Iam running the latest nightly of cm11 , and the USB connect just doesn't work!
I try it with USB debugging and with out it , and it's not work ...
What to do ?

Got it now!!
Have to turn debugging mode on!
Developers options are enabled by clicking 7 times on About -> Build number.

I have this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2112864 and USB debbuging doesnt work. Someone know how to fix it?
Well as such there is no bug in USB debugging as far as i know.
But as it is still an experimental rom u cant say..ask the dev only.
But first elaborate what error u get and whats ur specs.

First things first -- did you install LG USB drivers on your PC?
usb otg suddenly isn't working anymore on my G4. so i figured a factory reset could fix it but to no avail. my last resort is to use LGUP and flash v10c but the problem
now is that my computer (windows 10) and may laptop (windows 7) won't detect my G4. but when i connect my S3 it works just fine. is there any fix on these? already tried uninstalling and re-installing usb driver.
please help!

usb? 2.0 3.0? 3.0 dont work.. use 2.0 usb port.
so download mode does not work.?

my flash drive is usb 3.0, it is working before on my G4.
also, i tried different ports on my computer still won't recognized my G4. i even tried it just now on my pc at work, same results with my pc at home. when i connected my G4 on the pc it only charges..

i think a back to stock might fix it if it enters download mode.... i think thats the only hope ..

This is a very common issue people usually get when the flash a certain custom rom ...with rom comes in kernel also...after flashing stock rom flash stock kernal...this issue will be resolved

it can still enter download mode, but unfortunately there is no connection between my PC and my G4. same error pops up

but i havent flash any rom on my g4 as my unit is bootloader locked
also, i have tried usb host check app with the results as follows.
android.hardware.usb.host.xml
ok
handheld_core_hardware.xml
USB host not enabled
tablet_core_hardware.xml
not found
could the missing xml's be the culprit??

U must have a usb connection in download mode ?? Have u tried connecting it ? also are u using stock cable of lg white colored ?

I have the same problem with my G4. It works before but suddenly not working anymore. I will guest it is the charging port of the phone is broken. It can charging the battery but cannot connect/transfer files with PC.

But how can i update to marshmallow if i can't switch usb mode to make it detectable by my Windows / Linux ?
i can't go to download mode , it goes directly to the charging logo and Windows says error with usb

That's a problem.make sure you plugged into 2.0 usb port.do you have your battery plugged in while going to download mode ?
Pressing down volume up and inserting usb will get you into download mode.
If you still didn't get download mode ,try Fastboot.

sorry for long time afk , i'm looking for jobs
I boot in download mode but W10 don't want to recognize the download mode
my micromax android one sprout 4 device got fully bricked :crying: (dnt know the reason). i tried to flash stock rom through sp tool, the rom got installled sucessfully but also my phone doesn't turn on . also have problem in usb that, when im connecting usb, it keeps on connecting and disconnection . please help me:cyclops:. whatsapp-9751026364
Change the USB cable or check the SP tools drivers is it installed properly or not ?

Stay connected with ur PC and try to flash ROM, do not disconnect ur phone until ur ROM get flashed...
Then u r good to go..??
