nothing as of now. Still waiting for some kind of update on this release. I figure its mostly bug fixes on the pre-released 4.3 rom. We have to wait and see. I wouldnt sure install that and enable knox on my device at this moment. I have DN3 rom running on my device and have most of the features of note 3. And i know for 200% that this update contains no such added things. So, I would not be updating until someone actually releases a rooted version of it. :cyclops:
Could someone please get this rom deodexed?
Cheears.
isn't N7100XXUEML3 the newest build?
I've yet to see a prerooted rom based on it

Do this, then this.
Can we Update any Custom ROM OTA? as same applicable for stock ROM where we gets update notification & it does update itself ?
coz i just worried abt latest updates which aren't always readily available for custom roms in Cwm format, where in stock rooted ROM the update can be done by temp. unrooting & flashing back stock recovery.
So, any1 understand or gone through this issue plz help me forward to proceed .
yes i will be implementing my roms with GOOMANAGER which will say when a rom is offered OTA
hmm! thanks for the reply dude!
bt i need to know now is bcoz all custom ROMS available are having v.2.22.xxx.x, & in India i've stock updated with v2.24.xxx.x, So can i get/apply the same update OTA on any custom ROM or ur cm9 also now?
if yes then how?( it would be AWeSomE.)
No only pure stock ROMs can receive OTA updates.
OK got it. :good:
I've got an AT&T Note II that had Clean Rom on it, but I really wanted to get 4.3. Finally heard that the official OTA had been released about a week ago (mid December), so had the bright to return my phone to stock and do the OTA. Returned the phone to stock (4.1.1) and checked for updates...was very excited that an update was discovered and downloaded. But when all was said and done, it was the 4.1.2, not the 4.3 I expected. I've tried to again check for updates, but my phone tells me I have the "most current version". Phone is no longer rooted...Kies is no help..tells me I can't update this device via kies.
What am I missing here????? I'm pretty much a noob, though have tried a few custom roms. Can't say I'm particularly adventurous...I thought if I could at least get 4.3 I'd be REASONABLY current with the roms.
Thx much!!!

Thx...but Kies won't allow the update. If I could find the native 4.3 file, I'd flash it it. I just flashed the leaked 4.3 for sgh-i317 from 2 months ago, so I now have "a" 4.3...just not the final official one. Maybe that's the best I can do for now.
Thx anyway!

All I've been able to find is the leaked version from October... which I'm using. But it's not the final. Best I can tell is the final is I317UCUBMK6 and I've not been able to come up with anything on it. But the for trying.

You might have to downgrade from leaked 4.3 to 4.1.2 and then use the MA4 to MK6 file through ODIN.
Hello I would like to know how to update from 4.2.2 ( Liquid Smooth 2.9) to 4.4. Do I have to update to 4.3 with knox removed and then flash a 4.4 rom? Can I use Odin to flash a 4.3 rooted official rom directly from 4.2.2?
Sorry for my bad English

You can just find a ROM you want to flash, read the installation instructions and flash away. If it requires you to update your bootloader, it'll tell you to do so. It might behoove you to read a few pages in the ROM thread, at least read the first and last two pages. Also pay attention to which version of cwm or twrp is recommended. Don't forget to do a nandroid in case something gets screwed up.

Hey! I've been spending hours reverting my rom to stock and doing my OTAs to get to lollipop.
My phone is a Bell M8 with S-ON. I am currently up to 4.4.4 and about to do the Lollipop update. I am aware I should do sunshine on 4.4.3 but am broke right now so was just thinking of waiting until it works on Lollipop.
That being said, the current Bell OTA for Lollipop is version 4.20.666.1 (awesome numbers btw) and most roms say I need firmware 4.16.x.x.
My question is, will those roms work properly on this firmware? Or should I go back to 4.4.3 and use sunshine (I am impatient and want lollipop now, but stock roms suck.)
Thanks for the help!
edit: I found this advice in a rom thread
In future Rom releases, you may stick with your region’s firmware as long as that firmware is from the current released base, such as 5.0.1, 5.0.2, etc.
Firmware flashing is not required for every Rom update. Most of the time it is best to remain on your phone’s native firmware for best signal reception, battery life, and overall performance.

So does that mean as long as the rom is the same version 5.0.x that I should be fine?
Ya you should be fine tuning that firmware with the Rom... Can I ask you to also please upload the ota for us ...I've been looking for it all around

Where do I find it I haven't update yet.. I'd you can tell me where it is located I can extract and upload it.
I have a TWRP backup of it. Would that work or probably not since the firmware isn't there.
