Tab 3 memory - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am trying to install some apps on my tab 3 7.0 and the app page says 2.2 gigs free but when I try to install apps play store says insufficient storage available. Any ideas are appreciated.

When do you get the error? I sometime get it with play store trying to update an app. I find it will work sometimes if I either uninstall that particular app and reinstall it or clear data on the play store app. I am not sure of the cause behind it.

Play store error insufficient storage

I'm running liquids month 4.2 and suddenly when I tried to update apps from the play store it gives me insufficient storage. I have 8gb of available internal storage and 32gb external storage.
How can I fix this issue?

Try wiping the data and rebooting. It's been pretty buggy lately.
How do I do that. Why data do I have to wipe?

Wipe data for Google Play Store in Android's built in app manager. Then reboot.

"Insufficient storage available" when I have 800mb free for apps and 9gb free on sd.

See title. What's wrong with this idiot phone? Happens with every app I try to install.
I'm on stock 96 rooted Xperia S.
Tried searching on Google and found a couple solutions that didn't help at all.
Weird
i had that issue right after one of my apps had a licence check failiour
Clear google play store data, that usually works for me

Did you installed any patch with Lucky Patcher? If yes, go to fix problems and look for things related to apps not installing...

Seems like the problem fixed itself. And no I don't use lucky patcher. I don't know what happened but it annoyed me a lot.

Insufficient Internal Storage Space

I know this is not a new issue but I thought with the new android 4.3 update and the ability to move apps to our sd card it would have been a thing of the pass.
I'm on Jovi's 4.3 update and I am not able to download all the apps I want to, ( apps that I had on my s3 no problem) and I am also not able to update a few apps in my play store.
Am I missing something here, is there something I'm not doing correctly?

I had a similar issue I had found that my back up I made in cwm was 4.5 gigs which didn't leave me enough room for apps I moved the file from internal sd to ext sd havent had that problem come back

Chrome update error

Hi guys is there anyone else who are having issues with updating chrome browser? Every time I try and update after downloading it will fail and either say invalid download URL or insufficient storage available. I have 300 MB available.

I had many many problems with this until I couldn't install/update any application. But it was funny because when I went in settings/apps I had 400MB of free space but in settings/storage there was only 200MB of free space.
After many uninstall/reinstall of certain applications I found that cache was taking all the space on my phone. So I recommend you to use app like DiskUsage or Clean Master to clear all cache and stuff you don't need. For me only Google+ was taking 200MB of cache.
