I've got a small issue. Whenever I am watching a YouTube video and I use app switching to respond to a text message, when I return to the video it has lost all of the loaded video and has to rebuffer. Is there a fix for this as it is very inconvenient.

That's how the app is written.

That's what I thought. Its extremely annoying though, for an OS trying to do multitasking it doesn't really make sense.

Me too.
Have you tried Talkatone?
There's no way to put the current / latest version (v2.2.0.1344) to work properly on the Nexus 7 or any other Jelly Bean devices for that matter.
According to the developers, they're "hard at work to support Jelly Bean (Android 4.1)".

I was under the impression it was more of a "not being a phone" thing then a jellybean thing. Does Viber work on tablets now?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I see the latest version of viber which has just been released is jelly bean compatible however when I try to download it says my device is incompatible. Hope they just forgot to change the android version number!

They said the same thing for ICS before. Viber is slow to update.

You need to use a different number for activation for devices without a sim (old sim or someone's else's phone).
Did you get the apk from the viber support Page or just from the play store?

viber support... the market says not compatible with device

When I load into a mission the first few seconds of game play stutters a lot.
Is this a common issue and is there any way to fix this?
I am using TeamEos ROM.
Thanks

If it doesn't bother you you can change from ultra high settings too high this solves the problem for me
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
Ultra high works fine for me .never had a issue yet ....besides losing all my crap when they updated it keep force closing if we had the first release of dead trigger ..so I had to re install....
The posted the info about updating a few days after.........
Either than that no issues on updated version

I'm running the most recent update XenonHD. My screen times out when I'm watching a video on the CNET app or streaming anything on the browser but doesn't do it on YouTube. I would like to fix the issue and not download a app like I have been doing for some time now.
Thanks. Shane
