my xperia ion keep restarting itself, the screen cuts to black (fading the screen to black, going through a yellowy/orange colour as if the LCD screen is bleeding). sometime when it got lock screen at start-up, it happen again. When it connected to charger, it stay a while, but when i play few apps, and it do it again.
i had done repair using sony pc companion and flash stock new firmware, but still don't solve my problem.
What is my xperia ion problem? i'm still no idea what problem with my phone.

Heya guys, my issue is that my play basically gets stuck on the black screen with white sony ericsson text upon booting. However if it's charging or connected to my laptop it will boot, but the touch screen doesn't work. Also, if i disconnect the Play it restarts and goes straight to the sony ericsson text again :/ Does anyone have any experience or know how to fix this? I was not trying to flash any kernel or anything (locked bootloader), my phone was simply charging. I unplugged it and then the fun started :/ Thanks.
Send it back for repair
Ouch sounds bad, well if you were only charging it and you're bootloader is locked I'd try sending back to Sony or wherever you bought it from for repair
Yeah that's what I'm doing. Took me ages to get any sense outta meteor customer care though, cause I bought it off them.
U can try flashing it to the latest update from sony,
I guess it was a bootloop, just flashing it will make u have a new phone

phone reboots when i remove/insert simcard. i hate it.
is there any way to make it not to reboot by itself?

Yesterday I switched the battery on my Xperia S and after i assembled everything back the device powered up and the touch was working but i couldn't see anything. The screen doesn't display anything but the device is fully functional.
Can anybody here please help me with my problem? maybe i should turn up the brightness but i can't navigate there (because i can't really work when i don't see a thing). I have also tried restoring my device using the official Sony tool (Emma) but it didn't help me with the problem.
Take it to a repair shop, you may touched by mistake the screen leds.
Actually I had Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc mobile & I want to dissemble it. I did so then everything was fine but no sound at all then removed again & fixed it but now am stuck at black display at the startup. please someone help me to fix this issue
Obviously, you did something wrong in the process of (dis)assembling. Check all the connections/connectors, wires, screws, placement etc.

my phone after power restarting on sony logo
today my phone also restarted for one time ..was reading only whatsapp messages and suddenly restarted with sony logo(soft restart)... happened only one time...on stock rom and 4.3..because i have replaced my phone with new one and its almost 5 months..i have been using it...previous phone was having problem of automatic shutdown(battery problem) is there any serious problem..??
