It is s-off, so you can just flash the recovery directly. Take the cwm zip file, extract it and find the file with .img extension, rename it (optional) to recovery.img. boot to fastboot and use fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Oh, and also please avoid double posting in the future.

just remove PD98IMG.zip file on your sd card first..then like yumm91 said..download recovery file from TWRP, 4EXT or CWM..extract it..copy n rename it the *.img file to something like recovery.img then paste in the same folder as fastboot.exe on your adb/ android tools folder..
reboot your phone to bootloader again n select FASTBOOT..connect your phone via usb..then open cmd..source to your adb/android tools folder..then type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img".. done...reboot to bootloader again then try boot to recovery
hope this help..
Bro really confusing please help and explain me clearly...deleted from sd card.extracted recovery.img from cwm zip...then that only cant able to understand

first you must deleted PD98IMG file on the root of your sdcard that you've tried to used before..because if the file still there...the bootloader will always tried to loaded the file it self..
then download TWRP recovery.img file from herethen place it on your adb folder..the same place as fastboot.exe folder..
then reboot your phone to bootloader again..and select FASTBOOT..then connect your phone via usb until indicator at phone change to "FASTBOOT-USB"..then type first.."fastboot devices" for checking detected of your phone..if your phone already detected.then continued to type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"..after finish..exit cmd then disconnect your phone from pc..then reboot your phone to bootloader again and check select the recovery..if flashing recovery success..your phone will go to TWRP recovery..and ready for installing any custom rom
hope you can understand this..sorry for my bad english

before you download SDK you must have latest HTC driver too..you can download in here
if used windows os jus download SDK from here..after that axtract the file then see in structure folder :
adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20131030>sdk>platform-tools> "this is the fastboot & adb exe folder what i mean & you must place your downloaded recovery.img file is"
then reboot your phone to bootloader..select FASTBOOT on your phone bootloader..then connect your phone to pc via usb until indicator on your phone say "FASBOOT-USB"..open cmd change source folder first to "platform-tools" folder
for example :
if this "adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20131030" folder are in C:\ drive on your pc..then you must change source to this..
command type :
cd c:\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20131030\sdk\platform-tools
now your ready to use adb and fastboot command..
next type w/o quotes :
"fastboot devices" (to check that's your phone is connected)
then continued type :
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
done..
now you can reboot again to bootloader to check if recovery installed correctly..
if you success go to this TWRP recovery..then you can start download any custom rom from DHD forum..copied the ROM.zip file to the root of your sd card then flash it through TWRP recovery..

no..you don't need to update your hboot again...your hboot is already s-off this mean you don't need to unlock again..
just try it what i say before..your phone just need installing custom recovery for replace the stock recovery it self..then you can installing any custom rom from there..
but i'm not sure if you need to change your hboot to eng hboot..you can try flash PD98IMG.zip file from this thread first then raplace it again with PD98IMG.zip from here..
after that..you can continued step what i say before to installing TWRP recovery then installing custom rom..

Go back to stock recovery:
Code:
Reverting back to Stock
- Formatting all the 3 partitions. (i.e. /cache, /data, and /system)
- You will then need to flash a "Stock" Clockworkmod Recovery Image. Links (and procedure to flash) available in the Index Thread
Nothing happened
Did you flash a new ROM after following the steps mentioned above?
Just change mtdpartmap.txt to 250 40 then redo the whole process.
Wipe.
Flash bravo recovery.
Reboot recovery.
Install rom.
flash bravo boot.
Reboot.
After flashing a new rom you must flash bravo boot when already using a custom mtd and if the roms system folder is bigger than your mtd it'll get stuck at the splash screen.

Yes thanks but i have no idea how to do that .. im reading but i cant do that
Get fastboot and adb tools from the given link in the post..
Now download the recovery for our wildfire which is also linked...
Extract the tools as well as recovery.img in the same folder..
Now open the folder in cmd and write " fastboot flash recovery recovery.img " and press enter...
P.s. i am issuming that you have the drivers installed.. or else you will have to inatall them too... In order to check if your mobile is connected correctly when you open the tools folder in cmd type " adb devices " and see if your device is listed.

Same as you did for Getting CM7R2 HBoot
1. Download PB99IMG_stock.zip from Alpharev's site.
2. then rename it as PB99IMG.zip and place it in root of your SD card
3. Power off then Powerup your Phone with Volume Down + Power (Boot in Bootloader) there select Yes when asked for updating HBoot and Restart.
4. Goto Recover format /system
5. Restore Nandroid Backup or Flash new ROM.
Delete

Use Fastboot commander, that`s the best and most powerful one.

The downgrader allows a RUU to install as it checks for the HBOOT version so it doesn't flash over a newer version.
I have not used Android Flasher. I have never had any issues using Fastboot commander for switching between stock, CM 7, oxygen and dGB HBOOTs.
You are using the .img file and not the .zip right?

Yes, do google AlphaRev and follow the instructions. See the table that describes the partition tables (based on the ROMs for which they were created) and pay attention to whether you are using the img or zip.

I am on HBOOT-0.80.0000 and trying to upgrade to another one to use the newer ROMS properly and no matter which PB99IMG I choose e.g. PB99IMG_oxygenr2 or PB99IMG_cm7r2 and place these in the root of my SD card renamed as PB99IMG.zip I don't get the option to overwrite or anything. The fastboot loooks at the file as it says Checking.... Then it just goes back around to the FASTBOOT option???

Once you place the PB99IMG.zip on root of your SD card it will not ask you to override anything unless and until you had placed it before. Then boot into fastboot to flash the zip and it will ask you to update hboot you need to select yes by doing volume down button. Then it will ask you to reboot into bootloader select yes again, and you are done flashing the hboot.

Hmmmmmmmmmm
The problem is I can not ("unlock" Bootloder) for Root
This problem got me after installed (stock ROM) to my device via (RUU)
I followed the same steps taken by the first time , but that does not work Because (Bootloader) in the case of (relocked)
And I want to become a case (Bootloader) is (unlocked) again
But how????????????
What do you mean:
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
yes locking it after the first unlock,it says relocked.for unlocking it again-
place the Unlock_code.bin image file u received from htc the first time in the fastboot/platform-tools folder.
boot ur phone into bootloader.
select fastboot.
connect phone to pc.it should say fastboot usb in red.
now flash the Unlock_code.bin to ur phone using the following command-
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin.
select yes.ur bootloader is unlocked again!
for rooting it again-
flash a recovery first.boot into bootloader then go into fastboot as mentioned above.connect phone to pc.
then place the recoveryname.img in the fastboot/platform-tools folder.flash it using-
fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img.
the recovery is flashed.now, boot into recovery.and then flash this zip in recovery-

How I Rooted my device before with that same system and the same files without any addition or deletion
I told you that the old way did not work I want another way to "unlock bootloder" to root
Sorry there is no other way to unlock bootloader;the only way is giving u an error, and that error is caused due to improper driver installation and environment setup.

My question is this I have done a software update via the htc software update option on the phone but when it comes to restarting the phone after the update it takes me back into the twrp main menu. What do I need to do to bypass this and get it to do a normal update

CASE CLOSED !
So i have an HTC One X for about 4 months now, ive decided to try cyanogen mod i liked it at the beggining but then i decided stock rom wuld be better, but now i found myself with a huge problem or so to say problems, 1st of all i cant seem to find the right RUU for it
im CID 102
and Main - Ver 4:18:401:4
its really a pain, since i literally cant acess its storage since it haves no ROM now, it haves cwm installed, and ive tryed installing a nandroid backup which worked but the touchscreen is not working.
any solutions? ideas? im completely stuck,
my phone is S-ON RL
and its Unlocked
Did you flash the boot image from the nandroid backup? try that first. Or Put another rom on by connecting phone to pc and mounting the storage from cwm and copying the rom over. And flash the boot image from the rom in fastboot

mounting the storage via cwm wotn work, it wont detect the storage on my pc, and yes i have all the required drivers for the phone installed, so i cant directly copy a custom ROM or even a Stock one thru dat method, and yes ive flashed the boot.img that was contained in the nandroid backup.zip folder
Try another usb port for the cable and wait a few minutes when you plug it in, I have known it sometimes take 3 or 4 minutes to find the storage on some pc's
