This is why we make backup prior flashing. Distributing ROMs with proprietary software (like Amazon's) is strictly speaking not legal. Have you considered investigating tools like KFFA?

From my understanding, Bigxie version is this with root and deoxed, so might as well get that anyway.
Actually I don't believe this thread belongs in the development section.
The value here is for someone like me who had the sdcard0 bug every time I flashed from 4.0.4. With this, I can wipe the entire device and start fresh with 4.1.1. We no longer have to roll back to ICS to "factory reset" our phones.
how can you install one of these? I am just used to the usual CWM flashing...

Read the post 4 posts above. You have to build the code into a .zip. He even pasted the link.
I will make a flash able zip in a few hours.

No and yes. In theory they should be the same but things can get weird with ota's some times. The best is a factory image base not a ota. So you will see most dev's updating their bases to this in the coming days. If he posts a zip it will be in the correct place in the Dev section. Also if he posts a rooted deodexed zip many people will thank him for it.

Do you have the GSM or CDMA version? You can always use Odin or fastboot images to get where you want to be.

Yes, assuming you flash the ics .tar files. Which version of the phone do you have? There are step by step guides for both gsm and the CDMA version.

Found this thread after a search specifically for this - why? Because Voice Dialing over BT is completely broken in JB: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=35199
Google hasn't acknowledged the issue and seems to have no intent on addressing it. I used the feature daily and depended on it. Now it's completely broken. I've tried a couple of custom ROMs that purported to remedy it (by using some snippets of older code?) but they aren't working either. Would like to go back to ICS until there's another sanctioned release.
My only question was how to disable the OTA upgrade prompting, and it seems this thread has addressed that. Back to ICS I go!
I used to have the bluetooth problem. However I am running CNA with absolutely no problems anymore. All I do is delete the PicoTts.apk and everything works fine with bluetooth dialing. This has worked for the last few roms I have flashed. Might be worth a try to check it out on CNA.

Hey Guys...
I am currently on PA (latest build) and I was wondering what rom you guys would suggest that
lets me continue to HDMI mirror?
I would like to use PA still if I can, but I dont think its possible? My thinking is telling me I need to use
a rom that is built completely on source... Could someone please help shed some light on the subject?
Thank you!
to the top!!
Try this add this entry to your build.prop "ro.hdmi.enable" and set the property value to "true", reboot. should work

Unfortunately it doesn't work on PA
HI Guys, maybe someone can offer a little insite to my situation.
Well, my wife has the same phone on latest Sammy ICS (through Kies) ... I checked with her phone just to make sure, and it HDMI mirrors no problem..., but me being on PA JB (1029 build) can not...
through my research, it seems that this may only be done on Stock kernels?
So, in this case does this mean I can only use a rom based on stock kernel for now? (meaning limited to GB and ICS) Or is there anything along the lines of CM10 available that will allow me to do so? The reason I ask is because I'd like to stick with 4.1+ because of the more tablet like interface for my application.
thank you,
FWIW I'm running faux15 and have no issues with HDMI.

I recently, without thinking, deleted the stock calculator app and voice recorder on my phone. *facepalm* Can anyone provide a link to where I
could download the stock AT&T Galaxy s3 calculator/voice recording app?
Have you searched for stock apps in the themes and apps section? You may find what you're looking for there.

Hi XDA!
First of all, sorry for my bad english!
Since yesterday I have a big problem with my Galaxy Nexus I9000 I9250 (GSM).
I did a dirty flash upgrade to the latest CM11 official nightly (CM updater), but since then my phone freezes randomly and my screen gets pink, then I cant use my phone and need to pull my battery. I didn't overclock my phone and used the CM11 stock kernel.
Today I'd restore my phone to the Google Stock Image (Android 4.3.3), didn't install any mods and I still got the same problem!
Is my phone bricked? Could you help me out?
Greetz,
TinyFeather

I'd use SkipSoft Unified Android Toolkit
Toolkits never work that well if you don't understand the underlying processes. I suggest you revert to stock via adb - that way, you know and understand what exactly you're doing to your phone.
There is a revert to stock guide here.
