Has anyone successfully gotten Flash player to work with the default browser on 4.3? .I've searched and tried everything but have not had success. Can anyone else share how they accomplished this on the new updated 4.3?

Goto adobe archives here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
Scroll to Flash Player for Android 2.x and 3.x archives and install the first one. They update it often so check periodically.
Here's a you tube video as well (he's using the note 3 but it's the same way to do it)

Good post. I did a manual update to JB on my Galaxy Nexus 2 nights ago and had to search around for a good bit to find the Flash 11.1 install. This is a good resource.

Thanks a lot looked all over found this.
thanks alot for this

I installed it and still no flash. I don't think 4.1.1 even supports flash.
I installed this and it works on the stock browser, but not on Chrome.

Haha, if it only works on the stock browser, there is absolutely no point in using flash then. I only use chrome since my bookmarks and everything are seamlessly synced.
I've had flash installed since day one!!! Updated to bigxie's 4.1.1 and flash is still working once you update YOU CAN'T DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE MARKET! I watch YouTube from the stock browser,Don't like chrome.. And whatever sites I can't visit I use droidvpn I live in canada. But flash still plays!!

No More
Last night, everything was working perfectly.
Not today.
Sadly, I get errors now saying that Flash is no longer supported for my device even though I still have it installed.
Not sure what happened, but it blows now. :crying:
UPDATE:
Still works on default browser. However, it is no longer working with Dolphin HD. What the hell Dolphin?!

It's indicated "enabled" when I check the settings in /data/data, but when I check the browser setting, I found it's disabled and I got error "Flash is not compatible with 4.1" when I tried to enable it.
It seems to work with Skyfire (but it is pretty unstable).
Opera Mobile is totally not workable when flash is enabled.
Well, should I go back to 4.0.4?
Can we get a copy of the latest adobe flash? --version released August 23rd

here you go, downloaded from Adobe archives, version 11.1.115.17
Hi all
If you have updated your Nexus to Jelly Bean using fastboot oem unlock all installed apps will be deleted.
After that I have installed the latest Flash Player from Adobe archive without success (version: 11.1.102.59)
A friend of mine got the update from Google. He also had installed Adobe Flash on ICS (version: 11.1.115.12).
This version works with Jelly Bean.
Because you can't download the Flash Player app from the store I've attached it for you.
(downloaded with chrome apk downloader)
Have fun
UPDATE: Archived Flash Player versions http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html (thx to maris__)
thank you so much
Will use when I get my tablet.

people need to understand the reason why Flash Player was brought down. Obviously, they didn't remove it just for laughs.

that's a gross overestimation. Unless you like to play flash games, 99% of internet is either flash-free or has html5/mobile-optimized alternatives.

Maybe he's including ads, in which case 90% of the flash you'd rather not see anyway. But it's nice to have when you do want it.
In to download later

Where does it download to when you use your phone? It ask me to install it but I have it already, I just wanted to backup in case I needed it later after JB install.

I tried it myself yesterday with a file I found on Adobe but it didn't work, but I just installed this file now and it works no problem. Thanks Elim:good:
EDIT: Okay I was wrong it still says it doesn't support flash on some videos yet it plays certain videos it wasn't playing yesterday....no idea what's happening LOL
Maybe older versions are better...?
I am not sure which version works and therefore post also a link to the archive. But I have to correct it...
So long you can test this one:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/...roid/11.1.115.69/install_flash_player_ics.apk
And here the correct link to the archive (scroll down):
flash player archive
PS. I will also made my tests.
Flash does not work in Chrome. It does work in built-in browser. I also use Dolphin (you need to change the agent to desktop in settings). Others have mentioned firefox and boat, I haven't tried them.

Not sure what version of jelly bean people are running but flash has never worked in google chrome for android. Also, the stock browser that is included with 4.3 does not support flash anymore. Older versions do but not the version bundled with 4.3 on the galaxy note 10.1 2014. I've only been able to get flash to work on 3rd party browsers like Dolphin and Firefox.
Please note, chances are if you are playing videos in chrome or in the stock browser they are not flash videos. The easiest way to test if flash is working is to go to a site that has flash based games. Trying to play videos only is misleading because more and more sites are including mobile friendly mp4 versions of videos.
I've had no success with Chrome or Dolphin, but Firefox works with the above version of Flash. It's so stupid to discontinue Flash support when it's still so prevalent on the internet.
Flash works for me in both Dolphin and Next browser.

Iv tried all suggested flash player suggestions.
The common one downloading the archived flash player apk from adobe follow steps etc. Still no luck, im unable to stream anything from wizwig.tv (live sport streaming) keeps telling me I dont have flash player installed.
Iv installed the apk enabled plugins/flash player trying default browser / firefox / op mini / dolphin.. same error.
Tried the photon flash browser from pkay store the flash works in the brower but crashes ... cant believe in these times that a tablet cant stream flash player straight out of box...

From what I can find on the web, Flash doesn't work on Intel based Tablets which I believe the P5220 uses.
