I searched the market and forum but couldn't find the answer. Is it possible to reassign the down volume to take a picture instead of using the optical button?
I kinda wish it was possible to press the trackpad button to automatically open the camera app instead of having to navigate to it.
I also would love to know if this is possible. The Droid x has a dedicated button for it which helps. Pressing the optical track button pushes the camera forward where it is not natural to brace against resulting in a moving camera while taking pictures which makes everything blurry. If we could use one or both of the volume buttons it would alleviate this tendency to move he phone while taking a picture.
Is this achievable through an application or would it have to entirely replace the camera app?
hi everyone..i just want to know if there is any app that can captures photo while recording a video....?galaxy nexus has got features on their stok cam....im just wondering if someone has got or same app...tnx

Screencaster or use hold volume down + power to take screen shots
Hi all,
I've noticed in a few photography apps which have a choice of either taking a picture or opening the gallery, that when you press the "Camera" option, it usually takes you to the stock camera but with the difference that there is no Record button, only a big capture button right in the middle.
Is there any chance of seing this as a seperate app or any way of creating a shortcut for it? I usually only use the camera and having to avoid the record button can become tiresome at times, even with the new 4.5 version.
All the best
My Note 2 takes pictures immediately when I press the camera button.
Problem is that the camera isn’t focused. If I want to take focused pictures, I must hold camera button for a while and as soon as is focused I release it.
Samsung S3 and S4 take a snap after it‘s focused.
Is here any way to change it in settings?
I use official the camera app in auto mode, single picture mode.
Hello. I want my phone to take a picture every second with 108MP option on. There is an app called "Open Camera" and it can take a picture every second but the resolution is 12mp - 4,000x3000. The ultra resolution is 12,000x9,000. I'm looking at android developers on Fivver but most of them don't know how to do edit the app or make a new one. Anyone here knows how I can make my phone take a picture every second and make like 100 pictures?

Burst shots are low quality pictures. Anyways, I found a solution. It's called Auto Click app. It will push shutter button for you and take as many pictures as you want.
