[Q] Flash mod for Xperia - Sony Xperia M

hi guys,
I'd like to install CWM to my Xperia M C1905... how to put the phone to "flash" mode, please?
I tried volume down, up + power button => nothing
I tried Reboot your Xperia device pressing and holding the power button, when the LED turns pink then press the Volume Up button now the LED will turn Cyan from http://tips4droid.com/cwm-recovery-xperia-m-xperia-m-dual => nothing
Thank you.

To boot into fastboot: power off your phone, hold the volume up key and connect the phone to your PC with the USB cable. When the LED turns blue, release the volume key. This is the one you need for CWM.
To boot into flashboot (for flashing firmwares using Flashtool) you hold the volume down key instead.
To boot into recovery: press the volume up key while the LED is pink as you wrote. It won't work until you install CWM.

[Q] How to boot into CWM recovery from power off?

I've successfully unlocked and rooted, installed Rom Manager and installed CWM recovery. While I can get into CWM recovery from within ROM Manager I can't fiigure out how to do it from power off. Any help greatly appreciated.
Hold volume up + volume down, then press the power button.
You should be in bootloader, with an android on its back and some info in the bottom left corner. Use the volume buttons to scroll through until you get to <Recovery> and then hit power.
I fingered it out. From power down, boot into fastboot mode by holding volume up and volume down and pressing the power button. A Green robot on his back with his chest opened up appears on the screen.
Then use the volume up or down until the green "Start" in the green arrow box is replaced with a red "Recovery mode" in a red arrow box.
Push the power button. The power on splash screen is displayed for a bit and then it enters the blue texted CWM recovery. Know exactly what you are doing in there!

WSOD??

Hi guys,
I'm gonna need your help here if its possible.
I have a Sony Xperia S, with default firmware/rom etc..
Suddenly the phone shows only a white screen. I can shut it down by pressing vol + and power. But if i boot again only a white screen appears (No Sony logo). Phone is also not found when connected to a PC with USB.
Entering recovery is also not possible. When i pres vol + and the power button a blue light flashes but again...the white screen appears.
Anybody having some tips?

Try entering flashmode instead by holding voldown+plugging in usb. Then flash a new firmware with flashtool

Volume Up + POWER (for 10 seconds) -> resets the battery, its like removing the battery and putting it back in [device will vibrate once]

And to add:
Screenshot: Hold Power button + Volume Down.
Recovery: Turn on phone, and at the Sony logo (or DoomKernel logo), repeatedly tap the Volume Down button (but please note - a fresh stock rom probably won't respond to this command - you would need to have a recovery installed or a custom kernel such as DoomKernel flashed already.)

LG E980 - Optimus G Pro - How to enter TWRP Recovery with hardware buttons

Hello
I used QuickBoot to enter TWRP recovery and did a complete backup.
After this, I installed an Xposed SDK ZIP and now, my phone is stuck in my Blisspop custom ROM front page.
I have powered it off, then tried the following, BUT none of these worked.
1) Volume up button + Power On button - release Power button on LG logo - Volume up button pressed alone.
2) Volume up button + Power On button - pressed all the time
3) Volume up button + Power On + Home button - Pressed all the time
4) Volume down button + Power On button - pressed all the time. - THIS makes the screen go black after LG logo, so I am suspecting it doesn't boot into recovery? Then how did Quickboot help?
Can someone tell me exactly how to enter TWRP recovery again using hardware buttons? Please, this is urgent.
Fixed
Fixed using this procedure. Hope it helps someone else;
1) Press Volume Up button + Power On button for 7 seconds until you see the LG logo the first time.
2) Quickly release both buttons after you see the LG logo DISAPPEAR - i.e. black screen.
3) When the LG logo appears again, keep pressing the Volume Up button.
This is how you enter TWRP recovery.
