So 4.3 ota is finally up and running.
Rooted.
CWM.
Everything restored, perfect.
Until I installed gravitybox and Wanam.
It seems as though activating those apps changes the power button into hotreboot instead of power menu.
Very annoying becuase I loose all the mods when I turn the moduels off, but it fixes hotreboots.
Leave mods on and I profit...but power button doesnt bring up power menu (Lock function works normal btw)
Anyone else face this?
I did research with sec.key editor but changing key 116- to POWER_WAKE to POWER doesn't fix anything.
Seems deactivating the Xposed moduels is my only fix, but again I cant profit from the mods. Thanks in advanced
*I can live without advanced reboot menu and all the mods but of course if there is a fix why not

Pretty much said it all in the headline. Updated to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1328340 and since then, my power button won't work inside of CWR. I'm screwed cause I don't like this ROM, yet I can't change my rom no matter what...
yup one of the newer cwm started changing it to use the hardware buttons (home i believe) on the bottom but you can push the volume up button a few times to re enable the power button.

Yap, you have to use the home button with the latest version of cwm. The power button functions as a back button now. -Grand
Has anyone found an XPosed module that will make both the Vol. Up/Dn track skip as well as the long-press VolUp (or Home, etc.) Torch work with a KitKat ROM?
I have so far been unsuccessful in finding a way to make this work (again, on a 4.4.2 ROM, not a 4.3 ROM.) I have tried several combinations, and eventually had to restore a backup because one of them made it so I couldn't lock my phone (lock screen was disabled and couldn't get it back) and any option on the reboot menu resulted in a UI crash/soft reboot, and turning off all XPosed modules did not fix it.
Thanks in advance.
Wanam, Gravity Box.
OK guys,my power button is faulty ,and I want to use home button as an alternative ,so here is so far what I've done: on mokee ROM r5 (4.2.2) I installed xposed framework with xposed additions which can remap buttons ,I assigned the power menu to the home button, but now it no longer wakes up the phone.
So how can I restore wake up functionality to it along with new functions?
thanks in advance

maybe, you can use volume up and down buttons for waking up the phone. I think there is an option in settings like that.
I'm rooted with Xposed framework and I randomly rebooted my phone earlier to have it turn back on with a functioning menu button. I looked through all the modules I had downloaded and even booted into safe mode but to no avail. I desperately need help with this.
P.S. When I try to edit the button combination via the settings app, it crashes.
Have been having a strange issue lately. I can't seem to turn off my tablet.
Long pressing the power button to bring up the power menu just soft restarts. I tried using a third part app (shortcutter) to bring up the advanced power menu which works fine but I still can't turn it off. Pressing power off just soft restarts, pressing full restart just soft restarts.
I can get into recovery but selecting power off from there just reboots back into recovery again.
I managed to get into safe mode and tried from there to see if it was a rogue app but it just reboots back into safe mode. Am rooted with magisk running lineage os 14.1 most recent nightly. Did a factory reset as well but to no avail.
Any ideas appreciated.
Fixed! Turns out it was a substratum overlay causing the problem.
