I rebooted my phone today, and when it came back up, I had Safe Mode displayed at the bottom of the screen. Also I was missing most of my installed apps. The few installed apps that were still there had a faded look to them.
Below is a screenshot of what I saw. I'm just wondering how do you enter safe mode? I just never seen this, and never heard of this before as well. I've only seen this on a Windows pc's.

Thanks for that, the thing is my phone wasn't turned off. I just pressed the power button till the Device Options menu came up, and just chose restart from there. Though good to know now.

So, it basically doesn't allow apps to start automatically when the device is booted.
It might even block all background apps.
Well you learn something every day.
Thanks very much!

It goes like this. The screen is still on and responsive, like I can keep pressing stuff but obviously I can't see a thing so it's pretty much useless. It happens so often now I literally cannot use my phone. Every time I turn it on it starts blacking out like this and flickering. Any ideas what this is? Thanks for helping
I think your phone's display is damaged. Anyway to be sure try a different ROM first.

yeah its not working with any other roms either. It also has this problem in recovery mode. If I try to take a screenshot it turns out perfectly fine.
+1, display seems damaged by what you describe

So I got my L29 a few days ago and must have screwed something up during the setup process...
So basically everything seems to be functioning properly, even updated to the latest software.
But I keep getting this notification come up and when I try to follow the steps it hangs on this screen and the "start" button never becomes clickable.
So far the pattern seems to be that I get the notification every evening, so I don't know if it's on a 24hr reoccurring or what? Up until yesterday I could just swipe it away, but last night it wouldn't swipe away anymore and I had to force stop it to get it to go away. View attachment 4689741

Bump
Anyone? Anything?
Is there a better place for me to post this?

I actually saw a video about this a couple of weeks ago(it was sakitech) and it was a feature I heavily looked forward to. It is how you turn every single app black.
1. Tap software version enough times to enable developer options.
2. Open developer Orton's, and scroll down to "Force dark mode"..
3. Your done! All of your apps should be night mode.
Mine that went, were Ebay, Amazon, and voicemail. But now, every single app is black. Also, and I'm not seeing what it's doing(maybe because I have Hex installed and running), but it states that it is in with theming..
Hope this makes someone else as happy as it's made me...
