did a great job.

You know what? I did that, and it's actually what led me to ask the question. I tried IgCamera and QuickSnap, but neither worked. I believe you're right about there likely not being one. Not only is the current camera normally functional, but the issue we're having with our "beta" ICS is certainly not anticipated by developers of this kind of app.
I am not omniscient, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask in Q&A.

You are the man (or woman...)! That pretty much makes this ROM complete for me (at least until the final community releases)
I wonder if there's any chance of one of the first posts being modified to include a list of known bugs and workarounds/fixes?
Edit: Video still won't record, but I'll at least have the still camera. If no one else has, I'll see if I can get some logcats linked on the Dev thread.

As you all know, the gallery is a little screwed up. I found a nice replacement for free in the Google Play Store. It's called QuickPic.

This rom is pretty freaking great. can't really judge battery since I've only had it since about 6 this morning but super smooth and no big issues.

Thanks for camera zoom that works perfect. dont have the gallery problem so far. so you rock.

I've have the issue, tried clearing all cache and fixing permission to no avail. I'm sure it's happening for the same reason the camera is having the issues. It's due to the kernel. I'm sure there us a 3rd party app we can get, so no biggie.

turns crap earbuds into sex.
although, I can't seem to find the DSP effects.

What would be the best way to flash this rom? Should I use superwipe? How many times? I've heard some people have to flash several times. And I also saw somewhere that it wipes all the data on your internal and external storage. This can't be true.

i hacked in the eq effects from the htc resound how is this diffrent from the htc resound crap hack that was posted earlier?
Because i did it from there Ics and the htc source

"Flashed:
[1] Made TB of all apps
[2] Rebooted in CWR
[3] Nandroid backup
[4] Wipe Data Factory reset
[5] Wipe Dalvik Cache
[6] Flashed samsung_ultimate_kernel_cleaning_script_by_lippol9 4

[9] Reboot Phone
[10] Let sit about 10 minutes after reboot was fully done

Hope that helps some. My install steps are very excessive but I have done those steps on all roms and never had any issues."

yeah im a bit confused about this also.
where is the dsp Eq? is it not an app anymore?
is it built into a specific player, or do they work with any app's built in eq?

Is anyone looking at WiFi tethering?
It stops working the moment you turn the screen off. Immediately starts working again if you turn it back on.

call microphone and speaker problem
have an issue with my m8 .. cyanogenmod 11 everytime i call ,, the the speaker and the volume is maxed but i cant hear ,, the person that im talking .. my question is ? is this already fixed ?? and am i the only one experiencing this .

Is anyone else on Verizon having huge issues with MMS on the latest M build? They get stuck on "sending" for quite a while until I reboot and just destroy my battery.

Quick question about this ROM, has nothing to do with the conversation over.
But the camera app on CM, is that the standard cm camera app, or is it the same as stock HTC? If not, is there a way to install the HTC camera app? Love CM, but also the HTC camera and gallery/edit functions

Can't have the best of both worlds unfortyunitely...

Really loving this rom but my only gripe is that the camera is sooooooo bad on this rom. It always looks blurry. Is this a common problem?

I searched the CM11 thread and it appears that there is for case support in CM11. I just can't seen to find the option. I saw that it is in the ROM somewhere but I can't find an application or a setting. I am on the latest Nightly. Anyone know where it is? Thanks!

Hello all,
I'm currently on CM M11 and I'm having trouble with the double tap to wake feature. I was on nightlies a few days ago and also had the problem. Does this problem exist on M10 or on some old nightlies? Just wondering if I can find a CM build that doesn't have that problem.

Reboot and it will fix. It's a pain but that's what I do

Google search the oneplusone cyanogen camera apk. That one works great. I'll see if I can find link.

APN issues
I'm still having the "No APN specified" problem on my Verizon HTC One M8. Happens on stock messenger, happens with Hangouts. When I look at my APN settings under Hangouts, I have settings for Metro PCS and Sprint. None for Verizon.
For what it's worth (probably nothing), I am using the latest TWRP recovery, ART, and the Good Stock GAPPS package from the Paranoid Android guys. I usually do a full wipe when moving from stock to CM, though just doing a factory reset didn't help last time.
Does the unified build check your CID when it installs? I was SuperCID for a while, and thought that maybe the wrong APNs were being selected because my device was misdetected as a development build.
Sorry if this is all off-base.

Boot Loop
I seem to be stuck in a boot loop. I'm using an HTC One M8, coming from ViperROM.
What I did:
1) Using TWRP, wiped data, cache, dalvik
2) Flashed CM 11 11/11/2014 nightly
3) Flashed gapps 4.4.4
Now when I boot, the phone gets stuck in the CM boot animation. I'm able to successfully restart back into recovery.

Music randomly stops playing?
Just converted from CM to PA and absolutely love, but the only gripe is that music randomly stops playing, and I have to go on to the next song to get it working, and it randomly occurs with no set interval, sometimes less than a song-length apart, sometimes 20 minutes apart, etc.
The only instance this ever happens is on Paranoid Android. I've never had the issue on CM nightlies, and I've tried different combinations of Paranoid Android and GApps, which someone stated might have been the issue, but my last attempt was the latest beta with stock signed GApps rather than PA GApps, and the issue is still there, so I'm thinking it's the kernel. Google's brought me to Samsung solutions, some of which I've tried but nothing. Was wondering if this is an outstanding issue or is it just my device.

I'm fairly certain that this is a known bug on this rom.

Running Beta3 without any issues. It's just that the double tap to wake stops working without any reason.
Have rebooted, wiped cache and dilvik cache but still its not working.
Any ideas!!

Xposed module called pic2sd or something similar

I've been peeking around XDA for probably around two years now if not longer, and have been running PA on my M8 since Beta 2. I have to say, I love this ROM - so simple, yet so sleek. I don't have any known bugs as of yet for B5 :good: and I look forward to continued updates! Thank you again for all your work!

So when going into floating mode with hangouts it seems to close any app in currently using using beta 5 clean flash any reasons as to why?

Not on PA at the moment so I can't test, but do you have a theme applied? And are you on the PA kernel? I crossed through a random post somewhere where the user deselected his theme and apparently it's been fixed.

when a conversation via a phone call starts the sound is very bad with noise. I have try via speaker,headphones, and bluetooth. Any suggestions?

Hi all,
I've recently began encountering issues with the facebook app. I'm on 1027 release on my SMT-310. When I open facebook I get a can't connect message, yet I can see the FB notifications in the app, and when FB notifications pop up on the status bar. But the app can't seem to connect to update newsfeeds or notifications.
I've taken the following steps to try and fix the issue but none of them worked.
Cleared the FB app's cache and data
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
Reinstalling CM11
I have no other issues with any app connecting to the net, I can see FB in Chrome, but the app itself on this device suddenly stopped working about 3 weeks ago. Has anyone else seen this happen? What are any possible fixes?

Hello. Rom works great. Apart from Iplayer. It plays image for a few seconds. The only sound amd black screen. Does anybody else have this issue... Any fixes? .. Many thanks

bluetooth mouse not working correctly.
I use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard on my tablet for when I write. The keyboard and mouse worked perfectly on the stock rom. On this cynogenmod 11 there is a small problem with the mouse.
When I click the right click button, I would like it to be "back"
When I click in on the mouse wheel I would like it to be "home"
Also there was a toggle on off for on screen keyboard when I have a bluetooth keyboard connected.
That's how it worked with the stock rom and I liked that. Is this a big or small issue or just impossible to test? Let me know what I can do to help. I installed cynogenmod a few time on a few devices but I'm not a developer. Thanks for all your hard work.

I really love this rom and I don't want to go back to stock!
I use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard... On the stock rom the right click on the mouse was "back" and the middle click button was "home". any way to make that work the same on this rom? Also There is a toggle to hide input select notification and that notification still comes up. There is also a dead "cast screen" option in the display menu.
I am a little new to CyanogenMod but I was wondering... Is there a way to change up the lockscreen? I know you can disable it and install other apps that try to act like a lockscreen but It's buggy. I would dig it if you could select different types of slide lockscreen. Like for example some ICS style ones or HTC or Samsung specific style ones, just a few options. I find the one CM comes with too rigid. Thanks for all Your hard work on this.

I'm on cm-11-20141124-UNOFFICIAL-lt01lte.zip (on SM-T315).
I installed the latest BBC iPlayer & BBC Media Player from Play Store.
When I try to watch a video ie. EastEnders it plays withous issues for about 1m. After that time the picture disappears and sound gets harsh (but plays on).
I tried the same on my samsung s4 mini (on cyanogenmod too) and everything worked fine.
PS. I re-installed ROM this morning. Still the same

5GHz support for the slimkat 4.4.4 not avail
You are amazing and new life runs through my sm-t310. Only thing is the wireless is only showing 2.4 and not 5ghz. Not a huge deal but thought I'd pass it along. Besides that I find it working 100%

Playing embedded videos problem - youtube for example
First of all: THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS!!! My tab is slicker and smoother running on this ROM. I take my hat in front of you.
I have only one bothering problem with playing embedded videos, like, for example: I am on facebook (or in the browser) reading one page which has an embedded video: if I play the video in the embedded frame only the sound is going but there is no video. If I am maximizing the screen than the video becomes visible.
I would like to know if somebody else encountered this problem and if there can be done something about it.
I have encountered this problem on all versions of this ROM that I've used (around 4 versions I've used, I am not updating regularly, started somewhere in September 2014...)
The tablet is a T311 bought without a contract (so no operator restrictions whatsoever).

The noises im getting when connected to bluetooth speaker are like sound waves from space.
Used philz_touch_6.08.9-lt01lte to do wipe and install.

this is the best rom of maguro i have used, It go smoothly, a lots custom setting. But it have a small bug that If you fix the bug, the rom will be better. The bug is that when I enabled ring navigation and press back or recent not working, but home button is ok. I hope your project will get success. Thanks

Notifications don't appear in standby mode
Thank u so much for this rom. It's speed and fluid. Very good job.
I have 2 issues:
1) The notifications don't apperar when the phone is in standby. Is there any way to active this function that usually is on by default in the stock lollipop?
2) I've added in the AudioFX tile but even if it's in the list in the settings, it doesn't appear in the notifications menu.
Is there any way to solve this prbs?

Great ROM.
But...quick settings weren't always disabled on the lockscreen.
I can pull down twice to enable it...

I flashed the rom today Morning...
If i keep the phone away for sometime.. Then it doesnt wake.. No matter what i do.. I have to pull the battery to start it.. Hapend 3 times from Morning .. How can i Fix that..?

Like almost all LP Custom ROMs, this too has issues with the stock camera app. I recommend Camera ZOOM FX instead

Yes, I went from 7 to 8 yesterday. Works like a charm. Just flash 8, newest Gapps and wipe Dalvik & cache. Make a Nandroid backup first of all too, just as it says in the instructions in the beginning of this thread
