It looks like Asus Memo Pad series tablet gained wild success due to very affordable price with decent performance. In addition, Asus is developer-friendly, so why doesn't there have forum for the tablet series?
Please post your request in the appropriate thread.

Hey everyone!
I am not so sure if this is the right place to ask but would anyone feel the need to have a site dedicated for Phablets?
:good:If you answered YES what would you personally like to see on the site?
I'm looking to create a community where people can find everything there is to know about Phablets, where developers can post up any Phablet related apps or roms they may have created.
P.S volunteers are welcomed! shoot me a PM
Right now I am interested in a friendly to developer community phablet, and I would like a site like this. Right now its a toss up between a galaxy not ii and Sony xperia z but its hard to find compilations of phablet information so I fear buyers remorse when I eventually do decide. Oh if it had comparison functionality I would like a developer friendly ness rating swell as carrier support rating, networks it supports and other facts about carrier like quality of service.

Pro:
Since more and more copanies are deciding to make one, i guess that is a good idea. It's a good thing that we finally move away from this "make everything as small as possible" trend that's been around since the 90s... databse of phablets, size comparisons, available roms database, and some nice entries about the market in general - who announced what etc.
Con:
Since all out phablets use the phone OS with phone UI as default, i guess on the software side our devices are just bigger smartphones, there's no difference between the S3 and Note 2 in terms of the OS - and if we modify our UI to run it in tablet mode - well, that's a different story.

Hello all,
I came to this forum because I purchased a surface tablet and want to share my experience with other people about this device. However, it's quick for me to realize that the surface section is under windows 8 development and hacking, which new users cannot post in unless he got over 10 posts. For any other device, there is usually a dedicated forum with general, Q&A, development and hacking sections. This allows new users to post in general and Q&A. For example, the nexus 10 which is also a tablet has it owns dedicated forum. So why do we have this biased treatment to the surface tablet?
Thank you.
I would add this request under the device request section. Actual development for the Surface (as a tablet device, not for Windows 8 RT applications in general) hasn't really picked up all that much which is why it is in a sub-forum. If/when it picks up, we'll be sure to add a forum.
I'm somewhat frustrated by this too. I'd like to add to discussions in the surface subforum, but I'm still a noob here. I don't have pedantic questions to ask, so I can't rev my post count in meaningless ways in other forums.
Perhaps someone could drop the minimum post count in that forum?
I've recently ordered a Nexus 5 that should be delivered next week.
I'm looking at cases but all that I've found so far have raised side edges. On my current phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) I have a Cool Vent Case which doesn't have side raised edges.
Anyone has seen any case that doesn't have raised edges on the sides?
Since I cannot post images here due to the low number of posts so far, please Google "Galaxy S3 mesh case" for pictures of how it looks like.
Thanks!

I first tried to post there but got the message "This is not a Q&A forum. By posting questions in this forum you are breaking the forum rules. Please only post questions in the Q&A forums.", hence the reason why I posted here instead. Should I post this question on the "Nexus 5 Accessories" forum?
I would ask for it to be moved using the report button.

Hello everyone, I am buying Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 in the near future and I looked at the Mi Pad forum here and I thought it's better if the Mi Pad 4 gets its own forum instead of getting mixed with other discussions concerning the first 3 generation of devices. Just a suggestion, what do you guys think?
Read the sticky threads before posting. There's a thread for new device forum requests:
