Hello, I hope someone can help.
I had myLG LS970 flashed to cricket the other day but I was having 3G issues and I believe the flash was not "full" as they say. I was able to get a whopping .1 Mbps but I was connecting. I was not able to send or receive MMS messages and to receive incoming calls I had to disable mobile data. Long story short I didn't back up the settings and I've tried every combination I could find online . Does anyone have the Data and MMS settings for this phone on cricket that actually works? I need to get the data working so any help would be great. Specifically the information found in the ##data# menu is what I need. Thanks in advance.

So i have searched and searched but have not found something that works. I have an unlocked USCC Touch Pro 2 that i am using on Tmobile. Calls and Text work fine but when it comes to MMS and Data i am stuck. Whenever i try to send an MMS i get a Box saying there is no data connection. I even installed a preconfigured tmobile MMS cab. Still no luck. Can someone help me with the data settings? Thanks.

Is this a US Cellular phone? I'm surprised that a CDMA phone works on T-Mobile's (GSM) network at all... But if you can receive calls then I guess it does.
The data setting for T-Mobile -- the APN -- is epc.tmobile.com
So...if you have a place under Settings>Connections>Manage/Edit existing connections for APN or Access Point Name then epc.tmobile.com is it for data.
I don't know about MMS...I don't use it.
Its a CDMA/GSM phone.
MMS is wap.voicestream.com

hi im trying cm9 alpha3 and it seems great juat one problem i can make calls send messages but no internet, it works fine on wireless but not on the mobile network.
any help??
im on virgin in the uk
many thanks
alex
same here...returned to GB because of this
You may have to manually enter your mobile network settings, go to virgin mobiles website and search for manual settings in support section.
I'm with T-Mobile UK and data works perfect.
Good luck to you, and if you sort it, report back how you solved the issue.
I have set correct APN settings and when I enable data, E appears above signal indicator but it is grey which means no internet access ( blue is internet access)
network settings most likely... im on 3UK and no network problems here....although i have found that a few location based apps dont work...
yes i got it working the apn setting were from t-mobile which virgin shares their signal, manually enterted virgins and hey presto it works thanks for the help

APN Error?
Whenever I enter APN settings and save it, nothing happens. Nothing pops up in the APN menu.
Hey there,
I have a Nokia X that I can get connected up on AT&T to make calls and get txts but so far I have been unable to get any data or MMS working. I found how to add the APN settings, and then I found a couple of sources for the right APN settings for AT&T and so I put them in, but no matter what I enter I can't get any kind of 3g or other cellular data connection working. Wifi works fine but I need the MMS and mobile data
Did anyone else manage to make a Nokia X, XL etc work?
Thanks a lot
I have a Sprint L720 Galaxy S4 that I am currently using with Metro PCS/T-Mobile. I have the correct APN settings, I can make and receive calls just fine. I can send texts and MMS just fine and receive texts as well. I can not receive MMS messages or texts with picture attachments.
I looked in the ##DATA# menu or ##3282# menu as I have my MSL number. If anybody here has used the L720 or nearly any fairly new Android with T-Mobile/MetroPCS can you please give me your working settings from the data menu?
I looked through the entire data menu and it is filled with Sprint.com this and sprint/mms/server that etc. I tried changing the most obvious things to T-Mobile's settings, but I know I am missing the crucial settings to allow me to send and receive texts with photo attachments. I tried the METROPCS fix here in the forums for the L720, but the files give errors when installing. I am certain that manually entering the settings from someone else's phone will work. There are a lot of settings in the ##DATA# menu, but it would take maybe five minutes to copy them down.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me their working info. T-Mobile said they simply do not have time to look those up as the data menu is too specific. The phones in the stores are not rooted not do they have the dialer app installed to get me to the data menu.
Thank you very much.

All you need are a few settings. Name the connection T-Mobile
Under APN input fast.tmobile.com
MMC 310
MNC 260
Everything else should be automatically filled in. Just input those settings and you're now able to connect to T-Mobiles LTE data.

I sincerely appreciate your response but I have since learned that the Sprint motherboard simply can not use all of the T-Mobile frequencies for LTE data. I was getting H+ which was not bad but I was hoping for more than the board was capable of.

My apologies was not reading carefully. Sprint's Mobile APN settings are different:
Follow these steps on this link and it will have everything you need for sprint's mobile data settings

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I haven't been able to get MMS to download without manually turning on cellular data. My LG G2 used to do this automatically. I don't pay for cellular data, but I get free MMS with my texting bundle. With the G2, it would download the MMS but I wouldn't get charged data fees.
Now that I've switched to the S3, I can no longer do this. Is there any way to get that working? I've tried a few different APN settings but no luck so far.
Any help is much appreciated.
My sister in law has an s4, stock rom, mms on Rogers, no data because it is blocked, but she has to leave data enabled in order to receive mms.
