No swipe up for google now in the 4.3 update? - Verizon HTC One (M7)

I'm currently on the deodexed debloated rom and can't seem to find the setting, before in was in the display, gestures and buttons settings but I'm not seeing it. I do have exposed and a custom kernel, might that be why it's not showing?

Any mods for NFC while screen off?

I've seen on the gs3 forums so hacks to use NFC while the screen is off. Anybody know if we can get this going on the note 2?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
I found the thread for the Nexus, but cannot get confirmation that it would work with the GN2... This would be very helpful!
I tried the one that is floating around and it breaks NFC entirely. Had to restore the Nfc.apk that I saved.
I used the Xposed Framework mod to enable this and it works great. You can read about the Xposed framework mod here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2067292. I got the NFC mod (as well as in call recording) from here: http://www.villainrom.co.uk/forum/forums/xposed_framework_mods/
I can also confirm that the DPI mods that are enabled by this work as well.
Hope this helps.

I already had Xposed installed. So I downloaded the module, installed it and activated it via Xposed and then rebooted. Nothing...
I have other modules that are working properly, so I know its not the XPosed application.
Any suggestions? Did you have to do anything additional?
After activating it in Xposed, I then had to open NFC LockScreen in the Apps drawer and select "screen is off". Closed, rebooted and then it worked for me.
*Edit:
I tested on my wife's phone and it doesnt work on hers. Im running cmenards N7105ZHALJ4 rom and my wife is running teshxx stock T889UVALK8 so it does appear to be somewhat rom dependent.
Im running the same ROM as your wife... Oh well...

Just for the hell of it I did a back up and wipe and installed the cmenards N7105ZHALJ4 ROM and I followed your instructions and it still did not work.
I am willing to pay a bounty to someone who can get this working. I am running the teshxx stock VALK8 ROM and simply want to be able to use the NFC feature while screen off and locked.

4.3 Lockscreen option question

I'm on Pacman 4.3 right now and I miss the long press lock icon to unlock option that Pacman 4.2 used to have. A couple of other 4.3 roms do have that option but they're missing some features I like on Pacman. I'm wondering how hard it is to enable this? Do I edit some xml file in framework apk or is it a lot more complicated? The Gravitybox xposed module can enable that but its features conflict with those that Pacman already has. Other than that I can't find any info on how to make this happen. Thanks in advance!

On-screen buttons using buid.props results in an empty bar

So I have a Samsung tablet (SM-T800) and I have it rooted running the stock rom. I really want to enable on-screen buttons and disable the hardware buttons (I keep hitting them by accident all the time when I read comic books. I hate them).
So all the instructions I've see have invovled editing the
Code:
build.prop
and adding
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
. When I do that and reboot, I get a black bar at the bottom of the screens in most of my apps with no buttons on it. I assume this is the on-screen nav bar, but for some reason, all the buttons (Home, back, app select) are missing. I know on my phone where I run Cyanogen, you can customize which buttons show up. I was wondering if this was configurable somewhere and if, in Samsung's stock rom, they disable all of them? Or is it something else entirely?
What am I missing?
If you have xposed there is a great app called Ultimate Dynamic Navbar 23.2 that will allow you to have the navbar in portrait or landscape.
To disable the hard keys you need to edit Generic.kl in system/usr/keylayout

xposed says the framework isn't supported on my architecture. Surely this has to just be a setting somewhere in the stock rom?

Wrong framework, you need Arter97 builds and a deodexed rom.

Yea, I don't want to do that. I have the stock rom setup the way I want. I really don't want to wipe it. Surely there must be a way to get the on screen buttons working on the stock rom?

Night clock always on and edge bar always landscape

Anyone has any idea on how to get this done on stock rooted odexed 5.1.1?
- Night clock always on
(The method posted here is only for deodexed Roms and 5.0.1)
- edge bar always landscape
(Tried rotating in app settings xposed but no success...)

the problem is that most features of app settings doesn't work for Lollipop... because Lollipop is ART ... i searched for alternative apps but wothout success...
for permanent nightclock i tried to replace 5.1.1 touchwiz and cocktailbarservice with 5.0.1 apks... that works but the nightclock isn't shown on screen when screen is off. Maybe there are other apps or frameworks to replace with older one but i don't know wich ones

For night clock you can try this

Remove back and home buttons from status bar

I believe this option exists in Malaysk's ROM, but is it possibly on the stock firmware, I have xposed installed. Seems a little redundant to have them with physical buttons right there.
I can't speak to the stock ROM... but I can confirm that I removed those items from the status bar on the Malaysk ROM.

Thanks, I had heard/read that, was hoping there was a mod/xposed module out there for the stock ROM. Everything works fine for me on the stock ROM, not really keen to change it, would just like to be able to fix a couple of these little things.
Yeah I don't think so man... specifically because the app I used to change those settings is called "Malasyk Mods".
