Hello,
I have a big problem. All apps keep crashing when I select and copy some text.
E.g. whatsapp, crazy tribes, cool notes…
This happens since the update of a.i. type keyboard. so I deactivated it and used standard google keyboard but the problem remained.
I wrote to a.i. support but got no reply yet.
Any ideas?

Does it happen on stock too? Or just in PA?

I've seen this with Google Music. I've force stopped and cleared data but the problem randomly comes back and I dont know whats triggering it

For me, the best working solution is to press multitasking button and swipe away all the apps.

Thats what i did too
At first i tried to open my music, it opened my google voice instead :/ but thats the temporarily solution i suppose :/
This has not gone away. Even if I try to access messaging from the app drawer or recent app list it doesn't work. Hitting back cycles through other apps, does not help. The only way to access messaging is through the people app or through a notification.

Try rebooting it?
Like someone said, swipe away all the recent apps.

Are there any working Text-to-Speech apps out yet for ICS?
Also, is there a way to only receive notifications from certain apps ONLY when a wifi connection is on? I want to save my data.
I don't see why existing TTS engines wouldn't work - I use SVOX classic on ICS, just as I did on Gingerbread.
It's only a free trial and the comments said it didn't work on ics. I'll keep searching

Received answer on wifi question. Anyone regarding the TTS? I'm wondering if I should move this question to the development thread..

Any updates on when TTS will be available for ICS? I can't find anything on it.

Google has had TTS built in for a long time. What are you trying to do... just change the voice?

Go into data usage, look at your apps that use most data an click on it. Select a limit for data usage an click restrict data. Great feature of ICS

I'm trying to have my texts read out loud to me when they come in but it doesn't work. It only works when I turn "talk back" on but then my phone speaks everything, lol.

Download Vlingo from the market. Put it in in car mode. Turn on safe reader. It'll stay on now until you turn it off. Your prayers have been answered.

In car mode is on and safe reader is on but it still won't read out loud automatically... Please help!!! Lol.. Do I have to disable ringtone or something? My default messaging application is Handcart if that makes a difference.

Handcent* Sorry

I know some have commented about this app, the market says its not compatible with our gnex. I did have it for awhile on my phone but after rooting and wiping, now it doesn't show up in my market.
My question is... Is there anyway to sideload the apk? And if so, does any body have a file for it?
the app as a general texting app worked most of the time, but it really shined with group texting..... meaning you could reply to all in a group text setting... Something you can't do with chomp, go, or handsent

I always find myself texting long msgs and am always being stopped in the middle of it because my phone won't let me go past the 160 character restriction. Is there a way to let my phone make MMS' without using a third party app?

I have the same problem with paranoid android on the latest beta.
It does this automatically in stock. Idk why you're getting stopped from doing it.
Hello
I've been trying to update several apps here and for some reason it is not working.
This started to happen after I saw the upgrade notice for Android 4.3, which I haven't been able to install either.

try to clear the data/cache of the play store and reboot after that.
Didn't work

I don't think there is a known fix for this that works for everyone. Actually it is possibly an issue on Google's end. http://productforums.google.com/d/msg/mobile/2UKJ7ZyIav0/jHQD4F7QAhAJ <-- that thread has quite a few things you could try, as well as more links to look at.
Perfect
And it was surprisingly easy to fix, just remove, and readd the Google account.
I feel dumb.
