Use ota rootkeeper

If you update OTA you will not lose root. The only restriction is that you must have it roofed BEFORE performing the update.

Use OTA Root keeper to backup root and then try updating to the late start OTA.

It will be larger than those files. It won't be a text file either. I am not sure but it probably is a zip.

Hello there.
I'm hoping someone will help me. I'm trying to downgrade the android version on my T999 from 4.1.2 To 4.1.1 please help.

If you never did the 4.3 official update then you can just Odin to 4.1.1, or if you have custom recovery you can flash a 4.1.1 ROM as well.. Pretty sure there's threads on this subject
