Hello everybody. I've installed core player on my touch hd and just put some avi files of the 4400 with ac3 sound on my hd. Now core player says it doesn't support ac3 is there a codec around that wil solve this problem or is ac3 playback with coreplayer not possible.
does your coreplayer play dailymotion.com
got the same "problem"
it's not possible at the moment with coreplayer
I know use the encoder found in this forum by projection. Works great. Also with ac3 and it plays the video's even better than coreplayer in the onboard hd video player.
here's the link to the ap. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467112
i copyed an xvid movie on my HD and tryed to play it with coreplayer 1.3
unfortunately it doesn't play the sound and gave me an error message related to lack of ac3 audio codec (the movie has ac3 6 channels audio)
to my totally surprise tcpmp 0.72RC1 plays the sound with no problem, but, ofcourse, the video is bad
so, i am wondering if there are some codecs for coreplayer that i can download or if there is a way to add codecs from tcpmp to coreplayer
thank you!
nobody?
no hints?
Hi
Looking at this they are having licensing issues with the AC3 plugin.

why not just convert the file to mp4?
The native video app does 5.1 audio out via headphones but has no subtitle support.
MvideoPlayer supports subtitles but not 5.1.
Is there a media player that does both ?
i Have A Bunch Of videos that have English and Japanese audio built into them, along with subtitles. Is there a video player that lets me switch between audio and subtitles? Im currently using mobo player, but i cant find the option to switch audio
Hi Everyone,
Quick question, does this phone have HEVC/x265 playback support? Probably 8-bit. Thinking of buying this phone for a loved one, I just want to play on this phone 1080p HEVC video files (probably with AAC or FLAC audio) smoothly and without audio or video hiccups. Thanks in advance.
