You know how we can receive a message using Qpair than we can respond?
Is there a way or a app that we can CREATE a message from our Gpad and send it to the phone, than the phone sends it out to the person?
Thanks for any help....
I use an app called MightyText which allows you to do this.

Use dinamotxt. It syncs over Google+ with your phone and will let you use the WiFi version as a texting device. Works well

If your with rogers also with your cell phone there is a free service that comes with your plan called rogers one number allowing you to make calls and send texts through any tablet or computer and it uses your actual cell number. The app is on the play store

Hi guys,
I have the wifi only version of N7 and I use it a lot while at home. The only problem is that I have to keep reaching back to my phone to reply to SMS or whatsapp. Do you guys know of some app through which I can link my phone so that I can send messages through my tablet itself and not have to reach to the phone? Something like Airdroid maybe? Or Snappea? I can still use these apps through the browser but can you guys suggest some better way or app?

There's DeskSMS and TabletSMS.
You need to have DeskSMS working on your phone, then TabletSMS will work. You can also install a browser extension so you can reply to SMS via computer as well. DeskSMS costs money, not sure how much exactly, as it's been awhile since I bought it.
Hangouts would be an easier "fix"

Thanks guys. Google Voice isn't available in India yet. I'll try TabletSMS.
So the sms issue is solved. Can we access WhatsApp somehow on a wifi only tab? You guys know of a way?

Tablet talk is what you need. It sends SMS and notifications to your tab. You can reply back and stuff. I haven't used it but I heard it works great.

I'm looking to see if anyone uses a third-party sms app that they prefer over the stock? I've been looking at some of them and I like the sound of go sms just not having to buy additional stuff for it. I'm also looking for one on top of running well, that has the capability of working with an iPhone users group mms, cause right now when someone with an iPhone sends me a group message it only responds to the sender not everyone.

I would second that. It's got great emoji support (gotta' download the separate Textra emoji plugin) as well, and notification options, etc.
Really the best, IMO.
Cool thanks, I'm gonna give it a try

Are their any apps that send text messages with the Nexus 7 (2013) model? Not rooted. Not having any luck. My hangouts app doesn't seem to be working either. Any help will be welcomed.
Thank You, Vinny

I see you use Verizon. They have a free app that uses your cell number over WiFi. Works ok for me.
Have you considered Tablet Talk? I currently use it and think it works great.

I've used TT also and found it worked well too. It actually syncs the messages better then the Verizon app because it goes in and out of the phone instead of the N7 via Wi-Fi. I don't remember if there were more features with the paid version but it worked so well I kicked the dev for coins.
