Just saw this deal and figured I'd pass it on to the community. I have no affiliation with either company, just hoping to help some people out. Just the case, no kickstand or holster. I've always been a fan of surface cases for decent protection without to much bulk. Usually switch between that and a commuter.

I have been looking at a Zenus Galaxy Note Masstige Color Edge Diary case found here for my phone. Although listed at around $40 dollars, which will be around £35 pounds once converted and V.A.T is added on at a rough guess. Yet, when I go to pay through Paypal, it lists the product as $80 dollars which is just ridiculous! Anyone know of some cheaper alternatives to this case?
i wouldn't pay £35 for a non leather case mate, although the zenus do looks pretty good!
this one gets good reviews on XDA:

Yeah, Id never pay a lot of money for a case, Its unjustified
Ive just got this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400300649839?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I really like the cases that double up as a wallet

Always end up with loads of cases for my phones, so much choice. But a few days ago my Zenus Masstige Block Folio Case arrived & I think I will stick with this one.
Not real leather but has a smooth soft finish that feels great to hold. The vulnerable elastic band to hold the case closed has been improved by adding a tab to it, so that it slips over the plastic clip easily. Not cheap but very well made. Available in Black, Brown & Red.
Here are some reviews ;-

Hey guys, been mulling over cases for the past few days. Already have the CrazyonDigital case and Elago SlimFit case but wanted something that is a little rugged and something that had a holster. I found the following on Ebay that had both for a good price:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170882937468
Anyone tried this case? It is only $15 so it is a good bit below the Seido and Otterbox which offer a rugged case with a holster. Hopefully it will do the trick.
I got this recently. Well worth the money in my opinion. Make the jump and buy it. No regrets for me.

Good deal. How long did it take yours to ship to you? Also, does it feel sturdy?
Thanks for responding!
I'm in Asia. Took about 2 weeks to reach from the states. It's really sturdy in my opinion.

I'm contemplating getting one of these cases and was wondering if any of you guys had them and what you thought of them so I can get a good idea of which one to order. Thanks

I've had both (Although I had the Commuter for my old LG Optimus One) and I currently have the Seidio Active (Without the kickstand) and the Seidio Active is much much better. The silicone and plastic is much higher quality and it doesn't lose it's shape like most Otterboxes too. The only upside with buying the Otterbox is that is comes with a screen protector (A pretty crappy one anyway) and that's about it. The Seidio case is much better.

I already have the ZAGG screen protector installed so that wouldn't be a deal breaker if it didn't come with one but thanks for your input

By the way does the case get a lot of lint on it and does it get stuck inside pockets and such that's my main concern lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
The Seidio case picks up a little bit of lint, a LOT less than the Otterboxes do. Half the time for me it doesn't pick lint up but when it does it's barely noticeable and wipes off really easily. Can't same the same about the Otterbox though, I had a hell of a time with lint problems when I had one for my old phone.

Do yourself a favor and also check out the Trident Kraken(Excellent Video Review Here). It has an awesome kickstand, tons of accessories that can be bought(11 bucks for a windshield mount? DONE!) and you can take it out of the poly-carb box and use just the silicon sleeve when you don't need it. Plus from everything I read online, Trident offers far superior protection than SEIDO or Otterbox. And the rotatable belt clip is way better than a holster, to me anyway. Give it a look, love mine!
Also if you want slightly less protection(and thickness) consider the Trident Aegis.
Quit hatin' on the Commuter!

Of course the Trident Kraken offers superior protection when compared to the Seidio Active and Otterbox Commuter but it also adds a lot more bulk to your phone. (If you're ok with that, then go for the Kraken! It is the most protective case out of the three!).
And I wasn't hating on the Commuter, I was just stating what I had encountered when I had one with my old phone.
I decided to go with the Seidio Active case with the kickstand. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll update you guys on how it is.

Got the Seidio case in the mail today I love it but the only thing is that it doesn't have any opening for the 3 pin thing on the right side of the phone. I don't know if the Otterbox Commuter has an opening for it.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Commuter doesn't have an opening for the pogo pins either. Very few have them open and the only ones I own that have such an opening are some tpu cases I have.

Yeah I don't plan to use them anyways but so far this case is very good but we'll see how it survives a fall which hopefully never happens
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Kraken does not have them either, nor does any high-protection case I have seen.
Would have to say the seidio active is my choice. After i tested it the hard way, due to me being sleep deprived. I was working inside my car engine bay and take off the phone due to getting in the way at times. I just so happened to forget it was in their and then started to drive away to get a drink. I finally realized what happen then went searching for it the case was scratch to heck, but the phone was safe
^ Mother of Buddha :-\
I have what I'm told is a Commuter for sale.. $20 shipped 405-259-2797
I like the little groove on my case from where the kickstand is too makes it feel nice when you hold the phone.

can anyone tell me if it s worth spending 50 dollars on the otterbox? is there another that does the job and if not whats the best otterbox to protect this thing. and dang when will phone makers start using gorilla glass. thanks guys
Last I knew Otterbox wasn't shipping Note2 cases until December. Seido already is. GG has been used for years.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
You can usually find Otter boxes way cheaper on amazon around 30 $ for defenders and Otter boxes are awesome because of theyre customer support say your case breaks or rips or anything they'll replace it. But 50$ no thanks also yeah sedio has goos cases but hopefully they quit using cheap silicon
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
otterbox fits have excellent customer care, and they need it. The rubber of their defender case becomes loose.
They replaced it once and I haven't called about the second because I came to the gn2.

Tpu cases are fine unless you plan on throwing your phone across the room. I have always gone with tpu and dropped my phone several times with no damage whatsoever. I guess if I worked construction or something the otterbox would be good, otherwise I feel it is too bulky. $50 vs. 5 to $10.

i HAVE TO SAY THE BEST CASE HANDS DOWN IS THE BALLISTIC MAXX AND IT COMES WITH A HOLSTER. THIS CASE IS LIKE THE OTTERBOX COMMUTER CASE WITH A HOLSTER. EVEN WITH ITS SLIM DESIGN AND WIDE EDGES ITS GIVES MORE PROTECTION THEN THE DEFENDER CASE AND NOT AS BULKY WITH A NICE DESIGN.....GO TO AMAZON ITS GOING FOR AROUND $15 DOLLARS DEFENDER IS ABOUT $50

Why are you yelling????
I believe you are a bit excited?! LOL You may want to check the prices on the defender again though. I picked one up 2 weeks ago for $21. But I must say I'm glad you have found a case that you are content with lol.
That sounds like your opinion
i disagree

didn't the doctor tell you not to overdose on the roids?
it won't turn you into Bane.
