This might be the most stable MIUI I've run on my T889, and I've tried several! @eZdubzitmk4 has done an excellent job of porting this up-to-date version of MIUI for the AT&T Note 2, and it is completely compatible with our device.

INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe data, cache, and dalvik
Install Rom zip file
Install gapps
Flash modem (if needed)
Flash kernel (if needed)
Boot into rom. You will likely have working 3g and not 4g. Setup the rom all the way through until you get to the homescreen.
Enable root using the permissions app in the security folder.
Add att apn
Download Terminal Emulator from play store
Type su. Hit enter. Type "fixdata.sh" without the quotes. The device will reboot
Apply a new MIUI theme to fix voice calling and reboot
PROFIT!
Google apps are now flashed seperately. Use 20121011 release.
ROOT: root works with my build.prop. Open the permissions app in the security center, and enable root.
If you accidentally go into mobile networks, just run "fixdata.sh" from terminal again*Not sure if this applies to us on ATT, because i had to go set up the ATT APN and save it..

The ROM is compliments of @eZdubzitmk4 ! It is made for the AT&T variant, but works perfectly for our device. There is NO wifi calling. There are also no APN settings by default, so you will need to enter them manually. Follow the installation instructions from @eZdubzitmk4 's OP. Once you do that, simply enter the APN settings, then run from terminal emulator "su" to gain root access for the emulator, then run "fixdata.sh". The device will reboot. After that it's smooth sailing.

As soon as I get a chance I'll post screenshots of APN settings for quick reference, and perhaps some tips that have helped me with this ROM.
Tip #1: DO NOT MESS WITH TORCH (FLASHLIGHT)!!!! It will break your power button wake function, and maybe any wake function. You will have to wipe everything and start from scratch if you do. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

If anyone is using bluetooth stereo headphones and experiences interruptions in music/media (not phone call audio) playback when you are hung up on, just make a phone call and hang up. I use my voicemail number and it restores my media connection every time (bluetooth phone connection is never a problem).

1. This ROM is based on doixanh's personal ROM and continued in the same philosophy to keep it as lightweight as possible. You can report bugs in this thread and suggest additions, but understand we're not obligated to fix or include them. We'll fix what is needed, and we'll include what makes sense.
2. We are NOT responsible for any bugs caused by custom-made fixes/additions/tweaks. You use them at your own risk and responsibility!
3. Regarding the copyright branding at the bottom in Lockscreen: We will NOT remove them nor provide any option to disable them. Don't PM/Post to ask for the removal or nag otherwise.
4. If you have battery drain, try the following:
Clear battery stats in recovery.
Freeze unused services (like Email, DSP Manager, Maps). This is important.
Turn OFF 'Allow mock locations'.
Don't set brightness too high.
Don't install too many unused apps.
Turn OFF WiFi, 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use.
Turn OFF LED Succession.
Reboot after you listen to music. Music service caused battery drain (in the past).
Generally, doixanh and me usually get 2-3 days out of a charge (give or take depending on usage).
5. If you still have battery drain after following Step 4, try:
Full wipe in recovery, re-install GingerDX.
Use Stock ROM for several days to see if the battery problem is caused by GingerDX or not.
If it doesn't drain, try installing one of your apps, test battery for a day, install another one, and test.
and so on...
That way you will know what's the cause of your battery drain.

There are a large number of apps I can't install. They come back with "application not installed" massage.
Tapatalk, IGO, MyBackup, TubeMate, BLNControl, etc...
I tried it with and without A2SD, I wiped everything, reflashed, tried again, still no luck.
Logcat says:
PackageManager: Cannot Install platform packages to user storage
PackageManager: Package couldn't be installed in /data/app/com.rerware.android.MyBackupPro-1.pk

Please do not report bugs if it is already listen in the list of known issues
Sometimes audio disappears and when this happens you'll experience lags everywhere (especially on video playback) and audio_mix wakelocks that will cause huge battery drain. (Check FAQ for workaround)
Manual network operator search (xmm6360 baseband seems to handle it differently than xmm626x)
Unstable calls audio quality using A2DP Bluetooth Protocol (first call has perfect audio, next ones no)
Sometimes video rendering using software codecs produces videos with inverted colors
Incompatibilities with any Chinese modem/baseband (if you use them you'll have horrible call quality)

Where are "Performance" and "Developer Options" categories?
To activate 'Performance' and 'Developer Options' categories in Settings you need to tap 7 times on 'Build number' located into Settings -> About Phone.
How can i apply themes?
Download the apk files for theme, install them and than apply through theme manager (link to themes ).
How can i solve problems with Hebrew language?
Go to "Developer Options" in Settings and check "Force RTL layout direction".
What can i do to reduce the "echo effect" while in-call?
Try to reduce in-call earpiece volume (if possible).
I'm having problems with battery life, what can i do?
1) Use "Greenify" to hibernate all apps with a "little cloud + 'Gcm' word inside" on the right of each app name.
2) Disable "Location" or set it to mode "Battery Saving" (Settings -> Location)
3) Make sure that your 2G/3G provider signal level isn't always low
4) Deny "Wake Up" and "Keep Awake" permissions to Google and third-party apps. (Settings -> Privacy Guard -> Press menu button and check "Show built-in apps" -> Press menu button again and go to Advanced -> Horizontal Scroll to Device)
5) Disable "Sync" or sync only useful stuff like Contacts
6) Disable "Auto-rotate screen" (Settings -> Display & lights -> Rotation)
7) Try another Modem/Baseband (excluding chinese ones).
If this isn't enough then replace your battery and/or reduce your phone usage. :silly:
Why is my phone over-heating while playing heavy-games or running heavy-apps?
Use a bit your brain to explain why. High CPU and GPU usage = high heat production. Your phone will automatically throttle CPU when needed so don't worry, it is safe and normal.
Can I use another kernel instead of the one included in the zip?
No. Only use the included kernel for 100% compatibility, bug reports with non-standard kernel will be ignored.
Is this ROM OTA supported
Not yet, but we will get it when the feature is available for liquidsmooth.
Video Playback started to lag and there's no sound, what can i do?
1) Make a call (also to an not existent number, you just need to hear something from the earpiece)
2) Reboot your phone

Very smooth indeed. For the dock icons title, on the home screen press menu button and then press settings. It'll take you to launcher settings instead of the main settings.

I have a question: how is the phone audio quality? especially over bluetooth because on other CM or AOSP roms, it was pretty much unusable

battery life is not that good but acceptable. Overall very smooth rom. Best lollipop rom for i9500 till now :good:
The black theme looks great and battery is comparable with Resurrection remix.

i tried all the cm lollipop roms as far as smoothness gearcm was the best also i tried ported note3 leaked lollipop but this is something different no lag at alllllll, a bunch of customization not present in any other rom , camera so fast , sound quality is good and the sound is lound hope keep updating this rom thank u .

camera work and flawlessly
I just had a random reboot :'( my phone was just sitting idle here on my desk while I was busy at work then I saw the boot animation and it booted to the sim lock screen

I am have been using this ROM for past 20hrs roughly, but I didn't not get any random reboot.
Pls provide me with the logcat if you get another random reboot, because I cannot do anything for it until I get the issue on my device or I get the logcat.

Seems you are asking, if this will replace your custom recovery to Stock one.
No it would not replace your recovery to Stock, however if it prompts you to disable flashing of stock recovery
you need to select yes, so the Rom doesn't force replace your custom recovery.

As you probably know... In order to setup S-Health, you need to have Knox... (during S-Health's initial setup only... then you can remove Knox) Since the ROM comes without Knox, there is no chance to setup S-Health. But don't worry... Use these 2 flashable files:
@sun2sunny -> Link Fixed
- Knox Installer -> Flash it... then wipe S-Health's data and run S-Health... walk thru the setup... and Done... S-Health is ready!
- Knox Remover -> Then flash the Knox Remover in order to remove Knox (again) and voila... No Knox and S-Health still fully operational.
*Note: Remember that you CAN'T update S-Health... so... avoid Google Play S-Health Updates.

Wifi-Calling is partially working with @OvrDriVE 's pack... (I still haven't done anything to Wifi-Calling / VoLTE / Bluetooth, etc...) I will soon try a few things...
By the way... users can install my Expansion Pack (v1) on top of OvrDriVE 's v1 Pack or as a Standalone... (it works both ways... so... no risk) Simply make sure you install my pack AFTER OvrDriVE 's pack...
Later on... this pack will NOT be compatible with OvrDriVE 's Pack... (as soon as I add my own Framework/SystemUI/SecSettings) but for now... it is.

From what I sense, people are holding off on root until it becomes more stable. At least this people is. That and there's little sense to root a phone you'll be turning in to the carrier in a couple of weeks.
It's very stable for me. I've no issues so far.

MagicMod comes with Magisk preinstalled, and the Miuipro version with supersu.
Does it support for f2fs? out of the box?

I installed it and after booting it shows something in russian language, i dont*understand jack sh*t, i press something in the middle it sends me to recovery
