I have a Samsung S3 i747m from Telus and I want to install a 4.4 ROM onto it. Can someone link me or tell me what ROM is safe to use for my carrier and model? I'm thinking of using the i9000 ROM on the cyanogenmod side, http://download.cyanogenmod.org/

Search is your friend. You can find a rom that is on 4.4.x for your device using the S3 Orig Development Forum. And it makes no sense to use a ROM that isn't for your device.

Hi:
I just got the Samsung Galaxy Ace II x GT-S7560M for my dad. I want to put a custom ROM , but a STABLE ROM on it. cyanogenmod doesn't seem to have it for my model.
Can someone recommend another flavor of ROM that is good and stable maybe?
Please let me know.
Thanks
For your dad, I think stock rom is the best becuz it smooth and easy for use. CM is too complex than need!

There aren't any custom ROMs yet, but I recommend that you flash a build of our firmware from Panama. The Panama firmware is significantly smoother than other firmwares.

To flash most of the custom ROMS u need to be on 4.2.2 (i.e. to upgrade boot loader).
1. First upgrade to 4.2.2 preferably ...MK3 version,
2. Take nandroid backup and then experiment with custom ROMS until u choose the desired one.

This device doesn't have an official lolliopop....not even an official kitkat.
But u can install some custom cm12 or omni lollipop 5.0.1 roms in the dev section of this forum
u can also get kitkat by flashing some of the kitty roms in the at&t note 2 dev section like dn4, etc
But first, u need to root your device and intsall a custom recovery ie. twrp or cwm/philz.. Every information is in this forum so please search and u will find
Any idea when this device will get lollipop or can I install official firmware of n7100 on this device.

U cannot install original firmware of n7100 on this device. but like i said, u can get other custom roms on n7105 or the at&t note working on our device. I am using DN4 for lte devices now and its flawless.....everything note 4 has. and its android 4.4.4
so u have many options to pimp your device as u want. u dont really need the official firmware. Only issue will be the absence of wifi-calling.
sgh-t889 on DN4 baseband unknown, imei unknown, no calling
Anyone successfully making calls on an sgh-t889 on DN4? I mean over the network, not wifi calls. I have baseband unknown, carrier unknown, no service, IMEI unknown.
Can you help me get the phone working?

You can install it, but still has bugs ...
Isn't the only Nougat ROM currently for I9505? So you need to change the firmware and recovery to be I9505 compatible, right?

Here are two Nougat ROMs that are currently in alpha, courtesy of JDCTeam.
AOSP 7.0 and Optimized CM14

Not at all! If you have a US model Galaxy S4, you should be able to install i9505 ROMs as long as they specify it's a unified build, but in my experience, I've been able to flash i9505 ROMs on my T-Mobile S4 just fine.

Oh, I didn't know this. Should you also need to have an i9505 recovery flashed beforehand?

I'd recommend against flashing an i9505 recovery on an M919 phone simply because of different firmware. jfltetmo TWRP should be fine.

Wait, so you just clean flash the i9505 ROM on after doing a wipe...? Isn't there any issue with the kernel or baseband?
