I am super new to Android,
Can someone direct me to latest (Marshmallow) files for Samsung Galexy S III (Bell) SGH-I747M.
I hear its similar files as the ATT??? Don't want to brick this old phone.

There is stock no MM from Samsung for the i747m, only custom ROMs.
Have a look in the development threads for ROMs that are designed for the d2lte or d2att.

Anybody think we'll ever see a Stagefright patch from Verizon?
I dont think so. HTC dropped the M7 from support so it will be last on their list if they do anything at all. best bet is custom rom that has been patched. currently only CM source has the vulnerability patched. Maybe when the M8 gets it, we can get a custom rom that will have it patched.
