[Q] Bricked SGS2???

I flashed from Juggernaut 3.65 to CM7. I noticed in the Android Market my device showed up as an HTC under the 'Maker' field. I thought I would flash back to the Stock ROM I have and completely unroot/restore to factory settings. I flashed it to the rom using ROM manager and now it won't boot. I can get to the Android recovery, so CWM is gone and I can still try to flash through ODIN but that doesn't seem to work either. Any thoughts?
I also tried reflashing from the UnRoot ROM using Android Recovery and it fails every time.

Flash the stock rom rooted with cwr and the super user apk with Odin. Check the dev section.

I was able to flash the CWM recovery file through ODIN. I was then able to use CWM to restore back to the Juggernaut 3.65 but wouldn't let me flash back to stock, not that I'm complaining. It seems to be fully functional again. Thanks!

[Q] can't enter recovery mode

hello, i have a problem with my galaxy gio...
it is 2.2.1 and i wanted to upgradeit to a newer version.
first i tried to use the stock recovery mode (the one without many options) and so i tryed to install the clockwork recovery.
i forgot to do the root in the first place, so i have done it using superoneclick- the phone is now rooted and superuser is working great!
the only problem is that now every time i try to enter recovery mode it is stuck on the samsung logo.. and then i turn off and on to normal mode...
anybody can help me maybe restore the stock recovery?? or have a different solution??

Why don't you just tell us right now, so we won't need to look for you and wait if you are online and stuff.

Dont install CWM on Froyo..
Thats is the problem,2.2.1 is froyo..

CWM isn't compatible with Froyo... You must upgrade to Ginger to use CWM. But ginger is hard to root with Super one click... So you must flash it! :good:

Flash stock 2.3.6 with Odin, then flash cwm with Odin directly afterwards.

thank you all for tips, i understood why it happened, and solved it by flashing the stock 2.3.6 using odin and then stock recovery apeared and working then i could do everything bec i got the recovery mode back to work!.

Same thing happened to me after i updated super user, it said 'super user signing error' when i accessed CWR from the os, and when i tried to boot it went straight to the OS (cm 7.2) - i fixed it by throwing out the battery for 5 minutes and re installing cm 7.2.

[Q] Huge ,huge problem

Hi guys,
I have a big problem with my n7100.
I was running Paranoid android(last update 3.67) but my 3g not working and i decide to switch to illusion rom(which was the great) but this time wifi not working.
Anyway,i try to flash again Paranoid and everything seems to be just fine ,,installation complete,,reboot my phone but nothing change,,illusion rom its still here.Ok, i try couple times but still nothing,I try ,also to restore my older roms ,,nothing illusion is still here.
After that i try to flash fresh new stock rom via pc Odin (everything looks good,,phone reboot normaly) but got a bootloo....
I was stack on Samsung logo.I try again to flash the same rom(stock one) but this time installation was unsuccessful.
NOW ,i cant go to the recovery i cant to nothing,
Any helps ,ideas?

My mistake ,i can go only to download mode but cant flash stock rom via Odin.

what the error u get while flashing from odin do u have samsung usb driver installed make sure u disable antivirus and try as admin

[Q] HELP with Flashing ROM

i just bought a note2 LTE version, N7105 that is
i rooted it and flashed CWM via the following method

It was rooted and i got CWM recovery , i later on flashed Touch CWM recovery as well
Now the problem,,
i want to flash a DEODEX version of the stock 4.1.2 ROM . i downloaded it from here ( matching the the phones firmware ofc )

did all the right procedures, wipe system, wipe cached, factory data reset and flashed the ROM from sdcard
the ROM is flashed and the phone restarts
however, it is still stuck in the ' samsung note II ' screen for more than 10 minutes
luckily, i can go back into recovery via the vol + . home and power combination,,,,
i have tried to flash another 4.2.2 ROM but the same results , stuck in opening screen !
can anyone tell me what went wrong ? and how i can go back to stock ?

Now the first thing you should of done is make a nandroid backup.
Although, I do believe there is a stock file you can flash via odin and should take you back to stock. Just do a google search (should of done this before me telling you).

Flash a backup if you made one? Flash a stock through Odin but if that don't work just home volume up and factory reset. I had a different story to you but mine got stuck on the Samsung logo and it took a flash through Odin and a factory reset

Sounds like incorrect version for your phone. Note 2 has quite a few versions.
As others have said use the backup to restore back to original OS and then start again.
I had to do this and it worked fine for me.

So my issue is that I have a Grand Duos and I had the CWM recovery (Philz Touch 6.12.8) installed in it, and I wanted to install a new ROM, but installing it in CWM indicated error of installation so I wanted to try installing it in TWRP. I didn't know how to install the TWRP but I just flashed it with the CWM and then I turn the phone off and tried to get in the new TWRP, but suddenly it got stuck in the Samsung Grand DUOS GT-I9082 screen, no TWRP not turning on, the only thing i can do is enter the DOWNLOAD mode. So then I tried to install back the CWM but Odin could'n program it, I also downloaded the stock firmware of the Gand Duos and again it couldn't install it. I have the drivers installed and tried with many other versions of Odin but still not working.
ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME

Normally when things like this happen the wisest and more sure thing to do is to go back to a 4.1.2 ROM. Search for the ROM if you can remember that shipped with your phone. Use ODIN and flash it back to stock ROM. Don't root it or do anything yet. I tend to let the system boot and atleast get to the wizard and wait a minute or so to then go on to reboot download mode and then you can try to root it. I've never like TWRP much, I've kinda been using CWM for years so I wouldn't know, but I'd go with the early Philz Touch, and then I tend to do k2wl latest modded CWM.
Let me know how that works out

Please do following steps to resolve the issue.
1) Have latest Philz Recovery/CWM Recovery and Odin 3.0+ version
2) Boot to Download Mode
3) Install CWM/Philz Recovery
4) In philz Recovery there is an option of Clean Install for a New ROM.
5) After clean install you can insatll any custom ROM.
6) If this solves problem hit thanks. :good::good::good:
Note: If you want to flash Kitkat ROM, you need to flash Stock ROM 4.2.2 first only then follow the above steps.

Philz latest Recovery doesn't work with Touchwiz roms and always gives status 2 error

Hello Paul, I just tried it but nothing works, in odin mode, everything you flashes, it get stuck in <<get PIT for mapping...>> or <<SetupConnection...>>. I tried inserting a i9082 PIT file in re-partition field but it doesn't work , what can I do now?

You need to download Stock ROM, it will hang for some time because it will check the file but if you are able to boot in download mode i dont think there would be any problem
If still problem persist please give a snap what exactly your are facing.

It happens to me sometimes and its very irritating when it stuck there. You can do several things
1st- change your usb cable
2nd - try it again again when it stucks, turn off your computer and your phone too by removing battery of phone and then try again. 3rd - try to install it fron another computer but 1st install Samsung kies then odin then install your stock firmware
