[Q] Dead Arc

Im in a big fix right now. What i did was that i downloaded the desire hd file of the miui 4 rom and put that into the jason stein's speed porting software and started auto flash ever since my phone has't fully powered up. It doesnt get past the doomlord logo. I have tried to flash .42 firmware via flashtool and a prerooted one using fastboot but no luck. I even flashed your miui kernel and flashed the latest miui(for the arc) and it still doesnt go past the doomlord logo, Pleasee help

Hi mate did u wipe from recovery that might fix your problem

If you flash, say a stock ftf Rom you will not get dooms start up logo display, that is unless you then fastboot dooms kernel.

Okay, if you flash a stock ftf using flashtool it should boot up. Maybe your flashtool is corrupt, try downloading a fresh copy and a fresh ftf, surly then it should work.

You need the Kernel of the MIUI, im has the same issue, and done flashing with new kernel. Good Luck.

What I did..replaced the kernel in the speed porting software with the doomlord one. . and it worked a smooth!

what i did:
flash .42 world with flashtool - OK
rooted using flashtool - OK
OTA .62 - failed to boot and i got this screen:
and keep reboot and show me this screen

re-flash using flashtool to .42 .62 .69 , all the same screen even flashtool said flash finished !!
also used PCC , no use too (can not even detect the phone)
please help me !!

Whats your bootloader status ?

If you want to update OTA to .62, update first, then you can mod your phone

the problem is now i try to flash .42 but always fail ...

Are you flashing with flashtool? If not, try that.

yes using flashtool

now once i plug in usb cable (charger or computer) the phone just keep rebooting (boot up see the sony ericsson words then off reboot again and again)
tried .42 CE/UK/world .62 UK, none of them is working on my phone
....
what can i do next to bring my phone back to alive ?

Xperia ARC - Wont start after update - red led

Hello,
I have an Xperia Arc LT15i. A pop-up apeared on screen if i want to make a software update. I pressed yes, durring update phone shuted down and wont start anymore. When i try to start it red led blinks 3 times. I tried to remove battery, i charged battery few hours but no change. I also tried to install with X10 Flashing tool, ver. 9.0, has installed new firmware, LT15i_4.0.A.2.368_Generic Global and LT18_4.1.A.0.562_NCB, phone goes succesfully to flash mode... But i still have this problem .
Can i do something ?

Flash .62 firmware... (GB 2.3.4) or if you have CWM, format the system

I flashed the rom Ice Bean X, everything seemed ok, and reboot ....
the phone is stuck on the screen "SONY" ...
I tried to wait for about ten minutes but nothing fixed ... ...
Help I can do?? does not enter even in cwm:crying:

I have flashed a .587 rooted (like before the custom rom) but nothing...still lock on boot "SONY"

flash it with stock rom
download stock rom file from here http://forum.android.com.pl/f308/oprogramowanie-dla-sony-ericsson-xperiaa-arc-s-147007/ or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22105604
flash the ftf file via flashtools
you should get back to normal stock rom....
although you ll lose your root

Flashing .42 using flashtool always bail my arc s out of stuck on sony logo. Never fail.

Stuck on Boot loop after installing Chainfire 3d

Hello,
My SONY XPERIA S is rooted and bootloader is unlocked too.
I recently installed chainfire 3d without reading the instructions there.(My damn MIstake)
and after reboot it stuck on SONY logo it keeps on restarting till SONY Logo..
I tried every possible things but its not starting Urgent help needed..
please if someone could help me, that will be really great and appreciable..
I am unable to go into recovery mode and that's why i am unable to flash custom rom..
phone is not at all detectable, m unable to do anything.
Please Please Please HELP ...

Note that chainfire3d will cause bootloop on 4.0(ics) and up, cf3d works only on 2.3(gingerbread)
