[Q] Wireless charging? - Galaxy Ace II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i need a new charger and i was thinking about a wireless one, because my ace 2 is starting to not make it until i go to bed. I tried googleing it, but only found it for iphones and galaxy s3. Are there any ace 2 wireless chargers or diy tutorials on how to make one?

This thread should have been posted in the Q&A section. But not to worry As far as I'm aware there are no official devices you can buy and I don't know of any ways to make it yourself. Sorry

I don't think there are any modules to allow your Galaxy Ace 2 to charge wirelessly

huh? I don't even think the note 2 is even capable of wireless charge...I believe it has to have specific hardware to achieve this not a software mod.
There is a way to modify your battery cover using an older phone's charging hardware( can't remember the name) here on xda -tv.
from a galaxy far far away....

Is My Nexus Breaking My Chargers?

Hopefully you guys can give me some insight here. I've gone through 5 mini usb cables and 1 car charger in the last few weeks. They'll work perfectly for charging my phone and then just stop out of the blue and never work again. I've tried different brands and it's happening with all of them. Could it be the phone?

Are you using any fast charge kernel?
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
Your phone is just drawing power, so it's unlikely that your phone smoked your charger.
Check your wall.
No, I haven't flashed any kernels and it's happened with 3 different ROMs

That was my initial thought too but it just seems strange for so many of these things to just break all at the same time s

* * Cable that does everything smart dock does? OTG USB, HDMI, Charge etc

Hi guys,
I'm interested to know if there's a cable that can do everything that the smart dock does as I don't like the fact I can't use the smart dock in landscape mode.
I want to connect the Note 2 to a screen via HDMI, keep it charged/charging and have a female USB port so I can connect a hub/PS3 controller/Memory stick etc.
Also, I've read online that I may need to root to get all this functionality working?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm new to the Android community, just finished using BlackBerry.
Thanks
That's the dream. For now an non existant one...

MHL Adapter (Samsung Official)

Hey guys.
Just a quick one. I have the official Samsung MHL Adapter and it works on the gnex but I have assumed, and I probably shouldn't, that it would work on other late Samsung android models. Doesn't seem to work on the note 2...
Just wondering if anyone has got it to work and if there's one for one and another for another? Which I'm thinking is the case. Sorry if this isn't part of this particular forum just a random question. It "sort" of related to the Gnex haha.
Thanks in advance.

I'd like to know the answer as well. It's pretty useful to plug I'm a keyboard or usb flash drive once in a while

There's already a thread in the Q&A section that confirms you can when rooted. Just search for OTG or scroll down
