How about this Amazon Power Bank? - General Accessories

I found this power bank on amazon. Amazon reviews are saying it's handy and good. Has anyone tried the power bank yet?
MOD EDIT: LINK Removed as commercial advertisement.

There is a ton of similar rebranded "lipstick" batteries from HK, even cheaper. The question, what phone are you planning to use it with? 2600 mAh is a labeled capacity where you only get 50%-70% of it due to efficiency loses. As a matter of fact, if you look into the reviews people saying it only delivers about half of it, so you get about 1300 mAh. This is not enough for most of the new phones and tablets with 3000+ mAh batteries. Plus, the output is 1A, probable even less, so the charging will be slow.
This product is not good. Sorry, I know YOU work for this company since you post about "EC" products in your previous posts. But I'm just saying my opinion.

Spare battery charger

I finally found one http://www.fommy.com/view-full-page...sung+Captivate+i897&cat=Batteries&skuno=88959
How many posts are you going to make linking to the same battery charger? Please let us know so we can just ignore all your future posts. Thanks!
I gave a heads up that this was available and later posted a general question about voltage and amperage and then as someone pointed out I did post the wrong link when talking about an armband but WOW you don't need to be so rude!
Two posts on the same subject linking to the same product, plus a 'mistake' of linking to that same product in yet a third post makes you look like a spammer, or at the very least a shill for the website you are linking to.
If that's not the case then I'm sorry.
I just ran across this deal for 2 x 1500 mah spare batteries plus an AC charger for the Captivate for $10 with free shipping from eBay. It sounds too good to be true. Has anyone ordered and tested these yet?

1 post on a battery charger, 1 post asking about voltage and wattage that, (among other links), also had a link to the battery charger as an example concerning the voltage question and 1 accident linking a post to the wrong item with the post obviously talking about an armband, (very obviously talking about an arm band).
I can see that if you flew through that all to quickly you could get the wrong idea so I accept your apology.

Not really, same charger China always has with a bit of different plastic shell, about .99 w/free shipping on eBay all the time. What would concern me is the batteries, typically they will list the mAh but they are usually over-rated, sometimes by as much as 50%, so you will likely get much less life out of them. Sometimes they will surprise you but most likely they will test out around 1200 mAh instead of the 1500 claimed.

[Q] Acesoft 1970mAh and China OEM batteries?

Has anyone tried out the T989 replacement batteries from Acesoft or 1950 mAh China OEMs on eBay? I try to avoid China vendors and wait for US seller so I can dispute the sale if their mAh claims are way off.
From the US there seems to be several vendors selling Acesoft 1970 mAh batteries. No individual batteries, just bundles so far
1 Battery and charger ~$27
2 Batteries + charger ~$40
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...battery&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
You can also get them on Amazon for about the same price
Now in this post it was hinted that the Infuse batteries would fit in the T989. If this is the case, you can get 2 batteries for $30 from here.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B005FD3LM6/electronicblogall-20
The China OEM 1950mAh batteries are $3.70 a pop. Might be better to get 6 of these vs 1 Acesoft one.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...acesoft&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
Before writing this post, I was tending to get the Acesoft batteries, but given how cheap the China OEMs are I might just get 4 of those and wait for the Acesoft ones to get cheaper.
If anyone has experience with either batteries please post here. I'd also like to hear from anyone who is using an Infuse battery.
just so you know, those batteries does not include NFC they are just plain batteries
and even though they say 1970 mAh, i don't think they are really that high, they will most likely be around the 1650 mAh area in actual use.
buyers beware

Not really worried about NFC. Haven't used it yet. I'm looking for extra batteries for longer trips (e.g. flight to Asia), where I'm using the phone as a video or audio player.
I wouldn't mind a battery for $3.70 with 89% of the capacity of an original one. If anyone has bought either battery I'd like to hear about your experiences.
in that case it's all good, go for it
i use those china made after market quite often on all my devices, and they do work good, just don't expect the advertised capacity
i'll use the included wall charger to charge them just in case

can you do a more detailed analysis of the battery pls? screen on time playing a full 720p movie on a loop? white background screen on time?
How much was it?
I just "love" these so called reviews ... no photos, no real tests, no real comparisons ...
Thanks! I order myself two of the single batteries here. The original alone is just not enough to run the phone. Seems like they did have the two batteries plus a charger before but that sold out.

shill much?
If anyone has any idea where I can buy one of these from outside the US, please let me know ^^. I live in France so anywhere that can deliver to Europe really. Thanks
Hmm, I wish I would have known about this before, I would have tried it out. I just received the official Samsung 2000mAh battery and cover from SK. Cost me like $45 on ebay.
edit: although I note the qcell battery does not appear to support NFC...
These batteries are quite good. The charger is very handy in charging up the spares. Highly recommend this

anyone can tell me the input voltages for the batteries and charger? will it work on 220v outlet? tia
I've bought a bunch of 3rd party batteries for my previous phones (Nexus One, Sensation), and have found that they're pretty much all crap and any perceived gains are simply psychological. Actual batteries mAh ratings are often significantly exaggerated on the product labeling, this can easily be determined by peeling off the label and looking for serial and model numbers printed on the metal battery casing. Googleing these numbers brings up product data sheets from manufacturers in China with the actual mAh rating.
I now only buy OEM batteries as I think it's the only way of ensuring your getting what you think you are. Think of it this way, if Samsung could pack more mAh into a specific size, they probably would. The size of a battery is limited by the battery technology, so if you calculate the mAh/gram density of the OEM battery I would use that as a guideline. 3rd party batteries advertising densities higher than that are probably exaggerating the actual capacity.
Jim, completely agree, and have usually found non-OEM batteries to be total crap, however it's possible to find some that aren't. I bought some PowerGen batteries for my Nexus One about a year ago and they've given me performance on par with the OEM battery. I made that purchase based on positive reviews and since they only cost about $10 (IIRC), way cheaper than OEM, it was a good risk and deal. Worked for me. I'm hoping the QCell batteries will be the same, but haven't seen enough positive reviews to know yet...

I don't want to come off as a completely cynic (which I will), but the two people talking about these QCell batteries are named "ckang008" and "awong12." The latter of the two has 3 total posts on XDA, and "ckang" has a handful of posts since registering this past January (55 total) talking up these QCell batteries for all different devices. Again, they could both be very real people, but this thread to me seems like a bit of a hoax.
But if this thread in fact legit, I do agree with Jim and GPSRider as I have similar experiences with OEM vs non-OEM batteries in the past.
Any updates? I've bought 3rd party batteries before, for my HTC Sensation. Something similar, 2x1900mAh + charger, but theose were Anker, and they were pretty good. Lasted longer than the stock one.
I'm considering trying these as I find it very comfortable to have spare batteries and a battery charger.

I can understand your skepticism. I am one hell of skeptical person too. But I do owe these Qcell batteries (I bought a pair with a charger) and have had them for 4/5 months now. No problems absolutely.
Take the 2050mah for granted. They are not any higher than stock. But the build quality is very good at least for me.
I've had great experience with my 2100 vzw extended battery but that's made by Samsung.

DO NOT TRUST.........
gold brand + high capacity = FAKE FAKE FAKE.......
have a look here instead......
3in1 Charger + Battery
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GY060KO/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_4RIKtb080D2JD
I've done a lot of research into this.
There are a couple of brands that should be considered.....one of them is ANKER, the other is provided in the link......
Anything else you find (especially 'gold'), is likely to be fake.....and almost certainly will be of lower capacity than stated......
And the only way of finding a Samsung battery is to buy direct from Samsung......
But I can't state this strongly enough......
STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING CALLED GOLD........
My wife says I'm a phone geek....She's probably right

Thanks for the tip, I didn't actually beieve that "2430mAh" thingy, but i thought i should give it a shot. thats why i posted it on XDA. I will look into this battery you posted, looks legit with a charger and everything
It's not just the misleading mAh, it's also the lack of quality control where these batteries are made......
They quite often use sub standard parts, which will lead to a shorter user life, and in some cases prove dangerous......
The battery/charger I linked to is built in Germany where standards are infinitely higher and quality control is paramount.......

LG V20 accessories on website...

But coming soon. Hold off on buying from scalpers and eBay. This way you can be sure to legit accessories. No prices yet. Just coming soon.
Yeah, this must be happening soon. Just checked the battery kit that I've had sitting in my wishlist on Amazon and amazingly it has dropped to $57. Can't imagine that would have happened unless LG is about to go live with official local pricing. (It was in the high 60s when I added it to my list.)
/fingers crossed for a wireless charging battery cover.
Looks like the batteries are available now. And with prime shipping. Battery + charger + battery case, battery alone or charger alone. Some with prime shipping.

V20 specific accessories are beginning to show up.
Unfortunately, for those looking for OEM QI Wireless charging abilities, nothing is posted as of now.
The one case that is shown I can verify that it does not support wireless charging, but a nice case nonetheless.

LG website updated from coming soon to prices but still not available to purchase yet. Battery is $40 MSRP as expected. So who, what, when, where, why do we go about getting batteries for ~$20-25? Sales? Coupons? Black Friday/holiday shopping? Amazon direct? I am eager.

Same here! I want this ASAP but I'm a cheapskate. Need this before we go out of town at Christmas time!
I'm refreshing amazon listings several times a day and I'll add the lg page to my refresh schedule. If I see any decent price drops I'll definitely post about it here.
It doesn't help that I got my battery/charger combo for free with my v10. That spoiled me.
I want at least 4 batteries. Not paying $40 for them.
I only want one more and I still don't want to pay that much! Got the v10 battery for free with the promo and it's only regular price $30 and its been on sale for $15 several times including right now.
Hopefully they'll do something for Black Friday or Christmas. I have time...
If zerolemon beats them to it I won't even have to worry anymore!

You're better of getting a Quick Charge 3.0 Anker power core+ bank until the extra oem battery gets cheap. It charges so fast.
