[REQ] SecMMS.apk that reads emojis - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

wondering if a developer or someone could find a way to let us use the stock samsung messaging app with emojis.Usually when i put a emojis in a text it converts it too mms instead of sending it as a text thats weird because on the S2 it sends the emojis with the text as a regular text message

[Q] [Request] AOSP MMS.apk (preferably ported from Samsung Galaxy)

I know there are several threads out there that have AOSP MMS.apk files, however I haven't been able to come across one that fixes the voicemail text message issue.
Has anybody had any luck modifying the MMS.apk file to prevent this?
It's my understanding the Samsung Galaxy 4G uses the default Messages application and I'm assuming they also fixed it so that users don't get voicemail text messages.
If anybody has a working AOSP Mms.apk file out there that works w/ the EVO and blocks those voicemail text messages I'd be extremely grateful if you could share it.
Thanks in advance,

[Q] Any way to make the text input box on stock SMS app smaller?

When you expand the text input box on the stock SMS app on Jellybean 4.3 it is way too big. GoSMS Pro has it right. Is there anyway to mod it to make it smaller? I don't want to use a 3rd party app because they always have problems with sending MMS messages for me. Any ideas?

[Q] SMS App

Hi,
Coming from an iPhone background, I am finding the transition to this phone great!!!
One minor problem is group messages of 7 or more getting converted to MMS (as I found out to my expense). Is there an alternative SMS app that doesn't do this??
Go sms
Send from my Z1C using tapatalk
i use chomp sms
MySMS
MySMS is really great. Support different websms Provide, A perfect backup function and a lot more. Free Messages between Mysms users are also included...
Thanks for the replies :good:
I know this thread is a little old, but I remember that there was some hidden options in the SMS app on Gigerbread (3 Android version ago). One of them was whether or not you wanted to auto convert SMS messages longer than 160 characters to MMS. If your phone was rooted, you could edit an xml file to make this option appear so that you could check it.
In the same .xml file, you could actually set the numbers of character required for the auto convert to embark. I remember putting a crazy number.
In the end, on your phone it would still show as one huge message, but the recipient would receive multiple messages of 160 characters. Your phone would do the magic and send regular SMS instead of MMS.
If I can find the thread, I would link it, and then see if those options still works in KitKat on my rooted Z1c.
Check out sliding messaging. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smitten.slidingmms

Textra is hands down the best messaging app I've used. Try it out!
textra is a simplified version of chomp. i just like the more customisation that chomp offers

[Q] Group Messaging Recipients Add or Remove

Hi,
I am new to this forum and would appreciate some feedback. My issue is that I am using the Messaging stock and while responding to a "Group Message" I can not figure if there is a way to ADD or REMOVE recipients in the message without having to create a new one. I previously has a Samsung GS4 and in the stack Messaging App there is the ability to edit the recipient list as needed regardless of whether or not I created the initial group message or not..
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
